Phenomenal customer service

Phenomenal customer service. Our 10 year old mover developed a fault 3 days before we were due to leave our site. We were on a grass pitch, on a slope and had to be towed onto the pitch. We were only 20 minutes from their factory at Foston so rang them on the Monday. Spoke to a really helpful engineer who talked us through removing the control box which we then took to the factory with the remote. Andy took it off and tested it. Turned out there was a fault with the box. We needed to buy a new box but he said remote was fine. He gave us discount on the box and it was back installed and working within 2 hours. We have previously ordered a new remote after leaving ours on the A frame, which was delivered to our site next day. Also a motor cover, when we lost one, was also quickly delivered. Great service and thank you Andy!

Fantastic Repair Service

Handset failed on Monday.
Phoned at 16:45.
Posted it to them on Tuesday.
Got it back working on Friday.

It was just out of warranty .

No fuss,just fantastic service.

Not sure what has happened at power…

Not sure what has happened at power touch for warranty repairs? Took several attempts to make contact to try and arrange repair no response to date request made 3 weeks ago ,no commitment as to when repair to our mover under warranty will be carried out? In the past we had exceptional service to arrange a repair something definitely amiss now ?

Superb telephone help line.

Superb telephone help line. Unlike most companies that either don’t advertise a number or won’t talk to you, Powrtouch invariably answer the phone quickly and are very helpful.
Long may it last and I hope Truma don’t introduce some ‘efficiency’ measure which takes this away!

Powrtouch Classic stopped working 1…

Powrtouch Classic stopped working 1 month short of 5yr guarantee. Contacted the helpline (Andy) who was extremely helpful and knew what the problem was. Sent out a new part straight away all free of charge, and all now working as new. Excellent service from Powrtouch.

Had a problem with my powertouch mover…

Had a problem with my powertouch mover thought I’d call there tech support for help, wow what a complete waste of time that turned out to be, the supposed technical guy just wanted to disagree with every thing I said, completely the opposite of ‘support’ bloody awful so won’t be calling or using them again, how they are number 1 defies belief with such a poor customer focus !

Very well done power touch fantastic…

Very well done power touch fantastic service
Our motor mover stopped working two days before leaving for a month in Europe. I called power touch and explained the problem. They diagnosed it over the phone and told me I needed a new board. If I was ok to change it my self they could have it with me before 12 the next day. I said yes to the change myself and sure enough 11 am the new board arrived solving the problem. All FREE OF CHARGE.
I wish every company had this level of service.
From start to finish a pleasurable experience

How customer service should be.

Yesterday I had cause to contact the spares dept of Powrtouch. Once I explained the problem, (engagement wrench) I was immediately offered a replacement for the part, under warranty, even though it seems that I had caused the fault.
They then went over and above, by at my request, sending it by courier to the caravan site I was at.
I could only wish some other companies had a customer service like Powrtouch. Even though it was my fault, I was not made to feel as if I was to blame!
A massive thank you.

Things can go wrong. It’s how a company deal with those mishaps that determines if it is a good or bad company. Powrtouch went way beyond what I was expecting to correct things.

Shoddy After Sales

Been waiting three months now for an engineer to come and fit a new box. When I ring up they promise to contact the engineer to respond but nothing. When I email the company they do not respond. When I leave a message on their FaceBook page they do not respond. Obviously do not care about their after sales. Would certainly not recommend this company. UPDATE--- Just spoke to Tech Help and they have apologised that it seems as though my job has slipped through the net and all techs are maxed out So it looks as though they will send me the box and i will attempt to fit it myself. lets wait and see.UPDATE, Received the box fitted it myself happy now, this is what should have happened almost 3 months ago.

My mover stopped working putting my van…

My mover stopped working putting my van on my drive. The dealer who fitted it never supplied the T Bar or registered the mover with Powrtouch. Fortunately a friend had one in his caravan and we unlocked the remover and put it on the drive. Getting in touch with Powrtouch was amazing, no fobbing off only helpfull and helped me through all the details and fault finding. I was going on holiday the day after but didn't need the mover.Their engineer came out at 6.30pm and fitted a new control box when I returned from the trip. No problems.No hassle. I can only recommend this company.

Exceptional standards and service

I have a powr motor mover and the handset had stopped working. Spoke to Elliot who reassured me that if I posted the unit they could repair it. I told him I was working in Derby and he advised me that I could drop it off rather than post it if it suited me, so I did. I was met by Elliot and I handed over the handset, he then said if I waited 5 mins he may be able to do the repair. True to his word he appeared with the handset working perfectly and to top it off he said there would be no charge! Best customer service I’ve had in a long, long time, I would highly recommend them.

Fabulous company

Why can't all companies be like this one?
Bought a brand new caravan form a dealer who didn't register the motor mover sale with Powertouch. Sadly our one packed in but phoned Brian at Powertouch who sorted it all there and then with a very easy and comforting phone call. That was at 11am and by 5pm the same day one of their fitters had changed the board and handset and also pointed out the problem was down to the dealer not fitting it correctly.
But the feeling of relief and peace of mind to know a fabulous company can make you feel good out of a horrible situation. I will always use Powertouch for motor movers form now on.
Fabulous company. Thank you just doesn't seem to go far these days but Thank you anyway.

Excellent service from Brian. Service Dept

Telephoned assistance line spoke to Brian who was extremely helpful in fact a credit to the company.
Arrangements made to send engineer whilst we were on site, came at arranged time and replaced faulty unit. Very clean, tidy and quick replacement of faulty unit. Excellent service.

Brilliant! I Wouldn’t Fit Anything Else

Regardless of how glowing I write this review, it still can’t rate these guys highly enough!

I bought an older caravan 5 years ago which had a first generation manual engage Powrtouch motor mover. Having had a few minor issues, I contacted Powrtouch for advice. I expected them to tell me that my device was long out of warranty and no longer supported. Not a bit of it! They gave all the advice
that I needed to fix it and have it work perfectly.

I fancied having the benefit of a remote engage device, so bought the slightly later but still long out of warranty version on eBay. I fitted it myself (it’s not rocket science). However, I had all sorts of issues, mainly that there was a fault on the PCB. After an email and a couple of phone calls, they invited me to post the board to them and they would test it. The board proved to be shot, and they because it was so old replacement boards were no longer available. They advised me to try a firm in Cannock. I did as advised and the board was fixed. I put it back on the caravan but was still having difficulties. Then...... LOCKDOWN! The caravan was put away and the problem forgotten about. Another lockdown over and time to get the caravan out and either get this thing working properly or bin it. Still having problems and happy to pay, I contacted Powrtouch asking them to have it into their workshop and sort it for me. I was told by Phil that they couldn’t do that mostly because the workshop was closed due to COVID. Phil spent ages with me on the phone advising how to test the different issues and how to fix them. This advice helped me to resolve the issues and I now have a fully functioning remote engage motor mover.

Phil was brilliant, but so too have all of the other people at Powrtouch been that I have had contact with. Nothing is too much trouble. I have heard from others too and my experience is not unique.

Powrtouch, you people are brilliant, please don’t change!

Damaged my remote and spoke to helpful technical who gave me guidance then said to send it in before I buy a new one. Sent in and the day after they receive it I get a call telling me it was a simple repair (I could have done it) and it's fixed. It only took them 5mins so said no charge and will send back.

Addressed me politely all the time. Helpful and above all honest.

They could have pushed another £120 remote on me......but they didnt....honesty politeness helpful.
