Had an issue with a water leak and the team were really helping with resolving issues so we could get a fix booked in! Matt and Jo were particularly helpful in resolving my query whilst acting on behalf of the freeholder of our property.
I wouldn't wish Pier Management on anyone
I wish I'd taken the previous reviews more seriously when I'd originally Googled Pier Management and threw in the towel sooner when trying to purchase a Leasehold flat. Every single poor review you see about this company is warranted and if you're trying to buy a Leasehold property and you see Pier Management's name on anything - RUN.
I wouldn't wish Pier Management on anyone.
I was trying to purchase a Leasehold flat and there was a clause about doubling ground rent, that my Solicitor advised we get removed, capped or a Deed of Variation at the very least. The Seller offered to pay more money to compensate for any monies lost from removing this clause. Pier Management are not interested in doing business or negotiating with anyone. As far as they are concerned, they are already getting the ground rent money from the current Leaseholder/Seller. They are quite happy to strangle them with their current lease and not allow them to sell their property without the upmost of complications.

Scammers
Scammers, absolutely awful. They charge extortinate service charges and building insurance which increase in value every year with no explanation as to why the cost has gone up and no transparency as to where the money is going. In the event of urgent repairs they are incredibly useless. Terrible property management company all they do is steal money from leaseholders.

Intimidation tactics

Sending me emails and postal letters to my house every single time I leave a negative review of my personal experience of being a Pier Management customer won't intimidate me into deleting them, and neither will you abusing the report feature on TrustPilot to lie that I am not a customer. The fact I have both hard copy physical letters sent to my home address, and emails, both of which explicitly mention and quote from these reviews, proves that I am a genuine Pier Management customer, and that you are lying when you use the report function to claim that I am not.
If I was not a genuine Pier Management customer, how would you have access to my home address? My home address certainly doesn't appear anywhere on my TrustPilot reviews or profile.

They've been quick and helpful in all my queries, never asked for any additional charges (in contrast to many other experiences during my conveyance journey!), and been very pleasant to deal with. I dealt with Rhys Gillings of Pier Management to renew my lease. He was extremely helpful, and would respond to my many emails often within minutes. He made the whole process much smoother than I was expecting. Always professional, and very efficient. I am very grateful to him.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. I received an email that should not have been sent to me as was not my address at all. Not even in my building. Not even the same county. Broken goodness knows how many dpa laws but not bothered at all. Just spoke to a guy who quite honestly was rude and very off. Really do not care about customer service. Terrible company with an atrocious attitude

The company needs further investigation. What can I say that others have not? How about no data protection when you call them! When you do get asked the ONE piece of data protection in a rude way at the start of the call, you get interrupted and bluntly asked why you are calling and don’t think you will be able to explain to them the reason because they will just keep saying yes and how can I help you, before you have finished your sentence. I deal with GDPR on a day to day basis, I think they need to look up data protection laws. They make their own rules and you have no choice but to follow the line on their polices or, its threats about being pushed out of the home you put down thousands in deposit (leasehold brought). Shame on you Pier Management for treating your customers in such a disgusting way. It’s the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. PACK UP SHOP AND GO HOME.

The literal worst property management company in the world. They don’t upkeep their properties, they have extremely outdated appliances and will hassle you whenever anything needs to be fixed because of their lack of updating old rundown appliances. They act like slumlords vs. a property management company. Stay far away from this company by any means.

Naturally Pier Management staff are not helpful. They don't listen to clients queries or feedback. I have been charged several times for cases that could have been handled better from Pier Management team.
I am giving Pier Management ltd 5 star rating today because a gentleman by the name Reece Scott took his time to listen to something i have been complaining about for the past 2 years and he was able to resolve it within 10mins. In addition, he was very professional throughout the conversation - Thanks Reece and Keep up the good work. I hope your colleagues can learn something from you.
