Subscription scam! Would give zero stars if I could. Like other reviews I believed I was dealing with giffgaff o top up my childs phone with £10 and only realised when the transaction went through that it was a third party. A few days later I had a £49 charge on my bank account! I was not aware of signing up for anything and still dont even know what this company does! I am now claiming through a fraud dispute with my bank as the company only offered a 20% refund. Avoid this company at all costs!

used this website because I simply wanted to top up my EE mobile phone. At no point did I intentionally sign up for a £49 subscription. I believed I was making a one-time payment for a phone recharge.
As soon as I noticed the unexpected charge, I contacted customer support and cancelled the subscription immediately. I requested a full refund because I never intended to purchase a recurring membership and did not use any of its benefits.
Unfortunately, the company refused to issue a full refund and only offered me 20% of the subscription fee, despite my explanation.
In my opinion, the subscription terms were not presented clearly enough, and the overall experience was misleading. I would not have proceeded if I had understood that I was signing up for a recurring £49 membership.
I hope the company reconsiders its practices so that other customers do not experience the same issue.

MISLEADING!!!
I used this service to top up Tesco mobile (mistakenly thinking this was a Tesco mobile provider).
They then charged me a 'subscription fee' of £49 but this doesn't actually give you any top up credit or service, you then need to add additional call/data packages on top of this. I'm struggling to understand exactly what they claim to offer for the subscription.
I spoke to them on the phone to try and understand what I get in return for this payment, for example top up credit (would make sense), but all they can say is 'for our services'.
On the 'Premium Plan' listing on their website, it clearly outlines that:
'Included every month: 10 GB Int'l Data, 2000 Int'l Minutes, 2000 SMS' - upon questioning how I access this benefit, they replied 'We do not have access to mobile network accounts or the ability to activate or manage data, minutes, or SMS allowances' - SO WHY ARE THEY ADVERTISING IT????
Really not happy with the experience and will be requesting a full refund. Joke.

Dear Jarvis,
You have sent me the exact same copy-paste reply again, completely ignoring every point I have raised. This tells me one thing: you know you are in the wrong, and you are hoping I will give up.
Let me be blunt with you:
Your company is a scam.
You use cheap, deceptive tactics to trick customers into unwanted subscriptions. You do not have a tick box for customers to actively opt in. Instead, you use a greyed-out, preselected icon that is already active by default—and customers have to notice it and opt out. That is not transparency. That is deliberate deception.
You are cheating customers out of their money, plain and simple.
And I am not the only one – your Trustpilot reviews are full of customers saying the exact same thing. This is not a one-off mistake. This is your business model. You are conning people.
You keep saying:
"You ticked a box"—LIE". There is no tick box.
"Terms are clearly displayed"—LIE". They are hidden in small print behind a pre-selected icon.
"We sent an email reminder"—IRRELEVANT". You should never have enrolled me without my clear consent in the first place.
You are not fooling anyone. You are a dishonest company that preys on unsuspecting customers.
Here is where we stand:
You have refused to refund my £49.
You have lied about your checkout process.
You have ignored my evidence.
You have wasted my time with the same useless replies.
I have now filed my claim with the Small Claims Court. You will receive the court papers shortly. I will also be posting screenshots of this entire email chain on Trustpilot so other customers can see exactly how you operate.
Do not bother replying unless you are confirming a full refund of £49. I have nothing more to say to you.
Avoid this company. I was charged an unexpected £49 subscription after purchasing a one-off £15 EE top-up. Many other reviews appear to describe the same issue.
Update: The website appears to have recently changed. The current version shows an opt-in subscription checkbox, but this was not how it appeared when I, and many others, purchased. The previous checkout did not clearly disclose the subscription and appeared to rely on a pre-selected option.
The company operating the website is Liern Limited (Cyprus). Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), traders must obtain express consent for additional payments. I did not actively consent to a recurring subscription.
If you have been affected:
1. Contact Liern Limited / prepaid-mobile-recharge.com and request a FULL refund (do not accept a partial "goodwill" refund).
2. Contact your bank/card provider and raise a chargeback dispute in parallel. Explain that you made a one-off top-up purchase but were charged for an undisclosed recurring subscription.
3. Ask Liern Limited whether they are willing to participate in an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process. If they refuse or do not respond (within 14 days), report the matter to consumer protection services.
4. Report the company to consumer protection services:
- UK: Citizens Advice Consumer Service (who can refer issues to Trading Standards)
- Cross-border EU issues: UK International Consumer Centre (UKICC)
Keep all emails, receipts, transaction records, and screenshots as evidence. The more customers report this, the more likely action will be taken.
