Bought sauna kit. Product is manufactured to a high standard using good quality materials. Delivery service to UK is dire - the delivery company don't have tracking so didn't know where the package was. Polhus were unable to support after dispatch. Delivery company didn't have suitable vehicle or staff to deliver the oversized pallet to the kerb. They just turned up at the house and had no plan after that! Instructions for installation are fine for a builder to follow, up to the point of the rubber roof where details are a bit vague and there's a risk you can install with damp risk. Polhus after-sales support were hopeless in answering questions, not concerned with helping us work out how to install, only interested in not advising anything in case it didn't work and lead to a product return/replacement. All we needed to know was what they thought the standard way to fit parts of the kit were! In the end we just had to make decisions ourselves that mean Polhus are probably not willing to warranty. As the sauna has a specific function, with a designed-in airflow there could be better details from Polhus about how to ensure the roof insulation and cladding should be installed to avoid creating a damp chamber under the roof down the line. Airflow is critical to the function of the sauna and the Polhus design is somewhat unique with air intake coming through the floorboards. This works well but has implications for the flow of air in the room once the heater is on - how the air heats up (unevenly from floor to ceiling) and how you need to fit the exhaust to properly regulate the heat distribution in the room. Polhus don't provide details for this so it's a bit 'suck it and see' which is difficult because it implies making holes in the shed to change vents and moving the heater isn't easy. Kit came with extra wood for walls and sections that required cutting to fit - floor and panelling. Sauna bench wood has proven to be more fragile than the rest of the kit. The advice for painting the raw outside and treating the wood inside after installation aren't great, which is a shame considering there are lots of videos on the website about building the structure. Saunas need specific treatments inside so you'll need to do your own research. You'll need a qualified electrician to fit the power cable to the shed and install the sauna or your buildings insurance will be invalidated. Be aware that an electric sauna heater will require you to bypass the RCD or it will tell your fuse board you're earthing constantly. The sauna unit we bought (Narvi 9Kw) is excellent for the size shed we have. The instructions for installation are in English but not with consideration for English electrical regulations. Your electrician may look at this and say they can't do it, or not understand what's being implied. Be aware of this as you'll need to do your own research here and Polhus will not assist. It seems much cheaper to organise your own labour for building a base and kit installation. We didn't use Polhus service there so can't say how good/not that is. We had specific requirements in the garden that would have meant their earth screws wouldn't have worked so can only say that a standard concrete shed pad plus ventilated deck has been enough for us. Overall, no regrets on how our project has turned out but a bit disappointed with Polhus' after sale support for what is an expensive purchase that they're marketing as a package to DIY consumers, not builders. This is a better option than infra-red, easier on insurance, the environment and building regs than a wood-fired sauna and cheaper than many other options for something much more durable than the barrel-sauna style packs.

“I recently purchased the Sauna Narvik from Polhus, and it has been a fantastic addition to our outdoor space. The assembly process took about a day, and although it required some time, the instructions were straightforward enough for us to follow without major issues. The quality of the sauna is impressive, with durable materials and excellent craftsmanship.
My only suggestion would be for Polhus to provide a bit more detail on the seating layout in the instructions, as it took a little extra time to figure out the best configuration. That said, once we had it set up, it exceeded our expectations. It heats up beautifully, and the space feels both cozy and spacious enough to enjoy with friends or family. I would highly recommend the Sauna Narvik to anyone looking for a high-quality, DIY-friendly sauna. It’s well worth the investment!”

We absolutely love our new greenhouse! The quality is outstanding. The finished product exceeded our expectations, but there are some important things potential buyers should know before getting started.
Assembly Challenges:
The assembly is not for the faint-hearted, even for experienced DIY enthusiasts. The greenhouse comes with a large number of parts, many of which look similar but have slight differences that aren’t clearly highlighted in the instruction manual. This caused some confusion during the build, resulting in having to undo parts of the structure because two sections were placed incorrectly. They were the right size, but a pre-drilled hole needed for another area made the mistake clear only later on. The instruction manual relies heavily on diagrams, and we found that written instructions would have been helpful for clarity. Watching the accompanying video is essential, it provides guidance that isn’t always apparent in the manual alone.
Also note that the location cannot be against a wall/fence, you’ll need access on all sides to be able to fit the glass, as it’s done from the outside.
Suggestions for Improvement:
A few aspects of the greenhouse could be improved to make the assembly process smoother. More holes should come pre-drilled. For example, the base rail for the doors was challenging to drill in place, making this step more complicated than it needed to be. The attachment method for the door handles could be better designed. Ours became loose quickly, and we are considering reinforcing them ourselves. The doors need to align perfectly when closed to achieve a snug fit. Ideally, they could overlap the frame a bit more. Fitting the triangular glass pieces was particularly tricky. It would have helped if the manual specified that the vertical bar should remain loose during this stage.
You will need metal drill bits, special screwdrivers (with a star shape end).
Final Thoughts:
Despite the assembly difficulties, the end result is worth the effort. It took us several weeks due to weather and other commitments, but the finished greenhouse is impressive, much better than we initially anticipated. We’re thrilled with the quality & the ceiling height and look forward to many years of use.
Ps. One tip I would like to add is buying M6 metal loop bolts to add to the roof rail before fitting it in place. I have 6 ceiling loops and use them for fairy lights, foliage & other light weight seasonal decorations - it makes all the difference to be able to decorate, as we are using our greenhouse as an outdoor sitting room.

The kit arrived well packaged and no omissions. The instructions were basic but satisfactory… definitely advise a first time constructor to read and re-read a few times ..and re-look at videos etc. good quality product. Having built this myself with pretty basic diy skills I would certainly recommend doing this yourself as the build/installation option is pretty expensive…. We did get help with the concrete foundation though. The only issue that required troubleshooting was fitting the chimney..the Kivi roof beams limits space and we had chosen a different Karvia wood burner than offered on the site - upgraded to the ‘legend’…looks fantastic though.

Easy to erect. Only needs another pair of hands no and then. Good instructions and good back up via customer relations.
Very much value for money . Used every other day at least.

We love our sauna from our initial enquiry it was a very easy process. The Installation team arrived on time and introduced themselves which instantly put us at ease, They were friendly and worked tirelessly to get the job complete in just one day. They cleaned the area up and Charlie talked us through how to help maintain the building.
This sauna heats up really quick aswel.
We was made aware that the installation does not include taking the left over timber and plastics away and this is not currently a service offered unless requested earlier, which is a little inconvenience but all in all a great service all round.
Superb

The sauna looks nice and all parts arrived as ordered.
There was a little damage to the wood on delivery- better protective covering would have helped.
The extras may not be great value. Roof insulation - do it yourself much cheaper and would probably look better. LED lights buy on amazon- same product much cheaper. Gutter -£35 from B&Q.
I opted for the assembly service. Assembled in around 4-5 hrs- team said it was the quickest one ever completed. The quality of the assembly was poor. If doing again I would employ a local company or DIY.
Generally happy but the quality of assembly has left a bad feeling.

Ordered the sauna, called to confirm delivery date and they assured me it would be as stated when ordering. Waited the 3/4 weeks, no sauna arrived. Called them to check and they said it hasn't been produced and will take another month to delivery. Terrible experience as you can imagine you make arrangement around the build and customer service are terrible.

**Review: Avoid This Sauna Company at All Costs**
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this sauna company, and I feel it's important to warn others before they make the same mistake.
From the start, there were **countless delays** in getting my order. When the delivery finally arrived, **half the items were missing**. It took **weeks of back-and-forth** to arrange replacements, and despite being promised that the replacements would be shipped promptly, they still haven’t arrived.
The worst part is the company’s complete lack of communication. They don't respond to emails or provide any meaningful updates, leaving me in the dark. For a purchase as significant as this, the service has been beyond unacceptable.
If you're considering buying from this company, I strongly advise against it. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere—this company cannot be trusted to deliver on their promises.

Fantastic company. Helpful and quick to respond. Answered all my questions from ordering to post installation. Outstanding service. I have the Selvik outdoor sauna which is beautifully made and looks modern and stylish in our countryside setting. We installed/built this ourselves over 3 days. Would use again and highly recommend.

I am the owner of a very beautiful, uncompromised outside, wood fired sauna! I couldn't be happier with the quality and efficiency and HEAT of my sauna. From the initial free consultation phonecall to guide me through all the component parts I needed to buy to the installation of my sauna Jussi, Polhus have been very helpful. One minor hitch was needing to offload the delivery myself with the help of a few friends but apart from that I cannot recommend the experience and finished result enough. I am actually looking forward to the winter this year knowing that I can warm my body, heart and soul in my garden sauna!
