Premier(you cannot be serious)Man

A short while ago I ordered three pairs of jeans from Premier(you cannot be serious)Man, the order process was reasonably good and the price was excellent. My order duly arrived, I excitedly (yes, yes I know S-A-D) opened it and took out the three pairs of jeans; to be fair they looked to be very good jeans, by now you're wondering, hey! Where's this bad review, well I'm getting there. Anyway, I tried on the first pair and they fitted......well like  a foot in a glove; a very large glove. Had I suddenly lost weight, had I achieved a waist that an adonis would be proud of; nope just mislabelled jeans that were at least one size bigger than the label stated. The other two pairs fitted fine, phew! That's a relief. Now things start to go downhill, so hold on. I emailled Premier(you cannot be serious)Man and I explained the problem, then asked that they a) collect the faulty jeans, and b) that they send the correct replacement. Premier(you cannot be serious)Man emailled back, they were getting their courier to collect and could I pack them up, putting details inside. Now this is a downhill bit; they said their courier would collect in the next 48 hours, between 8am to 8pm, stay waiting in for 48 hours, do they take all us retired folk to be chairbound dribbling idiots who spend all their time at home, I admit that I've had my moment, but hey. They further stated that they could not replace this faulty item and that I would have to reorder; yep, reorder from scratch. I pointed out that all good companies would exchange an item and not expect the loyal, or possibly loyal customer to jump through hoops in an endeavour to get what they ordered; especially when the loyal, or possibly loyal customer was NOT AT FAULT.......

The emails went back and forth with Customer Services, the 48 hours came and went with no courier collection, I complained but to no avail. I then emailled their parent company CEO a one  angela.spindler who is at @homeshoppingdirect.com. she replied and said that she would pass on my complaint to, well complaints. A few days later.....nothing, so I emailled the CEO again. Later that day I received an email, it came from the same Customer Services email address; yep, the same office that I was getting nowhere with. I, by then peeved and frustrated, asked for a full refund and to keep the two good trousers as compensation. They, Premier(you cannot be serious)Man said, "that is unreasonable" but would refund the delivery cost. The faulty trousers were  eventually collected, and refunded but the bitter taste remained. Hey! Just to add insult to injury, I noticed that a second pair was faulty, one leg was 1" to 2" wider than the other, they also went back but I did that through good old Royal Mail and I received a refund....but not till three weeks or so later. Then, to add further insult to my further injury, the button came off the other pair of trousers the second time I put them on; did I send them back........not on your Premier(you cannot be serious)Man likely, I repaired them myself; it's sooooo much easier.

In conclusion, why, oh why can't they, Premier(you cannot be serious)Man have a simpler system; if its wrong we will exchange, if it's wrong and it's our Premier(you cannot be serious)Man's fault, we will definitely exchange. If a courier has to collect; then get the courier to email a collection slot, as they do when they deliver the order in the first place......simples eh! And treat us, the loyal or possibly loyal customer with a bit more respect. Moan over............byes.

Made several orders over last 2 weeks…

Made several orders over last 2 weeks, all ended up being cancelled and not even an email to inform me they had been. When I contacted them the first time they couldn't tell me why and advised to reorder which I did. Second time I ordered, order was cancelled and credit limit reduced to 0 due to not using the account for 2 years, so I would need to sign up for a new one. This is fine as the order was more a courtesy order to keep the account active anyway, just annoying as there wasn't 1 email to explain the cancelled orders or account but they could send promotions. Very poorly run business and I certainly will not be signing up for a new account.

OK until something goes wrong

I've used Premier Man for a while now now but my last order got held in their warehouse and failed to meet the 3-5 day delivery window they quote for 'Standard' shipping. This would not have been a problem but I purchased these items for a holiday which they will now arrive too late.

I called their Customer Service department and was told they have no contact with the warehouse so could not find out what was going on or speed up/release the shipment. Considering they are a mail order company this is (in my opinion) ridiculous. All they could do was offer to refund the shipping.

If you need something on a deadline don't trust them. They could learn a lot from Amazon when it comes to meeting delivery commitments.

Good selection of clothes normally…

Good selection of clothes normally available in larger sizes and in many styles. Very useful when something you like is deeply unfashionable. Trousers are available in a variety of leg lengths, again handy for those with shorter or longer legs. However the shorter lengths are often out of stock with a 2 to 4 week wait, which can be annoying.

Also if you don't specifically tell them not to send you mail you will get ridiculous amounts of mail and catalogues, which is extremely annoying

Unlike others I have had no issues with deliveries or returns.

Really poor customer services.

Really poor customer services.
Disappointing isnt the word. Apparently the courier says hes been here but four of us have been here all day. No attempt to deliver! No card through door. Courier wont come back? I paid extra for this service...will not be using this site again. Much rather pay more and at least the stuff turn up when its supposed to.

Bought jeans, got...thongs ?!!!

Ordered a pair of men's jeans. A 5 pack of ladies thongs has just been delivered by a smiling Hermes courier (not his fault.)
Laughably awful ! Very disappointed and disillusioned. After such a poor first experience, I doubt we will place a replacement order, so I have no idea what the required jeans (big full page advert in the Mail caught our eye - suckers!) may have been like. Probably the worst item ordered / completely, HILARIOUSLY, the wrong item delivered cock up I have ever experienced.

Some good, some bad. Average quality so far - overall a little disappointed.

I ordered around £200 worth of clothes from Premier Man. Items were delivered to my chosen Hermes Parcel Shop in the timeframe described at point of purchase. So a good start.

Upon opening the package everything I had ordered was all present and correct. And a handy shipment sheet was included for returns.

The quality of the goods, however, was hit and miss. But then I suppose if you buy a pair of trousers for £12 you shouldn't expect brilliant quality.

It's mostly cheap and cheerful quality in terms of cut, stitching, pleats and seams. But for every day workwear it will suffice. Or it would if any of it fit me! (Not Premier Mans fault - just a pitfall of online ordering).

That said I did also have a casual jacamo shirt in with the order and this was of a noticeably improved standard but obviously was a £30 shirt instead of a £10 one.

I ended up sending most of it back as it didn't fit properly and arranged a collection from my home address. This is where I have to knock some points off.

I arranged the collection on the Premier Man website. The website duly advised me my collection had been arranged but I received no emails or texts confirming time frame from either Premier Man or their courier (Hermes). After 24hrs I chased via Premier Mans online contact forms. However, I was sat watching TV on bank holiday Friday and there was a knock at the door. I answered the door to find a rather scruffy looking fellow saying he had come to collect my returns. He had a pad of Hermes branded paperwork but wore no uniform or ID. He was also driving what appeared to be a private unbranded car.

Kudos for coming on a bank holiday but surely should have been notified of the planned collection? Aso should someone employed by Hermes be carrying ID and wear a uniform? I should also point out that at the time of writing, Premier Man have still not responded to my online enquiry and it is now 48hrs later. But in their defence it is Easter bank holiday weekend so I am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being. In any case, it's a moot point as the collection has already been made.

But due to no correspondence from Premier Man or Hermes I was not expecting this collection so it was a good job I was at home! (I wasn't going to leave the package outside unattended 'at my own risk'). So some work needed on the correspondence frontI feel.

I will wait and see what happens to my returns and subsequent required refunds and I will update the review accordingly.

A second reason I must knock points off is their advertised 20% discount codes do not discount the proper amount. It did not remove 20% with my initial order. Included in the delivery of my order was a free catalogue with another 20% off next order code to use at checkout. I placed a 2nd order for some of the items I had sent back but in a size that should fit and my order came to £75.

I entered the code expecting the cost of my order to reduce by £15 but it didn't. It only reduced by £5. Clearly not the 20% discount advertised. So not happy about that - feels like a bit like false advertising. Do they not think people will check this kind of thing?

So 3 stars for now and I will revise the review once the process is complete on my returns.q

They are a good company

They are a good company, although a little expensive and quite a high interest rate. But what do you expect from a catalogue. I would have given them a 5, but they do let themselves down on delivery. They use Hermes and as we all know they are not the most reliable. Everything I have ever bought has been of good quality so I would recommend them.

Leather jackets are great!

My favourite place for buying leather jackets. I've ordered at least 4 cheapest £100. Most expensive is my leather blazer £250. All great quality superb fit they look great. Easy to order online or by phone easy to pay. I always pay in full no drip or never never for me. It's phrase's used for paying in instalments. Jeans are good also fit perfectly highly recommend. The leather blazer I'm wearing in my picture is actually from premier Man. They always say I'm one of their best customers I started with £200 to spend now have the maximum £1300 in credit.

I have ordered a few times for my dad as he likes a few items that PM sell. However on one occasion they opened up a credit agreement when I wanted to pay via card. I had to battle to get this closed! They continue to spam my email even after I opted OUT of being contacted which is not allowed. I would stay clear.

Just terrible.

Terrible customer service, all messages from them stink of a copy/paste job. They have no interest in support whatsoever. Also, beware of their "Next Day Delivery" option, as they love playing fast and loose with the term and they have the gall to charge for something they rarely deliver on. If you have any other alternative, use it.

Premier Man

Premier Man, this company is a joke. Sadly not a funny one. Fraudsters who took my money but also cancelled my order so I received nothing. Now they're refusing to engage in a conversation about reimbursing me. I am disgusted! How have they not been closed down? I wish I had read these reviews before ordering as I would never have placed the order.
Please avoid ordering unless you have got money to throw away.
Horrendous.

Company can't deliver as advertised

Company boasts of being able to deliver before Christmas what lies they tell you. Web site takes next day delivery charges however item not sent because it is a tv and goes by a different courier they then lie about it being despatched and revived by courier. As a result the overall customer experience is very low and unsatisfactory left cancelling the order and now will make purchase in the high street
