ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL SCAM

ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL SCAM . They do take 50% once it's all gone through the till the trouble is the have signage stating the price of the product AFTER the discount without doubt their legal team has found a loophole to allow this. I WILL NEVER shop at pound land ever again. The only thing missing at the till was masks on the staff (who have a very clear 'script'). Don't Go In you will think you got a bargain in reality you will be paying full price plus. ie on shelf Roundup is marked at £4 so obv you think it's £2 at the till nope £4 is the price simple con I have no doubt somewhere an explanation of pricing is there but it's small and well hidden. AVOID THE PLACE & Save some cash

Echo everything already said SCAM

Echo everything already said. Shameful trying to take advantage of people in difficult times when money is tight. No doubt lawyers have made sure it is “legally” inside the rules, but morally reprehensible. I will never shop there again. May gain in the short term but long term they are sealing their fate of failure… despicable

I have just been shopping at poundstretchers & saw posters all over their shopfronts with spend 5 pounds & get 50% off I thought I had items totalling 6.90 & I would get 50`% of this price, therefore I was amazed that the total on the receipt was 13.69.I queried the bill & got told that the prices on bill were the ones that they had to put in their tills.THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANY DISCOUNTS As they are doubling their prices at the till.

Virtually everything overpriced!!

Sorry to have say that the sale offering 50% off everything is scandalous. Virtually everything in the store I visited today is marked at an absurdly high price. For example the Miracle Grow plant food is marked at a full retail price of £9 discounted to £4.50. The local Waitrose store just 200m away has the identical product for full retail price of £4.50 with a further 25% off. Avoid this trader.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. The 50%off sale is a fraud and rip off. The price of most items has been increased. At the checkout I was offered biscuits at 75p. I expected then to be half that price, nope, the 'real' price was £1.50! I would never have considered them at that price.
I shall never shop there again, they are liars and fraudsters! Their business should fail!

Before you buy anything in this store, think about whether the blanket before the sale cost 9.99 and now it costs 15.00 they have very low-quality product and they are unprofessional liars honestly

This store is no different to Poundland the same garbage for one use and they want to rip off our money as if you were buying at Harrods

Some products and then slap on a fake 50% off sale. A store close to me even had the cheek to use the wording “closing down sale, everything 50% off the marked retail price. Shame on you, I hope your business fails

Went to Poundstretcher today to get toilet rolls some were £15 a pack with 50% off if spend over £5.00 ( £7.50 ). Used to go and get 2 packs under £7.50 . Big Signs on shelves 50% off spend over £5 but large price on shelf is with the 50% off. Sorry to say last visit. Cheaper in main supermarkets. Very misleading.
