My order came the next day and exactly as I had requested. £9.50 for any order under 10 kg is good value.

Easy to use website, and extremely prompt service. Products arrive well packaged, and using DHL as courier ensures you know a time for your delivery. Excellent!!

Pre ordered a piece of equipment that was due in to Potclays from the USA at “end August”. I know there have been a lot of delays with imports so expected a delay. Had notification on 30 Aug that it was on its way and it arrived this morning, 31 Aug. Super service.

Poor service.
There is so many issues every time when I make an order. The delivery time is so long.
From three weeks I am trying to find what about my order. No response. Never again.
I sent many emails to sales potclays.co.uk no one respond for example: 9th March 13:08, 3rd March 14:40

I recently had a rather weird and rather alarming steam issue with my kiln and as always the response from Potclays was both extremely quick and helpful. A particular thanks is due to the incredibly knowledgeable James Otter who correctly assessed the issue and patiently talked me through the issue.
I love their shop as well. Always costs me a fortune as I can never just come out with just one item!!

I just want to take this opportunity to say how helpful & supportive Potclays have been over replacing my Rohde Eco-Top Loader kiln for a Potclays S43 Top Loader Kiln.
I’ve had seriously bad firing issues for over 4 years with the Rohde kiln (right from the start!!) but annoyingly the company never gave any real help, instead they asked for more & more information from my electrician, plus they ended up leaving it all to the retailer Potclays to sort out!!!
I’m now pleased to say that the previous issue with the Rhodes kiln of struggling over 1100℃ & failing to reach high temperatures, has not arisen over the past 6 months with my new Potclays 8.5kw kiln & I can enjoy making & firing pots again.
Finally, a special thank you to Jonathan who gave up his time to visit on more than one occasion & encouragingly looked into finding solutions to the problem.

My shimpo wheel developed problems several years after the guarantee expired. I called PotClays who I bought it from. They diagnosed the problem over the phone, sent me a guide showing how to solve it and explained the process in detail, all within minutes of my enquiry. It worked perfectly, thank you so much Potclays. Brilliant customer service.

I bought a starter kit, which has just arrived. So far the service has been excellent. Being a beginner, I had a slight concern about the kiln, but my email was answered satisfactorily very promptly alaying my worries. I'm looking forward to getting set up and making a start with my throwing wheel and doing some firings.

I've been consistently happy with the service I've received from Potclays. From buying clay to the help and advice I've received. Recently James helped me with my Shimpo, plus during covid I was able to place an order and collect safely. Total confidence - thank you!

They have the gear you need, dispatch can be slow and expensive. Comms are last century.

Lovely company - James provided patient advice when I was buying and even more impressively fantastic support when my kiln developed a fault after I'd had it for 18 months.

I appreciate the prompt services of Potclays and generally also the materials they sell. One product to be careful is JB Porcelain. We have had two orders in 2016. The first one was fine in the beginning but deteriorated within the year, the second one was like pudding.
I have recently purchased a Rhode kiln from Potclays. I needed help to get things started so i contacted James. He was absolutely brilliant and help me programme the kiln. He is passionate about his work and wants to share this with others. I am so pleased we chose Potclays and look forward to visiting their lovely showrooms too.

Setting up my new kiln that was sitting around in packaging for 2 years (life gets in the way), and it wasn’t working. No idea what to do, I call Potclays who were very kind and helpful. They gave me James Otters email, I nervously told him my woes and he was wonderful. He told me what to check, I checked and it worked. I was so stressed at the thought I’d perhaps damaged my kiln by not installing it immediately but James put my mind at rest. Thank You Potclays and thank you James. You have always been a great company to deal with. 🤗
