Don’t go here

Stayed at the hotel Costa Malaga in Torremolinos
For 7 nights horrible hotel ended up staying in room for 3 days with food poisoning and a really bad rash could be bed bugs ? The hotel is very ran down and needs shutting down and revamping, the food is discussing as mainly fish and rice dishes and nothing has labels to say what it is and what food is there is unable to eat burnt or raw, I have never been to such a poor hotel and un helpful staff
Please avoid this place

Hidden fees

We had to pay 60 euros to bring our dog to their hotel in Flaine. This fee was not specified in the pricing overview.

Wouldn’t advise a holiday at their…

Wouldn’t advise a holiday at their Fuerteventura site - OngoMarc. Very poor customer service, hair found embedded into the food, staff shrug shoulders don’t care. Overly processed hot dogs and mushy processed burgers every day for kids meals. When complained asked me what should be on the menu, paying over £3k for all inclusive wouldn’t expect I’d have to suggest the menu for kids. Staff also was very rude and aggressive to my 10 year old girl, first day went into restaurant with bikini to be told can’t go in. Went and got a top, went in and found at least 8 ladies in bikinis put my girl in tears. Very choosy who can and can’t go in. Resort in middle of no where and just a really poor experience. Jet2 sorting but will see what happens.
Take your kids somewhere else trust me very poor.

Disastrous experience with Pierre & Vacances: saved only by PayPal Purchase Protection

I booked a 9-night stay in Sardinia through the Pierre & Vacances website. I received confirmation both from the platform and from PayPal, so everything seemed fine. However, upon arrival, we were told that the booking did not exist and no room had been reserved. (At 10 PM, after a 10-hour ferry trip, with a small child!)

The property, which relies on Pierre & Vacances for booking management but operates independently, told us that without payment confirmation from Pierre & Vacances, they could not accommodate us. They offered us a room only if we paid again the amount already settled.

The next day, the reception informed us that Pierre & Vacances claimed they had never received our payment and therefore had not processed the booking. Despite PayPal and my bank confirming that the payment had gone through, Pierre & Vacances insisted otherwise.
I contacted their customer service, but the operator was completely unprofessional and rude, telling me there was nothing she could do.

I sent an email explaining the situation and attaching all payment documentation, but received no response, no call, no support.

I am recovering my money only thanks to PayPal Purchase Protection.
A totally disorganized company, with no customer service and a disrespectful attitude towards clients.
I strongly advise against booking with them. Stay away.

Drunken guests screaming at midnight

I live in the Block in front of the structure in Carnolès. Drunken guests are talking out loud, keep laughing and screaming at midnight. Called the reception for a complaint… none responded.
Seriously disturbing and irritating if someone wants to relax or simply sleep! So not recommended.

One star is generous

One star is generous for this run down, very basic apartment and complex. Laughably, we were given an inventory to make a note of anything that we wanted recorded as ‘damaged’ to avoid any charges…there wasn’t enough space on the single page of paper to list all the faults and issues. Very disappointed as it was not as described and not very clean. Formal complaint lodged, although I don’t feel confident it will be looked at by anyone.

Pierre Vacances Mottaret Meribel

It's not as advertised. Exceptionally dilapidated. Unsuitable for 4 people in an apartment said to be suitable for 5.. at best really only suitable for 2 people. We could not close the bedroom door as the bed prevented the door closing. The apartment block had a strange smell in the lifts and corridors. Upon arrival a leaving guest said sarcastically Good Luck, we know what he meant. There's no room to swing a cat here in these run down over sold apartments

A DREADFUL ZERO STAR!

WE STAY AT PIERRE ET VACANCES IN ORIGO MARE FUERTEVENTURA

DO NOT BOOK THIS HELLACIOUS HOTEL- FULL OF HAZARDOUS AND HORRENDOUS!

THAT CAUSE MY MOTHER AND I TO HAVE A BROKEN LEG!

ON 4TH DAY IN ONE WEEK.

IN DARK, VERY LIGHT ROUGH UNEVEN PATH, MY MOTHER TRIPPED OFF AND BROKEN HER LOWER LEG!

EVERY PATH IN THIS HOTEL IS DAMAGED AND UNEVEN!

AND ME- I SLIPPED ON VOMIT THAT SOMEONE LEFT IT IN FRONT OUTSIDE OF RECEPTION AND BROKEN MY LOWER LEG!

STAFF WASNT VERY HELPFUL.

FULL OF NEGLIGENCE AND BIO-HAZARD.

WE END UP PAID OUT OF OUR POCKET MONEY FOR TAXI TO TWO HOSPITAL! FORTH AND BACK.

THIS HOTEL TRYING CHARGED FEE TO HIRE WHEELCHAIRS! (HOSPITAL DO NOT HAVE A CRUTCHES TO PROVIDED)

THERE NO ACCIDENT/INDICENT REPORT HAD BEEN DONE BY STAFF ON THIS DAY.

NEXT DAY, I WAS DISCRIMINATION BY A STAFF CALLED LUCIANA, WHILE I WAS ON WHEELCHAIR AND TRYING COMMUNICATE ABOUT CCTV VIA PAPER PEN( I'M DEAF) AND THEN ASKED FOR HER NAME, LUCIANA CAME AROUND FROM HER DESK TO ME, GRAB THE PAPER AWAY FROM ME AND BELITTLED ME. SHE WAS VERY NASTY HORRIBLE! MY SISTER WHO ARE HEARING, SHE CAME TO ME TO AID ME AND LUCIANA HAVE AN AUDACITY TO SWITCH TO BE NICE PERSON! VERY 2 FACED!

AND WE HAVE NOT HEARD ANY REPONSE FROM DIRECTOR OF THIS HOTEL JAVIR BUCH SINCE DECEMBER 2022 MEETING THAT HE ASKED MY MOTHER AND I TO ATTEND ON 6TH DAY (LAST OF DAY BEFORE WE LEAVING!)

BEFORE WHEN WE ATTEND MEETING WITH JAVIER, IN RECEPTION, WE SAW A PUDDLE OF SPILLAGE LEFT THERE AND THERE NO HAZARD WARNING AT ALL! TOTALLY NEGLIGENCE!

HE TRYING SWEET US DOWN BY OFFER FREE MEAL AND DRINK WITHIN IN HOTEL WHICH IT COULD HAVE DONE ON SAME DAY WHEN WE HAVE BROKEN LEG.... SO WRONG. AND HE TRY OFFER MAYBE FREE STAY NEXT TIME IF WE COME.

HELL NO, WE DO NOT WANT BE TRAUMATISED OURSELVES IN VERY SAME HOTEL!

AND WE HEARD SOMEONE HAVE A ACCIDENT IN THIS HOTEL'S POOL, DEEP CUT ON HIS FACE AND HE NEEDED A STITCHES THAT COST HIM 500 EURO!

DO NOT BOOK THIS HORRENDOUS APPALLING HOTEL!!!

Superb ski chalet

Superb self catering ski chalet L’Hevana; great facilities, superb location in centre of Meribel, short walk to ski lifts, helpful staff, convenient private parking and real style.

Awful

Awful. No-one answers messages on social media. Have been waiting 3 months for a refund. Have phoned customer service 15+ times. Apparently it is on its way but then today I get another email (about the 5th) asking for my bank details!! No-one replies to emails when I query why they're asking for bank details again. Refund desk don't speak English.

Terrible customer service and they don't keep their promise

If there is a zero star to provide, then I will, but the lowest is one. I was booking my holiday with Pierre et Vacances to go to Pont Royal. The holiday was showing as 50% off. I went through all my contact details, took a snap shot of the holiday showing my days and the total cost. In the meantime, my computer crashed, so I couldn't carry on. I logged back in again and because it went past midnight, the holiday went back to the normal price without discount. I, however, had a snap shot of the discounted price showing the correct dates.

I phoned Pierre & Vacances customer services, and they were the most unhelpful. I said if I can speak to a manager and they just said 'NO'. I asked why and said, 'Because you cannot'. Then I asked whether I can have an email address to send a copy of my print screen so that I can benefit from the 'PRICE GUARANTEE' as said in their website (that if I see it lower or the price changes, then if I can provide a copy of the print screen they will give you the price advertised'. ) After half hour on the phone, they given me an email address.

I haven't received a reply from them, even though I asked that I need to book urgently. I now had to book another holiday with a different site.

I am unhappy because I know that the parks are lovely, but if the customer services are terrible, it will make it no better than a shanty town in india.

I would seriously ask Pierre and Vacances to re-consider their way of dealing with customers. If a customer would like to speak with a manger because of a valid reason, then this should be allowed. After all, managers are employees aswell who their job is to help customers when the advisors have no power or further knowledge about a specific subject matter.

Dissapointing.
