Super unreliable . Poor Quality
Super unreliable. Shoddily made. Things that shouldn’t break do ! (Eg ignition. Windows locks after only 38k kms)
Car is full of glitches . Awful!!
Don’t believe all the boy racers who tell u porsche is built to last!! It maybe was true 30 years ag0.. It’s NOT true now !!
What a disgrace!
What a disgrace!
After arranging to take my Cayenne into Porsche Tewkesbury for a recall due to a letter from Porsche in the post, I dropped off my Cayenne and was given a brand new electric Taycan as a courtesy car. Great you may say... except that when someone scratches it while it's parked next to your house because it's too big to fit on the drive, you're liable for £500!
Not the dealerships fault, true but not having the parts on the shelf for the recall after it being booked a full four weeks previously.... IS!
A complete waste of a day, £500 down the drain, less fuel in my car and not a hint of apology for this mess.
If you own a Porsche, I'd go somewhere else.

Spent $3,800 at Porsche Melbourne for service 17/11/23 and got my car back with no fuel after they emptied it and my rear view mirror fell off while I drove out from the shop nearly cause a accident when I confronted the service manager all I got was we will take $100 off your next service. I am very not happy with the level of care and up front communication.

Porsche Assist must be the worst folks I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
My dealer in Solihull is awesome and really good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend but if you ever have to deal with Porsche assist (like when you have a warranty problem such as heater)
I am now 2 days without any sort of transport and counting.... meanwhile my depreciation is running at almost £200 per day
The va va vroom is only in the engine
Ok so i'm giving them 2 stars for the fact in bristol uk they are friendly and polite but overall it's the receptionists who should be given a payrise as they are great and i looked into working there but they only get the min min wage of £9 per hour which is rubbish, their managers i think only get £35k so red flag right there. A premium brand just holding on to ALL of its profit which in turn will lead to not as experienced and skilled staff and uncaring staff if you want to pay bottom rate as well as a high turnover of staff.
I will not fully go into our list as it's boring but we gave up on the second hand idea as our first porsche a boxster 718 was lovely and new and had no problems for the 2 or 3 years we had it. We had a fantastic salesman (who himself left shortly after and went to Bentley) and it was all great ..that was around 6-7 years ago..since then carnage ..mistake after mistake from the service team mainly. However the hardest hitting was the uncaring attitude after..i call them and berate them for a bit sure and they say all the right things but then nothing..no follow up calls from managers or the sales rep who sold you the car when things go wrong..all chitter chatter and friendly when selling the car to you but as soon as there are any issues with that car, they disappear as do the managers. It is quite shameful really as someone who myself loves sales i find that strange.
It all started with us picking up our one year old 911 which was barely driven by the previous owner as he bought it during covid and which then had constant software issues such as the windows not going up when you put the roof back up..you have something as expensive as a 911 and the windows are all down in a city car park ..great! We dumped that off after 2 years for a brand new , was not even registered Targa 4GTS ..new and expensive it broke down due to a faulty part which as per usual these days was linked to software on a busy dual carriageway..after we had it for one week..it got stuck in park which it put itself in and that was that..2 and a half hours of standing in 30 degree sun later on the side of the road i had a migraine and we had numerous white van drivers (who i now have a new scummy feeling towards) laughing and taking videos and photos to no doubt put on facebook. I cried because of that when i got home at how spiteful people can be and i'm a really private person and i have to live with the fact my face and car are plastered over numerous social medias 'for fun'. Porsche's response was very bland and unthoughtful towards this.
I agree with others on here..something not good is going on with porsche. The cars are getting more faults and the service is pretty bad. I would say though unfortunately for us all i think the way of the world right now is highly competitive..companies are buying others so they do not get taken over themselves and can compete against larger companies..unless the governments step in more this problem will continue because the larger they get the less choices consumers will have meaning they can be as bad as they like because the 50/50 relationship which should be the case in any relationship will not be needed..they can do 10 and we do 90..porsche under volkswagon now have simply become too large .. and also removed ..we are no longer having families own champagnes such as Tattinger and Verve or Gucci or Porsche..we are having huge investment corporations who probably don't even know or like the products..money is all they know and in turn all they will care about is money..notice how someone who wrote a song generally sings it better than the person they sell it to?? The passion, the ownership, the duty of care, the feeling of responsibilty all goes. So we will not get porsche to see sense..we have already dumped off Mercedes after having a brand new one and numerous problems, recalls and blown tyres and after experiencing their customer service they make porsche look pretty good!
Trust pilot is a good start of consumers banding together and warning others, in turn reducing sales. All i would say is a trick that has worked for me beautifully in the past...take a boring sunday in the winter, get yourselves a glass of wine/beer and type in full your grievance letter ..put in some positives so they know how reasonable you are and that you're not just being petty..put each issue in a list separately as bullet points, even the minor ones, and once you've gone through the umbearable pain of sacrificing your afternoon and wasting your valuable day off..you then get the fun part of sending and emailing that letter to EVERYONE, consumer media, news programmes, ombudsmans, volkswagon, dick lovett, ceo of porsche, all on the board at porsche because that takes hardly any time..and any new issues simply pop them on in red font as an addition and resend! Be irritating to them, be annoying.
Porsche cars are great, customer service is appalling
Porsche: 5760876
A 5 time Porsche owner who experienced inherent defects on a Cayenne E Hybrid. Agreed 3 years ago that I would be offered appropriate compensation on my next Porsche. Guess what, the person dealing with it has left and they won't honour the agreement. Not even a complementary Experience at Silverstone.
I lost over £16,000 on trade in yet others (footballers in Chester) received full compensation.
Untrustworthy and changed their argument whenever countered. Paul Bolton is the most unprofessional customer facing service manager I have had the misfortune to deal with. Continually changes argument after being refuted, can’t spell and calls customers by the wrong name.
Will be taking the matter up with the Motor Ombudsman
Recently Took receipt of my Porsche…
Recently Took receipt of my Porsche Megan (my fourth Porsche from Teesside showroom) and the sales experience (as always) was a fantastic experience. DAVID was Very, very attentive and we could not be more satisfied. I gave a 9 out of 10 on the survey (reason being 10 is perfect and we ALL strive for 10), but after a re-think, it has to be a TEN (10) aswe could not be more satisfied. DAVID, if you are reading this, my sincere sincere apologies for the mis service I gave to you with a 9 (NINE), please hold this review aloft, it has been a complete pleasure dealing with you over the years, which is why we return again and again. Complete faith in your knowledge, advice & service. Always a friendly warm smile/hello to greet us with despite how busy he may be. With all due respect to Porsche staff, DAVID is seen as our go to person (except Tuesdays, his day off) for all issues no matter what that may be. Once again. Thanks DAVID. Certainly a 10/10 (perfect) in our view...... Keep it up.

My New April 23 Turbo S Cab
My New April 23 Turbo S Cab, let me down twice on holiday, Porsche Assist were incompetent at best.
Porsche UK Customer support not much better, lots of words all reactive nothing proactive. Multiple faults/poor quality, admitting leather in doors sub standard but fair wear an tear on bolster. Its barely 6 months old and is already worn????? Roof poorly aligned, another fault found in the management system while be checked over. They expect me to pay for shoddy work of Porsche assist while trying to get me on the road, seriously? I could go on but its very boring. Bottom line they don't give a hoot about their clients and the quality of the cars has dropped beyond recognition. Think twice before buying a Porsche especially a top of the range one, if you want one buy a 2nd hand one out of Porsche warranty from a specialist who cares.
Too quick to take money but slow to refund!!
Waited a month for a refund on Porsche connect after they took payment from my bank after selling my car. Four phone calls, four emails, lots of excuses. Accused of not actually paying and having to provide proof and I am still yet to receive a refund! Porsche are a joke!
Porsche Centre. Tewkesbury
Despite the glossy showroom at Porsche Tewkesbury their customer service was to me extremely poor. With a prior appointment I waited 3.5 hours for a repair to a sun blind to be given a diagnostic on the whole car which I did not ask for and a quote for a minimum of £1,300 to repair the sun blind. In addition, they disabled the sun roof, so that it no longer opens and charged me £199.20 for the diagnostic and the quote for the repair.
The support group not helping at all
The support group not helping at all , after almost a month they couldn’t give me a straight answer ! they supposed to send me a refund when i ask them their excuse is our system is not working what the heck ?! after 3 weeks ?!

Treated like Royalty at Porsche in Towcester.
The whole experience was so much better than we ever imagined ! Great vibes from the whole team from reception staff to sales and beyond!
Oliver and George so personable and easy to deal with - so much so, that we ended up buying 2 cars!
Thank you to everyone for making the Porsche experience so memorable. We love the cars and would recommend your team to everyone!
Thank you x
Never again !!
Ordered a new Macan in new colour Papaya last year through Porsche Edinburgh. Supposed to be delivered beginning Nov, few delays with very poor communication at times but finally got car in early Jan 23.
After only 4 months noticed very bad chipping on car along both lower sides. Orange paint with white underneath so didn't look good. I don't off road and am never off main roads doing fairly low mileage. I've had several new cars over the years and never experienced this problem before
Contacted dealership and basically told it's normal "road rash" and nothing they can do, even sent me pictures of a 2 year old one which was very badly chipped to demonstrate that this is what happens !!! fat lot of good that did to help reassure me.
Tried going in past Porsche Perth to see what they said. They said they had not experienced any issues with "road rash" on Macans, bit bizarre I thought. They took pictures of damage and said they would pass to warranty folk and get back to me. Waited 2 weeks as no response, e-mailed again for an update and never even received a response.
Owing a Porsche was always a dream for me but unfortunately it turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare.
Ended up having to sell it before the damage became too extensive and devalued the car as I was not prepared to fork out thousands £££ getting the car repaired then covered with PPF which is apparently what you have to do, doesn't stop the chipping just protects the paintwork
Porsche are obviously fully aware of this defect on the Macan model in certain colours but have failed to do anything about it apart from fitting a postage stamp size piece of PPF in the rear door quarter. I tried to get mud flaps fitted to help solve the issue but they advised "we don't do mud flaps at Porsche"
I will never buy another Porsche again as I found the paintwork quality and durability to be inferior to brands half the price and their after sales customer service to be a disgrace. I feel they simply hide behind the Porsche badge making you feel like its your privalige to own one so don't complain !!!!!

Wow what a great experience….just bought a macan from Chester (Cheshire oaks) . Aron was so lovely and helpful, what a brilliant service! I can’t thank him enough…..we will definitely be returning xxx
Biggest disappointment ever
I bought Macan S 2015 which was 2 years old car. My car was very well maintained, regular oil change, brake change and service done on certified Porsche dealership. My car has 82k miles, which is around 10k miles per year. I was driving on highway when the car completely lost a power and start shaking. All possible faults board computer showed. Mechanic said that the compression in the 4th cylinder completely lost and it might be do to broken piston, piston liners, or broken valve, as he can see oil on the spark and metallic parts in the oil. My car is out of warranty, but the question is how that possible that the car engine with such pedigree and history is broken on 82k miles. It was my favorite make. I bought it when was a fellow physician. I finished my fellowship, and now became attending surgeon. I was looking other Porsche to replace that one. I was ready to buy 911, or Panamera turbo s or Taycan. Now, Porsche is my biggest disappointment. Never again.
I do understand that for Porsche one client plus one client minus is not a big deal, but still I hope I'II let people know what you can expect. And there is no any other assistance programs to assist with repair that was estimated around 10k. And it was not my fault that metallic mechanical part broke on such low milage.
Made the DUMB mistake of buying an…
Made the DUMB mistake of buying an e-hybrid. Turns out this car has no spare tyre. Stuck in the bush and the ridiculous can of "fix it" they give you does sweet FA. NEVER BUY A PORSCHE ... the service is hopeless. If your commuting across a city maybe .. anything else .. DON'T BUY PORSCHE. The reality is very different when you need the support from the brand promise. The road side support is very polite ... but I've been waiting or 9 hours for a god damn tyre. PORSCHE YOU REALLY DON'T DELIVER. Why on earth did I buy into these lies.
"Porsche Centre Hobart"…For Diagnostic Test
My visit to "Porsche Centre Hobart" Australia was very disappointing and indeed it was a very bad experience...!
I had to drive to Hobart a day before for this.
I booked my Cayenne Porsche for Diagnostic test.
I was told to get the car there 8.30am and that it will be ready late in the afternoon that day.
I was told that they would call me if they wanted more info, but I didn't get any calls during the day.
Around 4.30pm I got the bill and I got the car back. The very disappointing thing was, that while driving home I realised that none of the requested alarms were cleared or reset, basically I had all the same sensor issues I had previously back on while driving home...
Very disappointed indeed!!
it was a total waste of time and money.!!!
I won't ever trust them or use them again...
Do they want to sell?
I had researched the stock of low mileage Porsches and found one I was interested in buying. I arrived at Porsche Wolverhampton just after 3.00pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon; I then entered the showroom and a very pleasant young lady asked if I was looking for something in particular. I described the car I was interested in, she took my name and my mobile number. There was no other customers inside or outside of the dealership. I slowly walked around while I waited for a salesman and looked at every car in the showroom - while doing this I could hear sales staff upstairs on a balcony laughing and joking about something. I saw a number of Porsche shirted people come and go avoiding any eye contact. After 15 minutes I returned to the nice girl on reception who told me someone would be with me soon.
I got fed up of waiting and left. If this is how I am treated when I may spend 6 figures on a car, how will I be treated if I had a problem with it? Maybe I did not look the part? I arrived on a motorcycle which may have influenced some assumptions of myself.
I would not be returning if they had a half price sale. I employ teams of sales employees, and if they let a customer with a pocket full of money walk out the door they would not last a week. It’s not as if they were rushed off their feet? Perhaps the appalling service and deserted show room are connected?
Brilliant cars but awful staff
It is hard to imagine a less professional service than that provided by Porsche West London. They managed to make buying a £200,000 Porsche Turbo S feel like I was buying a 15th hand 1983 Ford Escort.
Amongst the highlights
* I was given one week's notice to sort out the spec. In the end I had to change my diary to accommodate the sales man- surely it should be the over way round
* When I met him he presented colour samples for a red car with black interior. Unfortunately I was buying a green car with a beige interior.................
* At the end of the meeting he had one action which he forgot to do
* I then switched sales person. She forgot to send me details to insure the car so I had to chase her
* Then she gave me the wrong registration number. I have only bought one new car from these clowns before but I know the suffix should be LB........ She sent me a number with only one suffix letter so it could never be right
* Then right at the last minute they told me that they had "lost" the car and I had to change the collection date at enormous inconvenience
* They kept spelling my name wrong and using an address I moved out of in 2007!
Appalling attention to detail. The second sales person tried to tell me her attention to detail was normally wonderful- take a look at the below from her linked in. Mis-spelling a previous job title really says it all
