Really positive experience with PRAGA Medica, last week I had an upper eye lift.
The communication was perfect, from before, up to being collected from my hotel by the lovely Jana, taken to the clinic/surgery supported throughout and returning to my hotel.
The procedure was pain free, a bit of discomfort shortly after but healed quickly. I’ve been back in work this week with hardly anyone noticing the slight swelling and bruising I still have!
The surgery was a very professional setting. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Very reasonable prices too.

Amazing experience
I recently travelled to PRAGA MEDICA in Prague for lens replacement surgery, and honestly, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
We were originally referred to the company by a friend who had previously had her lenses replaced there and was extremely impressed with the whole experience — and now I completely understand why.
From the very first contact with Daniela, everything was seamless. Organising dates, travel, and appointments was all handled professionally and efficiently, which immediately gave us confidence. When we arrived in Prague, transport arranged by the clinic collected us from the airport and took us directly to our apartment. The following day, transport was again arranged to take us to the clinic.
There were six of us having the procedure done together, and every single one of us had exactly the same fantastic experience.
The clinic itself was incredibly professional, reassuring, and thorough throughout every stage of the process. All examinations and consultations were very in-depth, and the staff made us feel comfortable and confident ahead of the operation.
The day of the surgery was just as smooth and organised as every appointment beforehand. The procedure itself was absolutely amazing, and the care we received throughout was exceptional.
Sandra also joined our communications and was equally brilliant. She even came to meet us personally on the final day for our check-up, which was a lovely touch.
If anyone is in any doubt about lens replacement surgery, my advice would be to stop doubting and do it. In less than five days, I would say my sight is already 99% improved. It genuinely feels life-changing.

I had both my lens replacment in March…
I had both my lens replacment in March 26, with Praga Medica at the Neovize clinic in Bratislavia, the whole experience was very organised, Zuzana from Praga medica organised everything and kept me very well informed. The clinics itself was very clean and modern the staff very efficient, i actually had it done on the same day as the initual consultation after three hours of thorough eye test and examinations. I now have 20/20 vision at a fraction of the cost i would not hesitate to recommend Praga medica to anybody thinking of lens replacment surgery.

Amazing service, I was so sceptical about everything I had read on line about how managing the service was before I went but I have to say I couldn’t find fault. From start to finish the service was excellent. I had so many questions to start with. All answered in a very reassuring manner. I also chopped and changed dates and hotel options all done with no fuss nothing was too much trouble. As for the procedure it’s self. Painless, Professional,English spoken by everyone I had contact with.so far the after care has also been amazing. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about it, don’t waste any more time. Go and do it you wont regret it. As for the cost V the UK well that is also amazing. I really don’t understand why in the UK we charge so much for something that can be done for a fraction of the cost and so much better elsewhere! But that’s the UK for you. I can’t urge you enough go and do it, its life changing.

Returned from Prague on 2nd May 2026 after having replacement lenses and cataracts removal. Praga Medica organised everything from hotel bookings, airport transfers, assistance at the eye hospital and general advice. Jana, Zusana and the rest of the overseas team were brilliant and the service was superb. I only have high praise for the medical team at the JL Eye Clinic everything was conducted at the most professional level. Preliminary approval was misleading – ended up turned away after travelling
I contacted Praga Medica / NeoVize in Prague for FemtoLASIK HD after submitting my questionnaire and iScan report. Sandra confirmed I was a suitable candidate, stating that the only possible issues were two rare conditions that could only be identified under dilation during the pre-op exam. This gave me confidence to book flights, accommodation, and time off work for the February 2026 dates.
On arrival at NeoVize, no dilation was performed. The doctor quickly informed me that FemtoLASIK could not proceed because my prescription (particularly the high hypermetropia in my right eye) was too high. This was not new information discovered on the day — it was clearly visible in the documents I had already provided upfront.
The Pentacam scans showed my corneas were healthy with good thickness and no signs of keratoconus or other issues. The only reason given was the magnitude of my refractive error, something that should have been flagged during the initial surgeon review.
The clinical staff and facilities at NeoVize were professional, polite, and thorough with the measurements they did perform. However, the sales/communication side (Praga Medica) appears to have been overly optimistic in their preliminary approval. It feels as though if you are close to the limits of what they routinely operate on, they may still say you are eligible just to secure the booking and deposit.
After travelling internationally, I was turned away with no surgery and no goodwill contribution toward my wasted travel costs (only the deposit was refunded). The Terms & Conditions protect them, but this experience left me feeling misled by the initial assessment process.
If you are considering laser eye surgery with Praga Medica / NeoVize, I strongly recommend getting a very thorough second opinion on your prescription limits before booking travel. Make sure the preliminary approval is based on a realistic assessment of your actual refraction numbers, not just a quick “suitable” response.
I wish the outcome had been different, as the clinic itself seemed capable. Unfortunately, the disconnect between sales promises and clinical reality cost me time and money.

During this examination, important findings can sometimes be identified that are not fully apparent from the initial documentation, which may affect the recommended treatment.
In your case, the doctor concluded that proceeding with FemtoLASIK would not be safe. While we understand this outcome is frustrating, the purpose of the detailed pre-operative examination is precisely to ensure that no procedure is carried out unless it is medically appropriate and safe. An alternative solution was therefore recommended.
As outlined in our prior communication and agreed Terms & Conditions, treatment plans may change based on clinical findings, and the final decision cannot be confirmed in advance. Your deposit was fully refunded accordingly.
We regret that you are dissatisfied, but patient safety must always remain the primary priority.

I had a very positive experience with PRAGA MEDICA from start to finish. The process was straightforward, well organised, and easy to navigate, which made everything feel calm and manageable.
Jana was consistently helpful, efficient, and easy to deal with. She responded quickly, kept everything on track, and made sure I had the information I needed at each stage without overcomplicating things.
Dr. Badida was professional, patient, and clear in his communication. He took the time to answer questions properly and was available when needed, which gave a good level of reassurance throughout.
I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty, and the experience was smooth and well handled. The Medicom Clinic is modern, clean, and well run, and the staff were efficient and professional.

Neo Vision and Praga Medica- very bad, be careful!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at NEO VISION CLINIC AND PRAGA MADICA. After my surgery, I developed a severe allergic reaction affecting my eyes. I promptly informed my contact person, Daniela, who replied the following day saying that Dr. Klimesova advising me only to stop the drops without providing any alternative treatment or further guidance. I text her again but unfortunately she disappeared for good, letting me in a loop, scared and without knowing what to do. 😔
What is most concerning is the complete lack of follow-up care. Nearly a month has passed, and I have been left without proper medical advice or support, despite not completing my prescribed aftercare treatment. The doctor who performed the surgery should have ensured appropriate follow-up and continuity of care, yet this responsibility was clearly neglected.
As my condition worsened and I received no meaningful support, I was left with no choice but to seek help elsewhere. I had to arrange and pay for treatment at a private clinic in London to address the allergic reaction something that should have been properly managed as part of my aftercare.
This experience has left me feeling abandoned at a vulnerable time. It gives the strong impression that once the financial transaction is complete, patient care is no longer a priority. This is deeply disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable.
I cannot recommend their services to others based on my experience. Patients deserve far better care, communication, and responsibility than what I received.

The advice provided was prompt, clear, and tailored specifically to your situation.
You subsequently informed us that you had started with recommended medication and that your condition was already improving. After this, we did not receive any further concerns from you.
We have also seen your follow-up message sent over the weekend regarding the use of alternative artificial tears. As this message was received outside of working hours, we responded at the beginning of the next working day. Unfortunately, we have not received a reply from you since, while your public review was posted in the meantime.
We understand how concerning any unexpected reaction can be, and we always recommend that in case of acute or worsening symptoms, patients seek immediate local medical attention, as remote consultation has its limitations.

This is the second time I’ve used Praga Medica …first time 7 years ago for lens replacement and more recently upper blepharoplasty.Aside from being absolutely delighted with the outcome of both procedures ,I would recommend this company to anyone considering them.
Caroline was the agent that I made initial contact with and from that moment until the taxi back to the airport on day 4 the communication was excellent.Caroline kept me well informed from the start and took all the stress of arranging taxi’s,hotels,clinics out of the process.
I was also provided with a lovely lady Adriena Drabkova who contacted me the evening before surgery and told me she would meet me at clinic the following morning (which she did ), to be available for translation if needed…she even very kindly showed my husband a lovely coffee shop to wait in,for the hour I was away for my procedure.
