I don't believe this is a real booking site. My booking was charged and over 24hrs I received an email to say it could not be confirmed with the property. I'm yet to see if I get refunded. BEWARE!!

Better Rate

I actually booked a room directly with the property and did a courtesy hold. I then compared it to trivago and saved $350 for the same exact room on the same days.

I originally booked for 4 nights

I originally booked for 4 nights. I needed to change it to two nights. It took 2 weeks of phone calls and emails to make this change. I was charged as much for my 2 night stay as I was for my 4 night stay.

WARNING

WARNING: They take your money without actually booking the hotel!
I was redirected to Prestigia via Trivago to book a 4-night stay at the Hyatt Regency for my family (2 adults and a 6-year-old child). This was a massive mistake.
The worst part? I contacted the hotel directly, and the hotel confirmed in writing that they had NO RESERVATION under my name. Prestigia took my money without actually securing the room with the hotel!
Do not trust their "low prices" on Trivago. It is a bait-and-switch trap. They sell rooms they don't have. Save your money, your time, and your peace of mind—avoid Prestigia at all costs and book directly with the hotel!

Quick and easy

SCAM ALERT !!!! PRESTIGIA.COM !!!! AVOID !!!!

Prestigia reservation unknown at booked hotel when I inquired. Automated voice on customer service not tackling the problem but delaying the answer. First time booking, propably last time as well. Unreliable.. Avoid booking via Prestigia.com !!!!

Prestigia replied to this review that they would investigate and get in contact with me. Well: DEAFENING SILENCE again !!!!

The hotel confirmed that there is NO booking with my name. Prestigia is a SCAM !!!! Their customer service is inexistant. Only AI bots chatting away.

Prestigia = Scam

UPDATE: Prestigia's response below is utterly misleading. It's the best-written message I've received from them in two months, but it's a lie. They set up their system so that you are told conflicting information about how to cancel the reservation. They make it impossible to cancel. There's no button to do so. But I followed both (conflicting) instructions by doing so via email and on the phone line. Originally, their customer service number (AI bot only) told me my request had been canceled on time for a partial refund. But I couldn't get confirmation of cancelation for multiple days afterward in writing. Then they said I'd have a refund that still has not come, seven weeks afterwards.

Unfortunately I have had a nightmare experience with Prestigia. I'm sharing this post to warn other travelers, because I saw other posts that are clearly written by the company to say "It's not that bad" and was fooled.

Update: I got a message from Prestigia saying I'd get a refund within a couple days, but it has been 7 weeks without repayment.

Here's the nightmare that led there...

Below is more about my nightmare.

I booked a hotel for 2 nights. Their cancellation policy said I'd only be charged 34% of the total if I booked before midnight on my first night.

They make canceling so confusing that it's obviously designed to be a fraud. Nonetheless, I canceled the reservation 12 hours before midnight and have the documentation to back it up.

Four days later, they are still refusing to grant the refund of the remaining 66%.

Their phone service is 100% AI, and even for an oral chatbot, it is pathetic. Their website has contradictory information about how to cancel.

The service is designed to make it impossible to get a refund.

I was suckered in by a low price on a room. Never again.
