The bakes were beautifully packaged with a chilling agent so the afternoon tea arrived really fresh. All the goodies tasted as good as home made. It was a generous variety of savoury and sweet items for two people.

First time ever we were disappointed with the afternoon tea for 2 box
Cakes looked promising however didn’t deliver on flavor, the gingerbread only seemed to be present in the crumb topping- blue icing on the red velvet cake huge mistake it tasted blue ! Scones were unfortunately dry The savory content was good as one would expect

I was given a Piglet's Pantry hamper for Christmas. Everything was outstanding 🤩 each cake and savoury was definitely a cut above. Thank you!!

Ordered a Vegan afternoon tea in November for a December delivery - it came promptly on the specified day. Upon opening it was packed well and looked fantastic. The items were all delicious - my favourite was the mini tartlets - tasty! I have been eating the contents over a few days - they have kept perfectly fresh in my fridge - and all have been tasty and great quality.
Overall a great experience.

As a consumer of Piglets Pies on a Saturday afternoon at the football I am disgusted and horrified to learn that the meat and chicken in their pies is HALAL.
I wrote several emails to them asking them consider sourcing a different supplier or at least be transparent by putting 'HALAL' on their packaging so their customers could have the choice on whether to purchase or not.
They were resistent to both suggestions.
I will never ever buy another product from them. Goodbye
***In response to Piglets Reply below to this review. I am in possession of an email from them that clearly says their meat IS HALAL. If there was on option on Trust Pilot to attach a screenshot of this I would. Either way they have lied and cannot be trusted.

Sad to learn that the meat products are halal and not advertised as such. Will not purchase in future.
Animal welfare is NOT at the top of the agenda in religiously slaughtered meat as it is EXEMPT from the regulations despite your claim. The animal is either conscious or semiconscious whilst its throat is slit and it is bled to death.

Box arrived damp given time of the day as the fridge pack had melted and leaked onto the box. Contents of the box were misplaced also due to rough courier handling

The afternoon tea for two which arrived today was excellent.
It arrived in good time was well packed and the variety and quality of the food was very good.
There was more than enough for two, we may have started a new Christmas tradition.
An excellent service. I will certainly recommend Piglet's Pantry.

I’ve ordered product from Piglets Pantry many times before and always been pleased. However, the on line ordering process is just awful. I wasted an hour on my iPhone and iPad trying to get the details correct. Previous orders were still in the basket so had to be deleted and it was impossible to enter my credit card details. Eventually I gave up and called customer service to place the order. I was told they were having problems with their website!! No kidding. Last time I ordered was June 2025 and had exactly the same problem. I’ll think twice about using this business again.

My wife and I were given an afternoon tea as a present in December 2024 but we have delayed doing anything about it until now as my son was also in receipt and he reported unfavourably. Anyway we bit the bullet and ordered and the box arrived last week the administration is fine but the food wasn't, The sausage rolls went in the bin after one bite the scones were flacid but edible whilst the cakes were so sweet I expected to develop instant diabeties. The best things about the tea were the pots of jam and the little tubs of clotted cream, Having now checked the price on line the tea was extortionately priced for what actually arrived. I would suggest this is not a present to impress.

I spoke to a lady called Laura today regarding an issue with a voucher for afternoon tea ordered through buyagift.com (who were awful to deal with).
Laura of piglets pantry though was really friendly, professional and efficient. She quickly sorted out the issue for my mother who is now excitedly awaiting her afternoon tea to arrive.
Customer service at its best!

All the food, sweet and savoury were delicious, and enough for next day too. I invited a friend to share with me and we were both delighted.

I ordered and afternoon tea to be sent to my grandson but unfortunately put the wrong postcode, although the complete address without the code was 100% correct. The parcel never arrived, my efforts to contact DHL with the correct postcode were ignored and Piglets Pantry refused to contact them or do anything else to help, saying the error was my fault and they weren't prepared to do anything to resolve the issue. Beware, they've taken my money and supplied nothing, they could do it to you too.

Was lovely to find a company that provided exactly what we wanted. The chosen "hamper" went down an absolute storm with my father in law. Highly recommend and will definitely be using Piglet's Pantry again.

The traditional afternoon tea box was a gift. It arrived on time and was well packed including ice packs. The food was really good, I particularly liked the sausage rolls, they were huge and full of meat with a hint of spice.
