Primark Grimsby - zero stars!

Would give 0 stars if possible! Primark at Freshney place Grimsby, I'd gone upstairs into the men's section to purchase some items, I see a sign saying cash desk so head over to pay, another sign said C&C and in store purchases to be met by a rude young woman who said I can't pay here unless I'm collecting, I asked where it said that, was told its company policy, I reiterated where does it say that, pointing out to her that this is a cash desk as per signage. I work in retail as a manager and her attitude was disgraceful, perhaps speak to your customers with some decency next time rather than be abrupt.

Disappointed!!

Disappointed!!! I thought Primark was the same store regardless to which country you made a purchase. Grabbed some jeggings for my daughter whilst in Prague. Unfortunately, I got the wrong size. Tried to do an exchange in my local Primark to be told NO. It’s all the same company …. What’s the problem!!! Won’t go in again!!! Not a good service, the manager at Merryhill not helpful.

Don’t rely on click & collect

Did a click & collect for the co-ords that were everywhere on TikTok, only once I received days later (due up delay) half of it was missing!! If I’d have known there wasn’t a guarantee to receive everything then I would have gone straight to Burton after work, whilst there were still some left. Now I have nothing matching in the colours I wanted!! Very unhappy, as clearly I’m not going to get any now

Very poor experience in the Swansea…

Very poor experience in the Swansea store yesterday. I felt like I was being followed by store staff, so I stopped to ask about it. I was immediately shouted at publicly by a manager. After I’d paid for my shopping I asked for a manager only for this person to accost me again, shouting that “you’re rude” in front of staff and other shoppers.
I was genuinely scared for my physical welfare and was very pleased to get out of the shop, while I could.
Shocking customer service. Avoid

It’s a sad world!

I went into the Kings Lynn store yesterday only to discover that they have had a complete change around. Like a lot of stores they have cut staff and gone more self service. This in my mind only encourages shoplifting, which is costing millions. It’s also pushing people to shop online, which for a pensioner like me is a real shame.

I like to see and even try on what I want to buy, rather than take a gamble on shopping online. Going back to yesterday’s experience, for some reason they felt the need to move everything around! On top of that when I came to pay for my new slippers, they had cut the number of checkout to just 3, but only one was open. It took me far longer to pay for my slippers than to find them, and try them on. When I eventually got to the front of the queue I said to the young lady that she could do with some help. Her reply was that downstairs they now have self service checkouts, which I said I don’t like using. I know it’s a matter of choice, but it a shame that there’s no personal service or even pride in the stores to offer a customer with an experience that makes them want to return in the future. It really is a sad world!

Where are the socks!?

I ordered Pjs and a 3 pack of socks from The Sims range via Click & Collect because my local store didn't have any stock. I picked up my order and there were no socks. I contacted Customer Service and they claim that they cannot find the issue on their warehouse system. They haven't actually done anything or offered me a refund for the missing socks.

There was a long queue at East Ham…

There was a long queue at East Ham Primark so I went to the self service checkout. First time I used the self service checkout there. I paid for my item and put the receipt in my handbag and I didn't notice I had to scan my receipt for the gates to open. I also had a shopping bag. I had other receipts from other shops in my handbag. When I find my receipt. I noticed a worker looking directly at me with a very confused look. While I was scanning my receipt she remained closed to me untill the gate opened.
She made me feel very uncomfortable . Dear, NOT all customers who came in the store are theives !.

DON'T BUY NAILS FROM PRIMARK!!!

Went to Primark and bought false nails. I put them on with glue and it worked (for once.) The day after I was in a bit of pain when I moved my pinky finger. They would not come off and I was histerical when I was removing them. It felt worse than when I BROKE my toe. Had to go to a professional nail salon for them to come off. Ridiculous!
If I could give them 0 stars I would!

HARASSED by an assistant

Last time I visited primark white city I couldn’t stop being harassed by this one assistant who kept persisting to leave him a review. Even though he didn’t help me at all I decided to help him as I’ve been there before too. As I started the process on my phone he kept trying to touch my phone and trying to do it for me and even though I kept asking him not to touch my phone he kept on doing in anyway. When filling out the form with my details he said loud and clear “JUST PUT ANY RUBBISH” which I found very rude and unprofessional. He KEPT TOUCHING MY PHONE GETTING ANGRY THAT THE PAGE WAS TAKING TOO LONG TO LOAD until I had enough and said “I’ll do it when I get home” as I was now scared of being around him. He then stormed out furious without saying a work. PRIMARK could you please do something about this?

Came looking for a man's waffle…

Came looking for a man's waffle dressing gown and couldn't find them. looked at the section where the other dressing gowns were but nothing. However we were wanting towels and for some bizarre reason the men's waffle dressing gown were in the towel section it was only through sheer luck we found one please put them somewhere they may be noticed you might sell more

I purchased a it suitcase with Primark…

I purchased a it suitcase with Primark in August/September 2024. It has a 10 year warranty with it. This year the zip has broken, unfortunately I am unable to find the original receipt to contact the company on how to replace the suitcase.
I asked Primark for a copy of this receipt and they insist they are unable to help.
I find it hard to believe when I am able to give them the date time and store where the suitcase was purchased.

Went to the Trafford centre today and…received great customer service

Went to the Trafford centre today and was very keen to have a look at the new primary home store. Had a wonderful shopping experience in the new store , surprised at having to queue to get in - my naevity .Approached in store by the lovely Emily who had spotted that I was with my son with profound SEND and informed me that instead of joining the queue to pay we should use the disabled till . Do not use click and collect!!!

Placed a click and collect order that didn't go through (got an error message to say it couldn't go through and my basket was emptied) so placed again. I then checked my bank and it went through twice. I also didn't get any confirmation emails. I contacted livechat and they were completely unhelpful - said they can't cancel the duplicate order and can't send me any confirmations either. So I've paid twice for an order I have no record of. Ridiculously bad service.

Good quality in economical pricing.
