I was gifted a voucher from my work colleagues and have been waiting for the opportunity to use it for afternoon tea for two. I initially had a problem with ordering as the voucher wasn’t working. I phoned Piglets and a lovely lady went through ordering for me - perfect!
We had our afternoon tea today and oh my word it was amazing. I have had them before and also gifted to friends. It arrived on the day it was ordered for and we decided to have it on Saturday (today). I shared it with my son.
He had both the quiches. He in return gave me both his Scotch Eggs (I like the meat and not the egg so he had those!) and I was blown away at how large they were! There is no other Scotch Egg that I have come across yet which compares to the Piglets one.
The Sausage Rolls were huge!!!! I could have eaten half of one but after the Scotch Egg meat I didn’t think I could manage it so gave it to my son. I do intend next time to keep one for myself! Lovely scones with clotted cream and raspberry jam (my son gave me his and I am having it tomorrow as I managed to eat mine!). A lovely cuppa too.
That leaves us the loaf cakes to eat and had to be fair and let him have the Lemon Sponge Cake and Carrot Cake while I have the Victoria Sponge and the other Carrot Cake. Secretly I wanted his Lemon Sponge Cake but it’s not fair to leave him with two of the same flavour cakes. So that will be more tea and some tasty cakes!
The quality of an afternoon tea from Piglet’s Pantry is exceptional. I am now thinking of buying some Scotch Eggs and Sausage Rolls. We have decided that in the future we will be purchasing another afternoon tea and can’t wait. If you haven’t tried them yet I strongly encourage and recommend you do so! Thank you to my colleagues and Piglet’s Pantry for an amazing treat!
Update: I have since ordered 2 boxes of Scotch Eggs and 1 box of Sausage Rolls!

The service firstly was so quick and items so well packed
The cakes - the carrot cake, rose cakes and lemon cake were so moist and tasty 😋
The scones were equally so so good
Not much a fan of the sausage rolls and the egg scotch was very good but could have been smaller in size
The quiche was just perfect
Had such a lovely afternoon with the vegetarian option
Would order again for sure 👌

This was sent to me by work colleagues whilst I was recovering from surgery. It was a lovely surprise and I can say the products were absolutely delicious and the selection was vast. I've also purchased one for a lovely friend for her birthday. This is going to be delivered tomorrow and I know she will be over the moon with it.

I ordered a vegan afternoon tea for two from Piglet's Pantry for my husband's 30th birthday. It was meant to be the main part of his birthday celebration. I followed the company’s advice to book delivery for the day before the event to avoid any issues. Despite this, the delivery never arrived.
DHL, their chosen courier, first told me it would come between 12.50 and 13.50. Hours after this slot had passed I had to call them myself to find out what was going on. They told me the driver was new and not following the correct procedures but assured me the package would still come that day. It never did.
My husband and I missed his entire birthday gathering with friends as we were stuck at home waiting for a package that never arrived. The food was perishable so Piglet’s Pantry’s own website says it should be destroyed if it is not delivered on time. Yet the following day DHL kept telling me the package was still on its way despite me calling them again to explain it was no longer safe to deliver.
This ruined two days of celebrations and left me without the birthday gift I had planned. Piglet's Pantry has so far refused to offer both a refund and a replacement which is the bare minimum I would expect for such a poor experience. Simply refunding me for something I never received does not make up for the upset and stress this situation caused.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company based on this experience.
Despite piglets pantry’s condescending response to this review they have done nothing to rectify the situation or make up for the stress caused by using their company still. Clearly have no care for their relationship with customers

Not happy, bought a coupon £22.50 for an afternoon tea for my wife's birthday, went to use the code - "code has expired". Tried to "chat" with them, can't connect hence this review.
Edit
Very happy now, spoke to a very nice person at Piglets Pantry - she explained there was an issue and she sorted it out instantly

Ordered so it was due to arrive the day before I needed it as instructed on the website. It arrived a day late warm and soggy and had to throw it all in the bin. Waited in til 8pm to receive the order on the day it was supposed to arrive and then had to rush about late at night to sort an alternative birthday lunch as received notification at 8pm it wasn’t being delivered. Received a refund but no gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused. It’s apparent from other reviews on here that they know they have issues with the courier but still continue to use them.

Absolute rubbish.
Will not except my card details for delivery, keeps telling me my expiry date is wrong.
It certainly isn't.
Gave up on the end.
Typical red letter crap, enjoy the money that was spent for the afternoon tea.
Rip off merchants.

Piglet's Pantry have been my must-have afternoon tea packages for the last two summers. Their food is delicious, their service is impeccable, and whenever I want to treat myself and my friends/family, Piglet's Pantry is one of the first things I think of :)

5 stars for the service, reliability and the joy your products brings to my grandchildren in the UK. I live in Australia so it is an absolute delight for me to still make their birthdays special via the delivery your food. The variety is such that each item is a favourite of at least one member of the family. As they shift around the country-side with some of the children now going to different universities and the parents relocating, your products are now delivered to new locations, just as reliably as they were 8 years ago to one location.

Excellent food and so much of it, did us two days! With an added advantage of both being able to have a drink and enjoy in the sunshine

Everything was lovely on the whole. The quiches were all nice but all tasted quite similar. The cakes, in general were a little bit dry except the carrot cake but all were tasty. As a family we usually suffer with indigestion after pastry but not this time.

Disappointing quality
I loved the presentation box and delivery was good. The vegetarian rolls were lovely. However, the cakes were tasteless, I thought they could be better quality. Despite it being an extremely hot day all food arrive fresh!

You sent me the Wrong voucher number ,
( it had expired) so by the time Groupon & yourselves sorted it out, I had to wait till the following week to send my VERY LATE SUPPRISE, Birthday 🎂 supprise Afternoon tea .
Food is always good 5☆☆ .
Just your ordering needs to be kept up to date, an not out of date .

The people that received the tea were overwhelmed and said how much there was to eat and what a lovely surprise it was

Another box of delicious goodies from Piglets Pantry has gone down a treat!
Extremely high quality, scrumptious delights. We have tried other afternoon tea gift boxes and they trail behind these for sure.
You won’t be disappointed 😋 🐷

Love that you can get afternoon tea delivered and it was mostly amazing! The sausage rolls and scones were incredible especially! (Scones like no other - beautiful!). The only reason giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the Victoria sponge let it down, not sure what icing was on the top but tasted fake and didn’t leave a nice aftertaste. The cake itself though was nice! Will 100% be ordering more scones in the future!

We won a Competition with ITV Win on 10/12/24, and the experience we had with Piglets Pantry was outstanding. We dealt with Lara Cusack throughout
and I must admit the service was impeccable. I ordered different items for us family and friends so they could enjoy our win and we continued to enjoy until July. We are still shielding and this was so lovely to be pampered as we are unable to go out for an afternoon tea, again we would recommend this family fun business. xx

I recently purchased an afternoon tea product for my sister’s birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. My sister’s feedback was that the items were greasy, had an unpleasant smell coming from the box, and the flavours were extremely bland. This was certainly not the quality I expected.
I contacted the company directly to raise my concerns and was offered a discount on a future purchase. However, I declined, as I have no intention of ordering from them again based on this experience. I genuinely expected that a partial refund would have been considered, but I was told that without photographic evidence, this wasn’t possible. Strangely, a discount was offered regardless – which I found contradictory. If my complaint was valid enough to warrant a discount, why not a partial refund?
Overall, I found both the product quality and the customer service to be poor. I wouldn’t recommend this company based on my experience.
