The coping stones were delivered to the…

The coping stones were delivered to the wrong address , not just a few houses away , but 50 miles away, on bringing this up with the company, they said it was the “ pallet company’s” fault and so no refund or compensation towards my expense of getting them to the right address, which cost me a further £50 . On top of that two of the stones were damaged and all the company said was take some photos and send them to us. Not good enough

Thank you for your review. We’d like to provide some additional context regarding this order.

The delivery was made to the exact address entered by the customer at the time of placing the order on our website, it was not dispatched to a random location 50 miles away on our part.

The order was also collected by the courier on the same day it was placed to ensure prompt processing.

The day before the scheduled delivery, the customer contacted us requesting a change of delivery address. We immediately passed this request on to the courier company. Unfortunately, as the consignment was already in transit, the requested amendment was not actioned in time by the courier.

In this situation, the standard procedure would have been to refuse the delivery upon arrival, stating that the address was incorrect, and request redelivery to the updated address. The courier would then have arranged this accordingly. However, the delivery was accepted, and the customer chose to transport the goods to the new address independently, after which a request for compensation was made.

Regarding the damaged items, we did request photographs so that we could assess the issue properly and take appropriate action, as is standard practice for damage claims.

We would kindly advise all customers to double-check delivery details at checkout, and if any issues arise with delivery, to refuse the goods rather than accept them, so that we can work with the courier to resolve the matter efficiently.

We regret any inconvenience caused but maintain that the situation arose from circumstances outside of our direct control and the customer has to take some responsibility for not enter the correct address at checkout.

Please check your items

Please check your items that the correct amount you have paid for has been delivered unfortunately I didn’t, so when we have gone to fit the bricks we were short by 70. So now I have had to order again at the cost of 100 pounds and the 70 I was missing resulting in bring out of pocket by 135, rang them up about this and not interested, so please be careful using this company.

We would like to clarify that your order was delivered on 24th March, and the issue was raised with us on 29th April—just over 5 weeks later. Unfortunately, this length of time makes it very difficult for us to investigate or verify what may have happened at the point of delivery.

All of our orders are carefully picked, weighed, and checked before dispatch, and the records for your order matched the expected quantities. As the issue was reported some time after delivery, and without any photographs of the original delivery, we were unable to assess the situation fully—particularly as some of the materials had already been used.

We always recommend checking all items upon delivery and reporting any discrepancies as soon as possible so we can resolve matters quickly.

While we weren’t able to take further action in this instance, we do take all feedback seriously and are always happy to discuss any concerns directly.

Excellent Customer Service Very Poor Delivery Service (External Courier)

Ordered Paving a week ago paid £120 for delivery on Monday. Took time off work to receive this Monday pallet never turned up. Numerous phone calls and promises of a call back ended up past over to palletways and the delivery had gone to wrong hub. Advised would now arrive Tuesday and agreed a specific time to finish work early to check delivery then received a phone call to say it had gone to wrong hub again and would now arranged for delivery at 5pm Wednesday. Have just received another phone call to say lorry has broken down and will not arrive until Thursday. Ridiculous charge of £120 for a sub standard delivery service and very clear lack of communication.

Product has now arrived very poorly package all stacked on top of each other with nothing in between resulting in chips at corners.
very substandard in terms of quality and customer service will stick to stone saver in future

Spoken with owner on Friday who could not be more helpful and done everything he could to find a solution really appreciate it.

We have to hold our hands up on this one, this delivery was a complete disaster, and we’re genuinely sorry for the frustration and inconvenience it caused.

Unfortunately, the delivery company lost the pallet within their network, then repeatedly gave incorrect updates about its location and delivery times, even sending it to the wrong hub more than once. Under normal circumstances, we would have arranged an immediate replacement and returned the original order, but this was unfortunately the last of the stock available.

Due to the pallet travelling around the UK unnecessarily, it’s very likely this is what caused the damage to the paving on arrival.

Throughout the process, we did our best to keep you informed as updates came through, and as the issues were completely outside of your control, we refunded your delivery charge in full. We also provided additional compensation for the damaged items and the time you spent trying to make them work, along with sending the remaining stock we had free of charge.

We completely understand why this experience has left you disappointed, it’s not the level of service we aim to provide, and we appreciate your patience despite the situation.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we’re truly sorry that your experience fell so far short of expectations.
