Booking Confirmations lacking booking detail
I’m disappointed by the lack of transparency in Pink Moon’s post‑booking information. Once you receive your booking confirmation, it only shows a single line of detail — in my case, simply “Tipi Terrace”. There is no breakdown of the extras selected at the time of booking, no itemised list, and no way to view this information afterwards.
I have updated this as have now returned from the festival - all was fantastic and I will continue to use Pink Moon it's good value but having spoken to our neighbours , we were not the only ones that felt the fact that there was no power in the tents was not clear. Pink Moon do a whole lot great , but please take note that we are paying a lot of money and the booking experience and being clearer is important . We spent more time at the festival than we would gave liked at the charging point.
This means that if you want to query anything post‑booking, you can’t. The only way to protect yourself is to take screenshots of every step during the booking process — something I didn’t do because I assumed I would receive a proper itemised confirmation, as is standard practice across the UK travel and hospitality industry.
I had to email Pink Moon to request a detailed summary of what I had paid for. What I received was a free‑typed message rather than an official itemised invoice or booking breakdown. This felt unprofessional and left me questioning the accuracy of the information and the reliability of the booking process.
Overall, the lack of transparency and the inability to review what you’ve actually purchased after payment has been taken makes the experience feel unnecessarily opaque. It has affected my trust in the company, and I hope they improve their post‑booking documentation to meet the level of clarity customers reasonably expect.
UK Regulations: What You Are Entitled To
UK consumer law requires traders to provide clear, itemised information about what you are buying — before and after the contract is made.
They require the trader to give you:
A clear description of the goods/services
The total price, including all taxes and fees
Any additional charges
The main characteristics of the booking
A durable copy of the contract information after purchase
A “durable copy” means something you can store and refer back to — email, PDF, or written confirmation — and it must include all the information you were shown before paying.
A single line saying “Tipi Terrace” does not meet this standard if extras were selected and charged.
Great facilities which were unfortunately spoilt by inconsiderate people
We stayed in a deluxe bell tent at the In It Together festival in Wales. A really lovely tent with comfortable mattress. Great toilet and shower facilities. Also appreciated the dedicated pot wash area and the Dyson hairdryers in the pamper area. All well presented and cleaned regularly.
Unfortunately all this was spoilt by a couple of ignorant guests in two neighbouring tents who had no consideration for others. During the day they played their bluetooth speakers at full volume (sometimes two competing with different music) and during the night played podcasts and spoke loudly. We were unlucky, as walking around other parts of the Pink Moon site everyone else seemed to be quietly enjoying the facilities - harmoniously cooking and chatting. Such a shame that wasn't our experience.
In it together
Stayed at pink moon at the in it together festival. I will always return to them. Clean friendly and most of all safe for our 10 year old. I had no concerns and the tent was perfect
Really does make the festival…
Really does make the festival experience that bit more magical . The staff are always so friendly and helpful and the last 5 years Iv used pink moon, it’s always been a very inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.great base for some downtime inbetween the acts and all amenities are top quality!
We have just stayed with pinkmoon for…
We have just stayed with pinkmoon for the first time in the init together festival and this was a game changer. Everything clean showers toilet camp site and the tent was plenty of room clean with electric ( we didn't expect) the team were fantastic highly recommend and we will didn't be using again. 😁😁
T&Cs found not to be legal
Following on from my recent review, I have to say the lady I spoke to on the phone was probably one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered in a service-based industry. Phrases such as “life doesn’t work like that” during a customer complaint were genuinely astounding.
For anyone interested, Amex upheld two chargebacks after reviewing all of the evidence. This was based on the fact Pink Moon retained over £1,400 in cancellation charges whilst also reselling the tent at full price.
It’s very rare I leave reviews like this, but the way this matter has been handled - both commercially and from a customer service perspective - has been incredibly disappointing. The complete lack of empathy and professionalism throughout the process has genuinely shocked me.
For anyone in a similar position, it is worth knowing that credit card providers and the small claims process may independently review whether cancellation charges are fair and proportionate in the circumstances. Where tickets have been resold Pink Moon are NOT entitled to keep half of the cancellation charge and can ONLY charge an appropriate admin charge.
Poor customer service
The website doesn't have the clearest of details so called their contact number. The lady was so unhelpful and before even asking any questions, informed me all the info is on the website for the State Fayre. Unfortunately, it was a frustrating call as I just wanted some clarification, especially when I'm paying over £1500 for tickets and camping.
Beware
Beware. Sorry to spoil the party! In March, I booked a campervan pitch for Heritage Live at Sandringham this August. Pretty expensive for a campervan pitch but we wanted to stay over. I paid 50% with the balance due in July. Unfortunately, more than three months in advance, we have had to cancel. Do I get a refund? No way! Well, 50% of the full price (not what I had paid), so nothing. I think that is pretty exorbitant, given the length of notice, and for a pitch they are likely to resell.
Oh yes, as they pointed out, cancelation charges are set out, tucked away in lengthy terms and conditions, themselves tucked away at the foot of their website.
Not impressed. So buyer beware!
Not suitable for disabled people
One disabled toilet for all of campsite - discriminatory.
Disabled shower floor faulty and caused flooding
Dirty food and drink all over campsite
Access paths blocked by bags of linens
Made a complaint - respond showed no understanding of the issues I experienced and only offered to stay with them again! Would not recommend - especially for disabled people
more toilets and coffee vans
very friendly, helpful staff. Good location. more coffee vans and toilets needed though
Thoroughly enjoyed
As a group of 4 very mature ladies we decided to make one last trip to Electric Picnic and chose Under The Stars for our accommodation. We were delighted with the comfort, the showers and clean toilets were very welcome as was the daily hot breakfast. Everyone of the Pink Moon staff were friendly and super helpful. We would especially like to single out Jen who was very supportive and helped us resolve our transport issues even when the issue was not created by Pink Moon. I cannot recommend the Under The Stars experience highly enough.
This was our second year staying with…
This was our second year staying with pink moon (cosmic avenue) at EP. Our first experience was exceptional hence why we booked with them a second time around. However, I'd be lying if I said we had an amazing stay this year! Was so disappointed at how dirty our tent was when we got inside. On top of that, there were so many bugs inside and I noticed that there was a hole on one side of the tent where they must have been getting in from. The sheets and pillows were a great addition if they were clean. There was also a lack of food vendors and coffee trucks in our campsite so the queues were horrendous. Overall, our second experience wasn't as we expected and improvements could be made to the tents. The staff were amazing and friendly although I think they need to ensure that the toilets are cleaned more often than they were next time around.
Staff were fantastic
Staff were fantastic. Listened to any issues and helped where they could. Tents were first class. Tiolets and showers were kept clean and were colse for us. Some delay with breakfast on Saturday, but staff kept open till everyone had breakfast. Only downside was, we parked in the Red car park, it took 90mins to pull our trolly through all the campsites to get to our tent. Not down to Pink Moon but maybe a deal could be done with EP to book places in the Yellow car park for those who need to be closer, or other transport for older attendees. Would had gladley paid for closer parking if we had known the distance to the site.
Can’t wait to stay again
Can’t wait to stay again! Campsite was very clean, toilets and showers were constantly being cleaned and monitored. Friendly staff and security. Only down fall was not enough facilities like toilets could have done with some more stalls and showers accross the road at moonlight meadows in Stradbally. If you know you know. Vendors were very expensive for the price you pay to stay in pink moon they should monitor pricing in their camps especially if they want to keep customers happy. Food is god with hangovers, word of mouth is a killer. the more affordable something is the more customers the vendors will get. Now this is not pink moons fault but it should be looked at.
Great EP experience
Great EP experience. Stayed in harvest moon very comfortable beds. Would recommend to others! Hopefully get to stay again soon.
Best weekend ever and pink moon made it…

Fantastic facilities and most friendly…
Fantastic facilities and most friendly staff. A game changer for the festival experience.
10/10
Well organised, cleanliness, felt safe as I went alone, value for your money
Excellent facilities and location.
Excellent facilities and location.
Friendly staff at EP 25
Friendly staff, The Golf buggy to reception, the easy access to the camp site from the main stage.
The Queuing system for breakfast on the first morning could have been better if a few changes were made faster. Like moving the toaster to another location.
They waited to long to make simple changes but by then we were waiting over 30 minutes. Great breakfast.
Our sheets on all our beds were wet. The staff put it down to the dampness in the air but yet the Duvet covers were dry so this could not have been right.
We had a great experience and we'll be booking it again so I really hope that you make things better for Next years experience. Thank you.
