I can’t praise this clinic and my experience enough! From the moment i enquired to the communication from Marketa leading up to during and after my treatment was exceptional! Dr Sedivy and the whole team including anethasist and nurses during my stay at the clinic was also exceptional! I am healing well and still have reassurance from Marketa and Dr sedivy if i need it! The clinic was beautiful spotlessly clean with all the most up to date equipment and to top it Prague is a beautiful city! I would highly recommend this clinic and have 1 friend going on my recommendation and 2 others considering thank you everyone for a first class experience

From the minute I enquired to the day I arrived/left Prague as a happy customer, the service and correspondence they provided me with made all the steps you go through (prior, during and after) so easy and straightforward. On arriving in Prague communication was excellent, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They made me feel calm and at ease as I was nervous. They talked me through the whole procedure of the surgery and the aftercare processes I would need to do at home. I met some lovely people and even went on a evening bus tour of the old town and then onto a boat trip with food and entertainment provided on the evening of the day i had my replacement lens surgery. I chose Praga Medica as my husband had lens replacement done with them 11 years ago and has had no problems at all since and still has his 20-20 vision. I would without any doubt definitely recommend Praga Medica to anyone who is thinking or is wanting lens replacement.

8 week review. Somewhat happy.
I have waited for 8 weeks to pass since my operation to do a review.
I had a very strong astigmatism so needed the Toric lenses.
After 8 weeks, my vision still hasn't returned to crystal clear.
I had hoped by now my distant vision would have settled down to see what I could see when wearing glasses or contact lenses, but they haven't.
PragaMedica seems to be just a booking office, not a real place. My eye operation was conducted by a third party eye company and absolutely no sign of PradaMedica anywhere. Had I known this, I would have booked elsewhere.
The date of our operation was rescheduled last minute to another day which was upsetting at the time. I since have learnt we were bumped of our operation day so that they could squeeze a few more in on our planned day.
Kate at PragaMedica was initially good to deal with but was powerless to assist us, I don't think she even lives in Prague.
I would suggest finding another company.

The whole experience from the enquiry to the aftercare!!
The accommodation and transfers were booked by Barbora and she informed us when we could book our flights. Everything went extremely well.
I was very apprehensive but the staff in the clinic really reassured me that everything would be ok. They weren't wrong. I was reassured throughout all my tests and my surgery which was performed by Peter - absolutely first class. Got the best eyesight I have ever had - amazing. My interpreter was Martina and what a very nice pleasant lady she was.
After the surgery we had a rest at the hotel - The Panorama, then later that afternoon we went on a tour of Prague followed by a Dinner Cruise, I could read the menu for the first time without glasses or contact lenses. Actually I couldn't read in contact lenses.

Fantastic service
After lots of research, I contacted Praga Medica about several surgeries following weight loss. Dagmar looked after me and was excellent with all communication, information and answering any questions I had.
I travelled to Prague recently for an extensive arm lift and Dagmar was there to help me every step of the way.
This included, arranging the airport pick up, booking my hotel, accompanying me to & from the clinic and arranging transport back to the airport again.
The clinic itself was modern and clean, the staff excellent and even the food was nice.
My surgeon was Mr Lukas Frajer and he was fantastic.
It's not quite 4 weeks yet, but the incisions are healing nicely and I can tell that the scarring will be minimal in time.
He did a great job and I'm very happy with the results.
Once I'm fully healed, I will be going back for a tummy tuck and have full confidence that Mr Frajer will do a good job.
I was quoted three times the price to get this done in the UK and even with travel and hotel costs it cost me well under half the UK price.
Prague is a beautiful city and the flight is under 2 hours away. I will be going back.

What a fantastic & smooth experience…
What a fantastic & smooth experience from my initial enquiry all the way to getting to the airport for my return flight I can’t fault Praga Medical.
I went for a consultation in the UK & after receiving the cost decided to carry out research on Praga Medical.
I was recommended for tri-focal lense replacement Praga Medical did all the same examinations on my eyes as the well known company in the UK. The clinic also recommended the same brand of lense replacements as the UK company. For everything including my surgery, flights & hotel for 5 nights it was just over half of what I was quoted back in the UK.
The same day as my surgery I was reading my kindle back in the hotel, I opted for both eyes to be done at the same time. I can honestly say after wearing glasses for 30 years I no longer need them.
I would & have already recommended Praga Medical to anyone who needs to constantly wear glasses. The improvement in my eyesight is amazing & even on my check up the day after surgery I could read the bottom line of the letters chart.
Praga Medical is run very professionally & all the staff were warm , caring & friendly, I had an interpreter provided by the clinic who accompanied me throughout my pre assessment, again for the surgery appointment & my check up the day after. The majority of staff do speak some English, there are water dispensers in every waiting room for people to use.

My recent trip to Praga Medica (Prague) for my procedure ( Breast Modulation) was made so much easier by having Marketa as our co-ordinator. From my first enquiry, to my return trip back to the uk, Marketa was very professional & friendly throughout.
The many pre-ops I needed before the procedure would have been so much harder had it not been for the help and guidance given to me from Marketa. I would also like to express my gratitude to Dr Militen who exceeded all my expectations, the surgeon is a genius and i can't thank him enough. I would like to thank the Team at Praga Medica for the excellent experience I had during my preparation and travel to Prague for my lens replacement surgery. From start to finish, I was guided through the options open to me. It was a seamless journey from leaving Norther Ireland, to collection at the airport, arrival at our hotel, collection to the clinic for my first eye examination and discussion around my choices for eye surgery. Nela, was my contact via email and she was extremely informative and helpful. Any questions I had were answered without delay. On my first day at the clinic, I was met by Martina. She was very welcoming and explained everything that was due to happen in regard to eye examination very clearly. She was constantly there, should I have any questions. On the day of my surgery, I was met by Tomas. Again, extremely professional and informative, remaining in the area if I had any questions. The procedure itself was over in less than 30 minutes (both eyes). Dr Peter Mojzis Ph.D FEBO, performed the surgery. He was warm and welcoming and extremely efficient. All in all, my experience with Praga Medica and all the staff at NeoVize was very positive. I would thoroughly recommend this service package, as my experience from arriving in Prague to leaving, again collected and brought back to airport was fantastic. The bonus of course, having a week's holiday in the beautiful city of Prague.

I had 6 Veneers replaced in the clinic…
I had 6 Veneers replaced in the clinic by Dr Katerina Jandova . The level of service was amazing and Dr Jandova and her team were very professional ,friendly and did everything to help make it as comfortable an experience as possible.
The clinic has all the latest technology and the team were able to remove my old veneers, scan my teeth, make new veneers and fit them all within a day.
Lucie was my customer liaison and was fantastic, she really helped a lot in the logistics, was there to meet me at the clinic and introduce everyone and helped sourcing a place to stay.
I would thoroughly recommend the Praga Medica clinic and I would not hesitate to get further treatment there if the need arises.

Delighted with the whole process
Delighted with the whole process. The emails/ communication came thick and fast and which were informative and helped you understand what to expect. Picked up from the Airport ( nightmare going through the new entry/exit system!) half hour drive to the hotel.next day had thorough eye examination from different teams- all were well managed with little waiting time.following day had both eyes done(tri focus lens) again everything was managed smoothly, quite a busy place with lots of people coming and going.prior to procedure had regular drops administered as part of the anaesthetic which was painless.the procedure was a strange experience- about 8 mins per eye with a 10 minute break between. In the eye theatre there was 3 or 4 people along with the specialist. An eye clamp was fitted which kept your eye open and stopped you from blinking and then had to concentrate and look directly at 3 bright lights which was a few inches from your face. Some sort of liquid/ gel was applied to your eye and then you see a flash of silver- I think this was when they make the cut and make the flap in order to remove and then replace the new lens. Totally painless just the anxious feeling that something strange and slightly uncomfortable is going on with your eye! The next sensation is if someone giving you an eye massage with their thumb! It felt as though the specialist was manoeuvring the new lens into place -I kept getting told off for not looking at the lights properly (“look straight not up or down “)which was quite difficult whilst being “thumbed by the surgeon!! So both eyes were done with similar experience s- slightly unnerving and uncomfortable but not painful. I was soon ushered out to the last waiting room to get my belongings and ready for the off. One of the male staff sat me down and explained a few things of what to expect, do’s and don’t’s etc and fair play he made you at ease and had a nice calming manner. He gave me some bits and pieces (different types of drops/ painkillers etc) and I was good to go . My eye sight was slightly hazy but very sensitive to light. I put my shades on as I left the building but the brightness from the sunny weather made me wince and want to close my eyes! I decided to take the underground to my hotel which looking back was an error of judgement because just walking to the station (half a mile) was hard work due to the brightness affecting my eyes.got back to my hotel late afternoon- had a cuppa then closed the bedroom curtains and lay on the bed! Advice would be to take a taxi straight back to your hotel,take a couple of painkillers to take the edge off and stay out of any bright light. Eyes were much better the next day and was comfortable taking the tube to the clinic for my checkup. Everything went well with my vision reading the charts bang on! An hour later I was on my way ( shades are a must) eyes still sensitive to light but that is part of the recovery process, and now 6 weeks later it’s all very manageable but still recommend sunglasses when out and about. Besides the sensitivity of the eyes I can’t think of a negative aspect of-the whole process . Highly recommend the company- the friendly staff, how efficient it all was,good value for money( approx £3,000 for both eyes) spending time in a beautiful city and ultimately the positive result of having excellent all round vision again. Just had thorough eye test in a high st opticians and everything was perfect. One current downside to having new lenses is night time driving which is not very pleasant due to the “halo” effect of the lights- all the lights seem super sensitive and even exaggerated which is uncomfortable to say the least. Apparently this effect diminishes with time and they recommend wearing those yellow lense glasses which are supposed to soften the effect. So thank you Prague Medica for your services 👍

My experience with Praga Medica was superb! Everything from being picked up at the airport to the highly experienced optical staff at the clinic, was so thorough and faultless. The clinic staff and our interpreters were considerate, kind and extremely professional. It just felt like the “big deal” of having surgical lense replacement surgery was a simple procedure to them and it really was! I am thrilled with the whole experience and my new eyes, without glasses.
We chose to stay at the Panorama Hotel, which was literally around the corner from the clinic, an excellent choice.
