Pierre et Vacances 173 Avenue de la…
Pierre et Vacances 173 Avenue de la plage.
Being a resident and living in front of the residence Pierre et vacances in RCM I have to repeat myself once again: it is a total scandal to have to assist to rude guests of the residence who spend their nights getting drunk on their terrace till 1am unbothered screaming and being noisy without any of the residence members realizing how disturbing that is!!!!
Apparently there is no conciergerie at night, none to call when guests are being noisy, rude and lack decency.
Hope this will change
The hotel Puerto in Las Palmas
The hotel in Las Palmas, Puerto de la Luz, offers full credit card payment from arrival in October/November with free cancellation, but charges the credit card in full just two days after booking. A €1.00 cancellation fee is also charged. In my opinion, this seems dubious, as there is no email address in the legal notice. Only "no reply" and phone number are provided. Judge for yourself. In Germany, email information is mandatory in the legal notice.

We turned up at 1am and upon arrival i explained how id accidently left my wallet at Newcastle airport, and requested i come back in the morning once id sorted relevant cards onto GPAY so i could pay the deposit for the two rooms, the Male night receptionist was EXTREMELY understanding and helpful, to the point of telling me to get some rest and come back in the morning, the young lady receptionist that was present when i went in was also EXTREMLY pleasant and helpful also, we got the deposit sorted and let my holiday begin!
rooms were clean and deposit was returned a day before they said it would arrive back into my account!
i have read countless reviews whereas people are complaining about staff being rude?? never happed whilst i was there!! and not willing to talk English?? again not whilst i was there!! they spoke English even when struggling, and also helped me to understand sayings in Spanish!!
all the staff were extremely polite and helpful when asked, so much so that i even gave the lifeguard a lift home when me and my family were going to get some food in!!
the beach is a bit of a walk down then back up a hill, but my 4 year old managed it with ease so any adult can do it ( not sure why people complain so much about walking in extremely nice weather, i've never walked so much in my life ).
the shop is a little pricey but the local lidl is an 8 minute cab journey away and not that expensive to go to, if you're going to stay here and have the means to hire a car i would suggest that is the best way to get around as walking to the shops is not impossible BUT EXTREMELY long and potentially dangerous if you have children of a certain age that does not have road safety in mind when walking.
i have booked my second visit there for next year and will be learning from this years holiday as i enjoyed myself ( EVEN WITH ALL THE WALKING )
if you're reading this and want an extremely smooth holiday plan everything you think you need accordingly as i made the mistake of leaving it until the last minute and found out it was a bit more awkward with a 4 year old than id expected, but again STILL WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT ON THE HOLIDAY.
we rented the car from diamondrentacarspain.com Marie and Colin were very pleasant and more than happy to to give local spots to visit ( tourist attractions basically ) give them a look.
hope this helps happy holidays!!!
Pierre & Vacances didn't take our complaints seriously
We went to the Pestana Miramar Residence in Madeira with Pierre & Vacances on June 7th for seven nights.
On our return we had three valid complaints and Pierre & Vacances have just written them off. We've had about ten holidays with P&V over the last 13 years and we were very upset that when we had a complaint they didn't care. We will never travel with them again. They've lost good customers!
Booked 12 days at Pierre et Vacances in…
Booked 12 days at Pierre et Vacances in Salou. We booked the superior apartment which was immaculate. It consisted of two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, good sized dining area and living area. The outside space was a large roof terrace, on the terrace were 4 loungers, a 4 seater sofa set with coffee table and a six seater dining table with an awning over it. We had four cleaner visits during our stay, Rubbish was removed by the resident and put in the bins outside of the complex which is safe and secure. The pool areas were also spotless and well maintained with sun loungers around. The kids play park was a bit sad, two swings and two bouncy motor bike things. The grounds were very well maintained also. A £200 deposit was required on arrival which was returned back to the card in full on the day we left as long as kitchen was cleaned and rubbish removed, it was! The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The only negative I have is some visitors were noisy, dragging furniture around for no apparent reason and slamming doors and windows with Kids screaming and not being comforted,Very inconsiderate indeed but they were only there a few days, thankfully. We did have a lovely time in Salou and would stay at Pierre et Vacances again.
Bed Bug Infestation
Booked a week with this company at their Horizon Apartment in Benidorm, Spain for Xmas Dec 21-28 2024.
It all seemed fine with apartment till we awoke first morning with blood marks on bed. We couldn’t work out where they had come from as not there on arrival. As the week went on we started to scratch, itch & after speaking to people & google we discovered the bed was infested with bed bugs. They only come out at nite & hide in seams of mattress in the day. It wasn’t until we got home that we discovered the full extent of it all, the bites can take days to show up, we were covered head to toe in bites. In so much pain with itching. Had to wash all clothes on 100 degrees boil wash & throw away our luggage as they can travel on clothes, luggage. A nitemare Xmas week for us.
Unreliable Rental Experience
And we are still waiting for our deposit since July, having called and emailed multiple times. Pierre vacance Mandillieu Cannes. The contact has been terrible, and doing this to many tenants is quite profitable for them. I understand that tenants eventually think, "Forget it, too much hassle." In our case, €400 is not something I’ll let go of, and I will keep pursuing it. So don’t book a vacation here!!!
Trying to contact Le Thabor, Valmeinier re car park height restrictions.
To establish which vehicle we use to drive to Le Thabor, Valmeinier 19/1 to 26/1 2025, enquiry made of P&V regarding any height restrictions at any car parking facility.
Contact numbers c/o P&V for Le Thabor do not respond other than a very quick French voicemail - I leave many messages asking for the information above, the P&V e-mail address gives fails...however after some time one number, given to me by P&V, does respond in English from a P&V hotel in Flaines!! Flaines tells me that Le Thabor is closed until late November. I need to know which vehicle `I can use before then to book XChannel crossings etc. Next enquiry to P&V I'm told P&V cannot contact Le Thabor at all???!!! After much delay in P&V understanding what is going on a 'senior manager' confirms that Le Thabor is closed until 14th December!!! 14/12 is too late for me to book anything hence I may have to cancel my holiday because P&V/no-one apparently can speak to Le Thabor and ask a simple question regarding car park heights. Unbelievable, verging on incompetent and I hope this may galvanise somebody to ask a simple question.
Terrible experience at Julia Augusta (Pierre&vacances)
I would like to share my experience of our staying at the hotel. The reservation process of the travel network is quite convenient. The Pierre&Vacancies company itself has an excellent reputation and reviews. But there is an issue about this particular hotel. The service is terrible and unfriendly to customers. Moreover receptionist was demanding to pay 50 euro in cash during check out for room cleaning, they asked to pay in cash without providing any invoice/document for payment. By the way the room was not cleaned during 9-day stay at the hotel. The security online deposit for the hotel stay was returned by the company Pierre&Vacancies, but a week later it was debited from the account by the !!!hotel without any reason. Therefore, a bank transaction dispute will be opened to return the deposit.
Appalling Management & Administration. Customer Service non existent.
Stayed at Pierre & Vacances, Green Beach, Port En Bessin Huppain for 6 nights.
When we booked this property we notified them that we would arrive late. They responded saying that it would not be a problem and would let me have key codes. Lea from reception rang me a week before we were due to go and again confirmed that key codes would be provided on the day. On the day we set out for the holiday, I texted the accommodation asking for the codes. We arrived in France (Beauvais airport) about 16:30 hours on 2/9/24 and had then to collect luggage and pick up a hire car. We then had a 150 mile drive to Port En Bessin along the A13, avoiding toll roads. When we reached Caen, the main road was closed and we were diverted. This caused further delays, and we did not arrive at the property until about 23:00 hours. When I checked my phone, we had not received any codes from the accommodation. I rang the out-of -hours number twice, only to find it was out of service. By now, it was after midnight and we had no choice but to sleep in our car without access to toilets etc. I complained to reception on 3/9/24 and showed them my text and call logs on my phone. The matter was referred to the manger who refused to refund one night's accommodation of our 6 night stay. He said that, as we booked with Booking.com, I should take the matter up with them. I did so, only to be told by Booking.com that the accommodation were not responding to their messages. To date, I have not received a partial refund. The management and administration at this property is appalling - Complaints are simply ignored and there is an attitude of utter complacency.
I give one star to add a review to say…
I give one star to add a review to say this company has give the worse service ever. I booked an apartment and ask them a question that was important to go. The answer the question 24 h before I had to pick up the key, I had to call lots of times , spoke with different people, very unhelpful and no body shorted the problem, I asked to go to pick up the keys and they didn’t let me, they didn’t let me to change the days for another or anything. Very unhelpful and I lose the money, no body care about you with this company. I don’t recommend at all. I am very very disappointed, the holiday it’s a happy time and they creat me stress, make lose my time and my money.
The worst possible experience
Overall the worst possible experience, avoid this place at all costs! Would give 0 stars if I could!
We arrived for a 4 day stay two years ago and the whole place was a building site, despite advertising an amazing pool and beautiful facilities on their website upon booking, we arrived and the pool was under construction and most of the other facilities were closed or out of bounds due to the time of season. When it came to dinner, all the restaurants on site were also closed or under construction, we ended up having to make do with what food we had left over from our journey and some supplementary snacks we brought from the shop. When we then went to put our toddler to bed after what had so far been a disaster of an afternoon, the cot provided had some blankets laid over the bare wooden slats, no mattress, I asked at reception for a cot mattress and they said they had none. We ended up leaving immediately and had to book a last minute hotel 45 mins away as that was the nearest we could find so last minute, our toddler ended up going to bed hungry and very tired. To add insult to injury they never refunded us the £800 we paid for the stay as they claimed they had made it clear in the T&Cs that the pool was under construction and that we left by choice (obviously we had no choice given there was nowhere for our child to sleep!). Overall, I would say the whole experience was borderline illegal!
Needless to say, we will never be returning to Belle Dune or any other Pierre et Vacances location, and will strongly advise others to seek alternatives too.
Rude staff in Pierre&Vacances Roses,Spain.
The room was fine and v clean but the food both breakfast and dinner were of a poor standard and Most of all the staff in the dining room who were serving the tables were the rudest I have ever met.

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment in andorra through central switchboard number requested no.bunk beds as we are 3 couples..Messaged the email and messaging service in resort no reply for 2 weeks leading up to book
ing.
Telephone calls ignored.
On arrival given 3 bedroom property with bunk beds.
Reception staff unhelpfull
Gave no information about the apartment despite asking for it.
Kept telling us to come back as she could do nothing and it was down to us to sort.
We booked through pierre vacance but they hadn't sent information through re requirements
Really poor customer service from booking team not added to in resort.
Make sure you get everything you need on email.
They do not respond to thier messaging service.
Make sure when booking you get clear confirmation of your requirements and get them to email it.
In our case despite numerous calls to the UK booking team nothing was added to our booking and the team at the residence we booked did not respond to messaging or email.
Sending SPAM e-mails
Bad experiences and bad service
What you have to remember is this has become a crooked company and they have no money. We have let our property through P & V for years and they refuse now to honour their commitments.

I strongly advise against staying in their apartments in Courchevel. We were robbed at night with locked doors from the inside. It was done very professionally with no traces left. The thieves took only watches and valuables.
4 star resort, would struggle to give it 1 star.
Badly in need of refurbishment, so called superior deluxe villas are really poor and should be referred to as shabby apartments.
All pathways are damaged making them VERY dangerous especially for small children.
Almost no entertainment + room only big enough for 200 maximum people, impossible to get seats unless you sit down 2 hours before shows start.
Pool area very good but again only sufficient sunbeds for a couple of hundred people who queue to put towels on sunbeds 1 hour before opening (even though signs state "no reserving sunbeds, towels will be removed" but they never are.
Miles from any civilisation and they take a 200 euro deposit immediately from your account on arrival (not a holding deposit) which we are still waiting to be refunded.
Staff however are excellent, buffet restaurant is OK if you are willing to queue for 10/15 minutes.
All Inclusive is a con as it only includes the buffet restaurant, only 1 other restaurant on site (Italian) and it is payable and quite expensive

I paid 200 euros on checking in and they said they would refund my bank .this was in June 23 .I still have not received my refund.i even sent them a registered letter and had no reply.the lifts stopped on every floor.no one there.the reception staff are very arrogant.we arrived around 2pm hoping our rooms would be ready and we were left waiting until 5pm.

Checked out of our room early 30th August. Room was left spotless, a week later we are still yet to receive our €200 deposit! Was told it would have been done that day!!
