Arrived completely the wrong size and flimsily built. Trying to get them to call me back as the number doesn't work. Seriously regret this purchase. Will update if this gets resolved satisfactorily.

Very pleased with the made to measure frame which arrived very well packaged and within the stated timescale. Haven't used Picframes before but would certainly do so again.

Similar to another reviewer I have placed order (for 3rd time now) and it is accepted then suddenly cancelled with refund saying Our servers had an outage today which has resulted in us not capturing the frame specification correctly. I am now very suspicious that it feels like it must me some sort of scam. Unfortunately I wont try again now

I've bought lots of frames from them in the past and have never had a problem but in the most recent order the online calculator completely mangled the measurements, resulting in a frame that was far too big. I queried the order and was met with a very glib and unhelpful response that didn't address my issue and was basically 'LOL! hope that helps :)'.

I will never use this company again. I got what I wanted, more quickly and at a far better price, from best4frames instead.

Sized up the frame I needed, then placed order on line & made payment. Within a couple of hours I received an email from the manager stating that due to a server error at their end they had no specific details of my order, so cancelled it with a full refund. I responded with a copy of the invoice, which clearly stated the colour & size ordered. I also went back on the website to find that the frame had now increased in price by £20.
This morning I received an email confirming my refund, which again detailed the full specifications of frame ordered.
Not a trustworthy company & would not recommend them.
Have since purchased elsewhere at a far more reasonable price.

I needed a bespoke frame for a picture and I was really impressed with the service from this company.

I ordered the frame and then read the instructions... my bad lol... but when I contacted the company they got back really quickly and sorted this for me.

I recieved updates on my order which was reassuring and the finished frame is lovely. Couldn't be happier.

I paid for the express services. Met the deadline! And the quality of the frame (938x750) is superb!

I have used PicFrames.co.uk twice and both times have been very happy with the quality that I have received. On my second order one of the frames was a little twisted which meant it did not sit properly n the wall. I sent a mail with a photo of the issue and within 2 days had a replacement frame with no quibbles.

Never again. £60 for the flimsiest, shoddiest frame I’ve ever seen. The wood is thin, cheap and barely holds its own weight, and is painted in a slapdash fashion. I think my 8 year old could have made something better. Will be sticking to local framers after this – lesson learned. Don’t waste your time and money. Service also incredibly slow.

Very happy with my frame. Good quality and well made. It did take a few weeks from order to arriving. Due to covid measures. But worth the wait. Would definitely use them again.

I am very disappointed with the customer service provided by this company. I placed an order on 27th November and paid a big price for 7 items for which a confirmation was sent straight away. Although the order was placed as one order they split the orders in 2 seperate orders. So far, they have only sent 1 item. I have sent 3 requests so far querying about the other order and received a reply only once to say it has been dispatched. I have tried sending emails to explain that only 1 item from order 1 was dispatched and order 2 for 6 items is still showing as order received on their website and no action has been taken yet. They are not responding to any of my emails that I sent to them along with a screen shot from their website. They promise a 3-4 days turnaround for canvas orders but it is nearly 3 weeks and they have taken the money but not responding to the items ordered for Christmas gifts...very bad service and not reliable at all. I have requested refund if they cannot fulfill the order but they are not replying back at all, so not sure whether to trust this company at all..they do not take calls even though a phone number is provided so you have no choice but to fill in the online query form to which they do not respond..still waiting for a response as I write this..

Very odd experience with this company. Spent ages measuring and checking my pictures and ensuring I ordered the correct frames. Placed order, received confirmation. Next day got an email saying they were cancelling my order and refunding me my money with absolutely no explanation at all as to why! I tried calling and there’s an auto message saying all enquiries by email only. So I emailed and again no reply. Why does a company cancel and refund an order when the customer hasn’t asked for a cancellation? I just wanted my frames but looking at the massive proportion of 24% of unhappy people on Trustpilot I’d suggest perhaps this company just isn’t worth wasting your time on in the first place!

I left it late placing this order, it was a frame to put a family drawing in for my wife's birthday. I placed the order on a Thursday, and emailed Picframes the next day to apologise as i needed this before the following Thursday. Mike then called me Monday and said he will make it and post it the same day for me. My parcel arrived Tuesday and i am very happy with the product. Mike thank you so much! great service, amazing product! i recommend this company A1! Great Service

Shocking disregard for customers expectation of quality of order and time wasted.
After going through their online Specifications pages of size, apertures, number of mounts, colours distance between mounts, frames. I analysed ever possible combination to best suit my elvis Presley signed postcard display, everything colour matched and sized appropriately to best display the photograph, postcard and plaque. Ordered and and waited. In the mean time ordered uv protective glass, colour matched plaque, and photograph which was specially printed.
12 days later it arrived.
What a huge disappointment when my frame and mounts came, disappointment isn’t actually the word.
I instantly realised what your shown on the site as to what you have chosen nowhere near matches the quality of what you receive.
First the frame, black frame with gold inner trim, one side of the frame had been very sloppily done, the gold paint which was supposed to be confined to the trim was all along the edge of the black frame
Then there were the mounts, wow!, not only was there white powder handprints on the blue mount but the inner gold mount spacing was way off and very badly over cut.
I contacted picframes with images of what I received, they apologised and showed me the improvements they have made to their machine and showed me a sample,
The sample was even worse than I had already received!, at first I thought they sent me the photo by mistake, this time not only was it very badly over cut, but it looked like it had been done with a blunt knife, and wasn’t even straight!
I contacted them again telling them that the sample was still rough and no mention of the frame? I also asked them whether I am supposed to mask out the frame and re-spray it!
To my complete shock a couple of days later they emailed me to tell me
“We feel the best course of action here will be to refund this order for you as the metallic mounts will always show a slight overcut”
And refunded me.
‘SLIGHT OVERCUT!’
Basically admitting they can’t cut a mount any better and washing their hands of the situation, and totally ignoring the frame issue, with absolutely no understanding of the faith I had in them to send me what I asked for or importance of this order.
I just wanted what I went to the trouble of ordering with some quality control thrown in.

So, if you want to go to the trouble of ordering a specific frame from them with neatly cut mounts, good luck. Nothing but hassle awaits. The frame will be very poor quality and your better off cutting mounts yourself with a butter knife.

Ordered my frame on the 10th June it finally arrived on the 26th June. Website states delivery between 7 - 10 days due to Covid 19. Emailed them twice to ask why it was delayed, ignored twice with no reply at all.

I would like to give 5 stars as the products are of great quality, the website is easy to use, and the customer service is effective enough. Yet I hesitate because my order took 2 months and a little bit to arrive. From other reviews, it seems that the only complaint they receive is their turnaround time. Sometimes it's not so great. So perhaps it is for the best not to use them if you are in a hurry. I was not in a hurry, and therefore despite some concerns on the way, I was happy in the end.

Just received my frame and delighted with the result. Easy to order and professional quality. Will definitely be ordering again.

Apologies for last review on pic frame,there is a blue film over mounts so looks blue!!All is as ordered apologies!
