Brother Ash sorted everything, he even manage to arrange an early offer so I could get a better rate.
He sorted solicitors which were brilliant.

We recently used Precept Finance as our Shariah compliant mortgage advisor and had a great experience. Here are some highlights of our journey with them:

3. They kept us updated throughout the process and let us know what was expected of us at each step.
4. They helped us understand the different finance products available from the lender, which was really helpful in making our decision.
5. When the lender's valuation came in lower than expected, they provided valuable advice which helped us renegotiate.
6. They even made sure that we were moved to a revised rate when the lender's rates dropped after our mortgage application was approved, which reduced our monthly payments.

We had most of our communication with the Operations Manager, Ms Maleesa Mariym, who was very patient and thorough in explaining every step of the process to us as first-time buyers.

My case advisor was Maleesa. She was brilliant throughout the process, understood my details carefully, guided me at each step and was super quick! I found it very easy to reach her if I had any queries - she always picked the phone after 2/3 rings and replied to emails promptly. She has great connections with lenders and ensured that I got the best deal. I definitely would have struggled (especially being a first time buyer) if I went directly to the lender, there is no doubt. Above all, Maleesa was incredibly quick with processing the information, keeping me up to date everyday and getting me the mortgage offer before my anticipated date! Had a really good experience with Precept Finance. Drawing down the islamic finance from Gatehouse could not be easier without their help. Special thanks goes to Mr. Abul, Mr. Shamim. Brother Abul was my first point contact.

I did have some shortage that my own funding was not adequate for the deposit amount. So I had to show gift amount in application. However bank rejected the gift fund because they did not agree with the explanation of the money source. Brother Abul handled the situation very smoothly. He was very fast in response and contacting the bank. The Precept Finance seems to have a very good connection with Gatehouse bank. After I put more amounts into my own savings the application was approved. Alhamdulillah, great relief!

They played a very vital role even during the final draw down of the fund which was actually the responsibilty of the solicitor. The new house seller vendor was about to pull back the sell if the fund was not available by 30.06. So I had a very stressfull situation.

But the precept finance kindly agreed to help at that moment and started to communicate with the bank to escalate the completion process.
Finally bank released the fund after 3pm on 30.06. And we got the home purchase completed!
