Disgusting service

Parcel sorted out in 1:44 in the morning with a message that the delivery will hold place from 08:00 until 18:00. At 13:00 there is another message saying that my package will be delivered from 13:00 until 16:00, so I waited for the package all day, and at 17:00 I get the notification that my package was delivered to my mailbox at 13:27 and there is absolutely nothing there. When contacting customer support, they are just saying to wait for the package and that it will come and that they cannot help me.

They've been sitting on my parcel for…

They've been sitting on my parcel for over 8 days so far and I don't see them delivering it any time soon. Next purchase I make online I'll be asking specifically if Postlink24hr (24hr?, haha they're taking the piss) are involved at any stage of the delivery process.

Broken bot smarter than actual people in there

Ordered a parcel, preference in app is pick up point. Driver that can't read dutch or english will deliver it home anyway so i wait up and check the app.

Before delivery time is finished i get a notification it's being sent back to the sender. Tried to get in touch with customer support but i get a broken bot in a loop. When finally a human is able to chat back (even though it's well within the hours of calling time on the website) can't do anything.

I understand now why the bot is on loop, the customer service people are even worse the broken bot is smarter. Just high people typing with their feet.

tl,dr: nobody cares, just wait one more week, we don't know where your package is.

I ordered two packages from bol, bought at the same time. Sorted and sent to PostNL at the same time. Both track & trace say the same - packages are sorted. Yet the postNL delivery person gave me one package, and the other is rescheduled. It's now been 5 days, the package is rescheduled every day, i see the courier driving by my house every day, and they don't take any responsibility. The status updates stopped for some reason - stuck on yesterday's info. Calling doesn't help - they want me to contact bol.nl. Who then says the package is received by postNL. Nobody cares about my property. The weekend comes, so I know the delivery will be an extra 2 days. I am leaving the country on Monday morning, and it surely will be suddenly "my fault" for not receiving the package a week after the delivery time. And to think, I chose this over Amazon and DHl to have a better experience. I was very wrong.

Package never picked up.

I left a package for the UK in the automatic parcel locker or whatever it's called and it was never picked up. The locker I was assigned after logging in was pretty high up and I know the guy who empties them is kinda short so he never checks lockers he can't see in to. It's a disgrace! That package lay there for 7 days so the label was no longer valid either. Luckily a woman who used the locker after me found it and brought it back to me otherwise who knows what would have happened to it. The only positive thing was the lady from costumer service who was very nice and gave me my money back.

Fraudulent customs charges.

Fraudulent customs charges.

Charged customs on a return from the UK to the Netherlands despite filling out a customs form clearly stating this.

They make it impossible to object from the UK as you must provide a Dutch IBAN to receive a refund and you cannot object prior to paying. I have been advised to post my objection which will cost another £9 to send and may not even receive a refund.

Customer service chat is extremely unhelpful.

I hate post nl service

I hate post nl service. Only have troubles with this courier. Unhelpful contact service. It is the third time that its drivers deliver to another address, glad the these neighbours are kind and always keep my packages but last time they were not at home, and I WAS AT HOME FOR ALREADY DELAYED PACKAGE. I will start to avoid shopping if I see that the courier is post nl.

Terrible

Plainly didnt deliver my package saying the delivery was ‘unsuccessful’ although i was at home all day waiting for it. I dont have this issue with other delivery services like ubereat, dhl and amazon.

Return because of the mistake on a label is a process

If you place an order with a mistake in the label (the mistake I did more than once given that I fibd choosing parcell size+dimension process on their site redundantly unnecessary), to get the info on how to proceed for the return of what you paid, you need to engage with an ai agent that will drag you arpund and regulary crash, only to be given a phobe number. Once you get that, they tell you to wait until the order is expired, and only tgen you call again, and again you randomly sellect something in their call menu, because, guess what, they do not have an option, returns or talk to the agent on something out of offered, only then they will tell you that they cannot trace your order but the label and only then they will tell you that you need to know exactly how much you paid otherwise no return. Wow just wow. I won't miss them if they ever go bankrupt.

Terrible experience!

I had 2 packages coming from the same sender, and since I was not home they left them at a PostNL punt, which is perfectly fine. The next day immediately they send only 1 of the 2 back to sender because of supossedly 'wrong address'. The address was correct on both packages. Customer Service was useless because could not do do anything for me, only file a complaint. I have to wait now for the package to be back at the sender, and they have to ship it again for which I will pay additional costs. Really terrible experience with PostNL

BAD SERVICE EVER!!

I want to give zero star, but the system is not allow. BAD SERVICE EVER!! I ordered things from Joybuy and is delivered by Postnl. I got a notification email that my package will be delivered BETWEEN 13.40 -15.40 HRS. I took leave from my work half day and was home since 12.00hrs the whole afternoon. No one ring at my door, no one call, nothing deliver. But the I checked my package status it showed my addres was wrong and the package is returning to the sender.??? I use this addres to order things online almost every day, ALMOST EVERY DAY and I always receice it. But with this Postnl why the addres is wrong???

No money, no letter ...no customer service

I sent a letter in January 2026 and paid for the purchase online (order 1RMDI6A). After a month, I contacted customer service and was told the issue would be investigated. Later, I discovered the ticket had been closed without any feedback.

I reached out again and was assured that they would look into it once more. However, after repeated follow-ups, it became clear that no progress was being made and the letter is likely lost permanently. When I attempted to request a refund, I was told this was not possible.

In total, four cases were opened and closed without any feedback:

At this point, I have neither received the letter nor a refund, and the lack of communication and resolution is extremely disappointing. More broadly, I have experienced frequent delivery issues, both as a sender and a receiver.

It is frustrating that, in what feels like a near-monopoly situation, the service provided is still unreliable and issues are not properly addressed or resolved.

Probably the worst delivery company

Probably the worst delivery company in Europe. They are useless liars. They simply say we delivered your item but nobody was home...when of course you were. I will do anything to avoid using them.
