Pizza Punks Newcastle. Painfully slow service. Dirty cutlery on the table. Not a very good atmosphere. When we sat down most of the other tables did not have any food. Waited 40 minutes for a sorry lo... See more

Our server Rose was really polite and nothing was too much trouble for her!
Liverpool: good food, poor service
Went to the Liverpool restaurant as we love the Newcastle one.
We were about 15-20 mins early to our booking which they accommodated, but no one came to take our order for ages and didn’t get the starters til an hour and an half after sitting.
It was strange that they brought our dips out to have with our mains, at the same time as our drinks so they were just sat at room temp for well over an hour and a half whilst waiting for food .
The staff didn’t seem to be around to take empty dishes away or replenish drinks or anything, for ourselves and other tables. We saw people have to stand up and go to the bar to ask for someone to take their order.
We left the restaurant over 2 hours after arriving due to the slow service and felt it was a bit of a cheek to add a service charge of over a fiver to the bill when only two people dined and we had to pester them for drinks and to take dishes away.
Food is divine so if the service improves will be perfect. And the staff were lovely when they did interact with us, I think they are just stretched very thin.
Really enjoyed our visit to the Leeds…
Really enjoyed our visit to the Leeds restaurant. Served by Grace who was super smiley and friendly!
Two pizzas (1 x Salt & Chill Chicken and 1 x MYO) and two drinks - all good!
Me and my friend went there on Tuesday…
Me and my friend went there on Tuesday lunch time (Nottingham). First the fire alarm was going off for like 20 min. I have ordered a glass of rose, was told that they don’t have the one I wanted so I opted for different one. 5 min later the waiter came back and said that they also don’t have this one… after 45 minutes of waiting for our pizza one staff member came over to our table and said that our pizzas are being prepared now but they have run out of one of toppings… the restaurant was more than half empty, but we could see lots of takeout order being picked and only one person preparing the pizzas. Very poor service, but the pizza was nice when it eventually arrived after over one hour. Will not come back there.
Poor service but the food was nice
Poor service but the food was nice
And they sneek a service charge onto your bill which should be optional
If I rate the service I leave a tip not for it automatically be put on the bill
( Leicester city centre )
Rubbish waited over an hour for food…
Rubbish waited over an hour for food walked out gas ran out on the oven fire alarms going off never again at the nottingham one. Night ruined staff didn't have a clue
Terrible service from start to finish
Terrible service from start to finish! Forgot drinks, waited 20 mins. Requested bill, overcharged and when questioned we were treat like it was our fault, the manager had the worst customer service skills considering he made the mistake!!! Overall terrible! Newcastle branch.
Waste of money
Customers are not welcome. Waiting one hour to be served with the tables empty. Pizza with no taste and row. This at Newcastle.
Never again !
I went to Pizza Punk in the past and it was great . My last two experience in Newcastle have been horrible . Lazy and unfriendly staff. Yesterday with the restaurant empty we had to wait 45 minutes to get 2 glasses of wine . We received the pizze after 1 hour no well cooked , one completely wrong and one missing half the ingredients . They don’t care about customers . They should hire experience staff and respect customers . They are pushing people away .
Took far too long sat waiting for over…
Took far too long sat waiting for over an hour when there is no one here. Foods nice tho after the 10 years it takes to come.
We had the best time at Pizza punk
We had the best time at Pizza punk in Leeds today! Our waiter was Will, really nice and patient with our fussy selections. The place is really cozy and it was all super cost effective :)
Best pizza in Leeds!
Went to the Leeds restaurant with my two teenage kids. The pizzas are the best in Leeds, we all loved what we had. Service with the drinks is very slow though, if it had been quicker I'd probably have ordered more.
We will still return though.
Food was brilliant and staff even better
Food was brilliant and the staff member that served us (Charlie) at the Durham restaurant was even better. Charlie was so attentive, great at making recommendations and definitely made the night even better for myself and group of girl mates that were there for our Christmas night out.
Best Pizza Experience
Totally love the atmosphere and decor of this place! It was a new place in Nottingham City Centre.
We was seated quickly and left to choose our food. The waitress that served us was so nice and really helped to answer any questions. I think her name was Dainey or Daisy but she was awesome and made mine and my partners experience so much better. The food was amazing and had no fault with it at all and love how you can have unlimited toppings! Was so good we had to go back a couple of days later!
Never in a month of Sundays would we go back!!!!
We had a table of 4 booked at the Glasgow restaurant St Vincent Street on Friday the 2nd of December 16.30. The restaurant had around 7 tables with customers so it wasn't that busy. When booking you are told that you have the table for 90 minutes. at 17.15 we had to ask if someone would take our drink order. The guy taking the order really didn't have a clue what he was doing. So we ordered 4 drinks and at the same time ordered food. When it comes to Gluten free and asking advice to the waiter his knowledge was NONE existent as is the information relating to GF on the menu. Starters were going to be chicken wings. two options on the menu, "sorry we don't have any" was the reply. Anyway, moving on, all food ordered. Drinks came a little later brought by a girl this time, well 3 drinks came. We asked where the other pint of lager was. After checking the drinks order which she had in her hand her reply was "oh I forgot to pour that". Easily rectified but now staring to get irritated. Another 15 minutes or so passes and we had to ask where our starters were. By this time more waiting staff have started their shift so were are served by another girl. She popped off to check and low and behold our pizza's turn up. We pointed out that we hadn't had our starters yet. Right up until this point has been a complete and utter shambles, which we had pointed out on a few occasions. So the bill arrives at the end of the night and there is an £11.50 service charge which they have automatically applied. I challenged the waitress on this charge and reminded her of the shocking service that we had received. She did offer to remove the charge but as most of the issues weren't her fault as she had not long started her shift so we decided to leave it. The toilets which are down the stairs along a couple of poorly signed corridors which are difficult find if its you first visit, isn't ideal. A young girl who was clearly lost had to be shown the way by my friend. Not sure what they do down the stairs as there were 2 door opened with kitchen equipment, maybe industrial dishwashers. Two guys were having a conversation about not allowing the stagnate water to lie there. No idea what was going on. Would we go back? not in a month of Sundays. Most reputable companies that care what their customers think about their visits would monitor sites like Trip Advisor and reply.............don't see any replies from Pizza Punks.
Pizzapunks Nott great service
First time visited Pizzapunks Nottingham and I can highly recommend. Pizza just delicious and fancy cocktails. Great service and friendly staff.
Ordered 12 pizzas for the team office…
Ordered 12 pizzas for the team office session today. 5 arrived, and then another 4 appeared well after deliver time, and 3 went missing through crappy Deliveroo. Overall a terrible experience never to be repeated. Nice pizzas but crap service all round!
Highly recommend Pizza Punks Leeds
Visited Pizza Punks Leeds on Friday tea-time. The staff were all so helpful and friendly but our server Harriett was superb, nice, friendly, pleasant, nothing was too much of a chore for her. I hope the company recognise what a lovely person she is.
The food was absolutely fabulous. No way was I leaving anything on my plate. I love the way they give you a price for a dish and then you can add as many toppings as you want, none of this 50p for this £1 for that, you know the price up front.
Shocking service
A friend of mine was visiting Glasgow from Canada, so we decided to go for some pizza at Pizza Punks on St. Vincent street Glasgow on Saturday 13/08/22. I had never tried this place before and nor had anyone in my group of 4. We hadn't made a reservation but got seated right away which was great, the staff members at the door seemed very nice and friendly.
We got seated and it took almost 20 minutes before anyone asked us if we wanted a drink, by the time someone did ask, we were also ready to order our food. This was a great surprise to the waiter as he wasn't ready for us to order. We ordered 4 pizzas and 3 sides.
We got our drinks pretty quick, although we had to order another round of drinks before we got 1 of our sides.. yes 1 of our sides came before the meal, but only 1 and this was 30 minutes before we got our pizzas. We waited around 50 minutes for our pizzas to arrive without any explanation or even " I'm sorry for your wait ", nothing at all. 10 minutes after out pizzas arrive that's when we then receive our other 2 sides.
All in all the service was shocking, the waiting time was beyond a joke. The pizzas weren't that great, the only thing I could say that was good about my experience in Pizza Punks was the side of Bacon with maple syrup and honey, that was amazing.
