This is absolutley bad site to put your job and use contractors. I put a job and got ripped off down to the bone. The real in-experienced builder who had no idea how to do the job charged me huge amount of money to carry out 3 hour job. Stay away from this web site and do not use any of the trades using his site for jobs. You will save your self hugh amount stress, headache and above all money. The builder on this are not certified by any way or means and do not carry any type insurance. I should checked it first and it bad mistake.

These builders did an excellent job on my drive which involved a large amount of excavation, rebuilding and adding walls, paving slabs and repositioning and rebuilding of the main steps. The groundwork for the block paving, with the installing of a drain across the threshold with a crate soakaway was extensive with correct layers of hardcore and sand. The works were completed in seven days as promised by different teams of groundwork specialists. Super result and it has considerably improved the looks and value of my property.

Great work, would use there services again.

I booked a plumber to replace my shower. He didn't turn up the first two times but appeared on a Sunday in the end.

Plentific staff were helpful to a point but come 6pm on Friday night when I still didn't have a shower the message back said wait until Monday.

THE ONLY reason this is not a -2 star review is because of the way management handled my complaint which i feel was very good to be fair to Plentific.

This organisation delayed my verification 14 days which is quite funnily enough just past the consumer right of a 14day refund.
I had also been miss sold a contract over the phone which after an investigation worked in my favor.
If i were asked my opinion from a fellow trades person on this organisation i would not recommend plentific.

Contractor who contacted me was utterly awful. Paid deposit and contractor hinted I needed to pay remainder so I did, Full of promises to start with and then nothing. After chasing, excuse No1: van broke down in petrol station forecourt. Then after a few days he had clearly forgotten his first excuse, 2nd Excuse: I've had all the windows in my van smashed. I gave up and went to Rated People, got the job done next day !!! Only plus side was that Plentific returned all the money I had paid, quite quickly.

If you're a tradesman please avoid this company I was a carpenter looking for work in a joint this company they promised me that they had loads of work so for two weeks I have no work whatsoever they said there are members of B&Q so I contacted B&Q one day and they have never heard of them this company is dodgy and committing fraud I asked for my money back and they threatened to close my countdown so practically still sitting here no work after two weeks and £50 gone down the drain I'm going to close the account and advise all of the tradesmen to avoid this website delight you promising you loads of work harassing you on the phone every day

I found the experience really positive and pain-free. I've submitted a job for garden maintenance, received several offers, the firms replied to my questions fairly quickly and I booked the one that seemed most sensible. I paid a deposit, the guy came to do the garden work 2 days later and job done! Very fast and easy to use plus I didn't need to get cash as I paid through plentific. One happy customer here

I chose to contact Plentific because of their much-vaunted guarantee for all work, so I completed the form online asking for damp-proofing contractors. Four names were returned, none of which was verified. As per Plentific's instructions I asked one of them for verification and he immediately broke contact. I queried this with Plentific, as the guarantee was important to me and I had understood that they covered all the contractors they list. Plentific's answer was as follows: 'Thanks for reaching out. We have new members that need to go through a Verification process and sometimes this takes a few weeks for the Pro to submit all details. This does not mean they are bad companies, but without that in place, we are not able to provide the Plentific Guarantee. We will follow up with this Pro and also get you a few more damp proofing companies to reply'. Almost 2 months later, following online conversations with Plentific and having received a telephone call from them informing me that they had found a contractor and that he would contact me imminently, Plentific has still not provided a single verified damp-proofing contractor.

Months and month after I no longer required and wanted anything from Plentific, they would call, send emails and in general not get no for an answer. I made it clear I want no more contact on so many occasions I lost count. Changing web settings would work for a short time and then somehow you were back on their hit list. Successive consultant who obviously work on commission harass you. Do not go near this mob. Shamefully aggressive.

As long as you go with a verified pro and pay through Plentific, a guarantee is offered. This was key for us as we were worried about going with a tradesman in a new area with the amount of money we'd be spending. When the do it yourself posting of projects didn't yield a too many responses from verified pros (we needed work to start immediately), I rang customer support. Alex was very helpful, making some phone calls to verified pros who he knew would be available on short notice and be within our budget. We had three quotes within 48 hours and the company that we accepted the quote from started 24 hours after the quote was made.

Albion Building Consultants have produced architectural plans for several domestic building projects of mine including a loft conversion, garden annex and two kitchen extensions.
All of these plans have been designed to our specifications, without delay and been passed by council planners without reservation.
