First of all this was our first cruise. The most of the crew was nice and friendly, food was not bad, our cabin person Frank was helpful and room was clean. Then we had a offshore trip in Honolulu... See more

For 60 years, we've been crafting unforgettable holidays on the high seas, blending classic charm with groundbreaking innovation. Where it all began Our story began in 1965 with the Princess Patricia sailing from Los Angeles to the stunning Mexican Riviera. Our destiny was sealed in 1977 when the iconic TV series The Love Boat® first aired, featuring our very own Pacific Princess. The show introduced millions to the magic of a cruise holiday and a world of glamour, romance, adventure, and fun for all ages. It propelled Princess to stardom, and even today, the distinctive horn of some of our ships plays the show’s famous theme song as we set sail. Now, as a leading cruise line with 17 ships, we offer a world of choice, from intimate vessels to grand ships accommodating over 4,300 guests. With a fleet this diverse, we've secured our place as a true innovator in the industry, earning accolades like the 2025 Telegraph Travel Award for Best Large Ship Ocean Cruise Line. A culture of innovation Princess has been at the forefront of cruise innovation for decades. We were among the first to introduce features that are now industry standards, transforming the way people cruise. We revolutionised stateroom design, making private balconies accessible to more guests. Personal Choice Dining and diverse specialty venues, including the exclusive Chef's Table Lumiere, gave guests the freedom to dine on their schedule. From watching films under the stars to unwinding in our adult-only retreat, The Sanctuary, we've created spaces for every mood. You can even walk on air with the SeaWalk, get married onboard, or catch a live show in the Princess Live! television studio. Our revolutionary Princess MedallionClass technology and MedallionNet Wi-Fi debuted in 2018, offering a seamless, effortless, and connected experience. Destination leaders Princess Cruises sails to over 345 breathtaking destinations in more than 90 countries across all seven continents. Our journey began with landmark firsts that shaped our itineraries: 1967: Our first cruise through the Panama Canal. 1969: Our inaugural season in Alaska, a destination we've been sailing to for over 50 years. Our proven expertise has earned us over 20 awards for Best Cruise Line in Alaska from the readers of Travel Weekly. 1985: Our first season in the Mediterranean. From the sunny Caribbean to the icy wonders of Antarctica, and from the ancient ruins of Europe to the vibrant cultures of Asia, we offer an adventure for every explorer. Princess Cruise is a great Cruiseline
Princess Cruise is one of the most friendly cruise ships. The staff go above and beyond. The ship we were on was a smaller ship and older but if was still a lovely ship to sail on.
Just come off The Enchanted princess

The holiday of a lifetime!
The holiday of a lifetime!
We travelled with Princess Cruises as a large group, and it truly was the holiday of a lifetime. There was something for everyone, and we came home with so many unforgettable memories.
The food was amazing, there was always plenty to see and do, and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We decided to stick with what was included in our basic package rather than adding lots of extras, and honestly, it was more than enough for us. We never felt that we were missing out on anything.
An unforgettable holiday and a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We would happily travel with Princess Cruises again!

We sailed on Enchanted Princess for our first cruise and what a fantastic ship in great condition. We booked Suite B101 at the front of the ship so great views and a very nice room! We had upgraded so drinks and decent dining was included and the food was 10 out of 10. Looking at reviews on Trustpilot I think many customers are very unfair and the type that will moan about anything! Keep up the 5 star service guys
Wow what an amazing experience!
Just returned from a week on the Enchanted Princess to the Mediterranean. Wow what an amazing experience for our first cruise! Everything was perfect from the moment we stepped on the ship and saw the magnificent interior- it really is grand inside. We booked a suite which was way beyond our expectations, large bedroom and separate seating area with a balcony and separate toilet and bathroom. It was kept clean with plenty of fresh towels everyday. The speciality dining was delicious especially the Crown Grill where the filet steak was to die for! It was my birthday and they really did make you feel special (especially Michael with his rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’) all the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We will definitely be booking another cruise with Princess Cruises soon!

I have just booked my fourth cruise with princess through Bradley my personal contact who has gone above and beyond to get me the best deal
The inclusive packages , value for money and customer service is excellent
Beautiful Ship, Heartless Customer Service When It Actually Matters
I’m currently on the Sun Princess, and this experience has completely changed how I view Princess Cruises.
While in Montenegro, I encountered a sketchy situation while attempting to withdraw money from an ATM. I became concerned that my card/account information may have been compromised. When I returned to the ship, I went to Guest Services and explained the situation. I wasn’t asking for a free day of entertainment or trying to avoid paying for Wi-Fi. I needed approximately TWO MINUTES of internet access to check my bank account and lock my card if necessary.
The response from Guest Services employee Owen Grebby was essentially a shrug and “sorry.” I was told I could go back into town and try to find an internet café—or pay $36 for a full day of internet.
Think about that for a moment.
A passenger tells Guest Services that they may have just experienced a financial-security issue in a foreign country and needs two minutes of connectivity to protect their bank account, and the response is: pay us $36 or go back into town.
That tells me far more about Princess Cruises than any beautiful atrium, balcony cabin, or marketing campaign ever could.
Cruise lines can have policies. I understand that internet access normally costs money. But good customer service means having enough judgment and compassion to recognize when an unusual situation calls for a reasonable solution. There is a tremendous difference between someone wanting complimentary Wi-Fi and someone trying to secure a potentially compromised financial account.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that Princess already feels determined to nickel-and-dime passengers at every opportunity. For a cruise line that can cost considerably more than competing options, I expected the service, food, and onboard activities to justify that premium. In my experience, they have not. The ship itself is beautiful, but a beautiful ship cannot compensate for lackluster food, disappointing activities, constant additional charges, and customer service that disappears when a passenger actually needs help.
And yes, apparently I have to spend the $36 after all. So I’ll use the internet I was forced to purchase to make sure other travelers know exactly what my experience was.
The real test of hospitality isn’t how a company treats you when everything is going perfectly. It’s how they respond when a guest has a genuine problem.
Princess Cruises failed that test spectacularly for me.
Beautiful ship. Disappointing experience. And after this interaction, I would think very carefully before spending my money with Princess again.
Update: I finally was able to get support from someone and they waved my internet fee. I appreciate the gesture but continue to stand by my review.

We have just returned from our Mediterranean cruise on the enchanted princess, we absolutely loved it, food, staff, ship, embarkation, we couldn't fault it, will definitely be sailing with princess cruises again
Our Experience on the Emerald Princess.
Our Experience on the Emerald Princess.
We’re still enjoying our time on board the Emerald Princess, and I wanted to take a moment to recognise some of the wonderful crew members who have made our cruise particularly memorable.
Oreo, our stateroom attendant, has been fantastic. He is always friendly, polite and attentive, and nothing ever seems too much trouble. He has looked after us so well and always greets us with a smile. Having someone so warm and welcoming looking after our stateroom really does make a difference.
At Sabatini’s, Darwin and Darsh have been exceptional, and they deserve a very special mention.
Darwin has been absolutely brilliant. From the moment we first met him, he made us feel genuinely welcome. He is incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive, and he has a wonderful way of making you feel like a valued guest. He remembers the little details, checks that everything is exactly as you want it and is always one step ahead.
What really stands out about Darwin is his personality. He is warm, engaging and has such a lovely sense of humour. He makes conversation naturally and creates such a relaxed atmosphere that you actually look forward to seeing him again. His enthusiasm for his work is obvious, and you can tell he genuinely cares about giving guests a great experience.
Darsh is also fantastic and a true wine connoisseur. His knowledge of wine is impressive, but what makes it even better is the way he shares that knowledge. He is passionate, engaging and clearly loves what he does. His recommendations have added another dimension to our dining experience.
Dennis from Photography has also been a pleasure to deal with. He is friendly, approachable and makes the whole photography experience fun and relaxed. He has a lovely way with people and made us feel comfortable from the start.
And a special mention to Joan, who introduced us to the Caymus Wine Experience. She was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate about the experience that she really captured our interest. Her enthusiasm was infectious and made us want to try something a little different.
The Caymus Wine Experience itself was a real highlight, and Chef Gerald deserves a special mention for the delicious meal he prepared. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavour and complemented the wines wonderfully. His cooking really helped make the experience feel special, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
These are the people who have made our cruise special. It’s easy to remember the ship, the destinations and the food, but ultimately it’s the people who create the memories. Oreo, Darwin, Darsh, Dennis, Joan and Chef Gerald have all made a real impression on us, and we genuinely appreciate the care, enthusiasm and personality they have brought to our cruise.
They are a real credit to Princess.

Just finished our 4th cruise with Princess and we cannot fault them. The beautiful staff are what keep us coming back. Just as friendly and attentive at the end of the cruise as they are at the beginning. The embarkation and disembarkation has been smooth and trouble free every time. Sky Princess is a beautiful ship and we look forward to returning in 2 years for a Baltic voyage.
We recently completed a 7-day Alaska…
We recently completed a 7-day Alaska cruise on the Emerald Princess, and unfortunately, for the amount of money we spent and the expectations we had going into the trip, the overall experience fell far short.
Things seemed fine when we first boarded, but that changed pretty quickly once we got into our cabin. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, to say the least. There was still feces on the toilet from the previous guests, and we found used, opened water bottles left in the refrigerator. It honestly made us question whether the room had been properly cleaned at all before we arrived. Not exactly the way you want to start a seven-day cruise.
At our first port, we were delayed about 45 minutes because of weather during the overnight passage. Obviously, Princess can’t control the weather, and I don’t fault them for that. What they could control was how things were handled once we arrived. The disembarkation process was extremely disorganized. Passengers who had paid for excursions were waiting to get off the ship while new crew members were being allowed onboard. When I questioned it, I was given an explanation about maritime requirements and when crew members had to board. That may very well be true, but from a passenger’s perspective, we had paid good money for excursions with specific departure times. That should have been taken into consideration and managed much better.
Dining was probably one of our biggest disappointments. Almost every dinner became a two-hour event, whether it was a regular dining room or one of the specialty restaurants. Long dinners wouldn’t necessarily bother me if the food and service justified the time, but unfortunately, they didn’t. Service was painfully slow, and the food was consistently underwhelming. Even the specialty restaurants, where you’re paying additional money and expecting something better, lacked flavor and didn’t deliver the quality we expected.
The Emerald Princess itself also felt very dated and tired. There are areas of the ship that clearly need updating, and when you combine that with the cleanliness issues, slow service, disappointing food, and overall organization, the value simply wasn’t there for what this vacation cost.
I don’t want this review to sound like everything was terrible, because it wasn’t. Floyd and Nino at the Good Spirits Bar were absolutely a bright spot. Their personalities, sense of humor, and great service genuinely made our time onboard more enjoyable. They made us laugh, remembered us, and gave us the kind of experience we had hoped to receive throughout the ship. They deserve recognition for that.
And Alaska itself? Absolutely incredible. The scenery, glaciers, ports, and experiences off the ship were everything we hoped they would be and more. We were incredibly fortunate to experience it.
Unfortunately, the Emerald Princess didn’t live up to the destination.
For what we spent on this seven-day cruise, we expected a much higher level of cleanliness, food quality, service, organization, and overall experience. We weren’t looking for perfection—we were simply expecting the experience to match the price we paid.
Sadly, it didn’t.
A fantastic 14 day cruise on the…
We had a fantastic 14 day cruise on the Sun Princess Cruise ship starting in Barcelona on the 18th July 2026 and ending in Atherns on 1st August. We visited 10 places along the way the only place we couldn't dock at was Mykinos, due to strong winds. We were amazed at how they organised everyone going on tours
We were on the 6th deck and had a Cove balcony. Our room was a good size and was cleaned daily by our specific cabin steward, Mustofa. He was helpful and friendly all of the time. He was informative and made sure we had everything we needed. We had our dinner in the dinning room and was served each evening by Ronald and David. They worked well together and ensured we had the food we liked. They were informative about the menu and any queries we had were answered. I want to thank Mustofa, David and Ronald for their kindness towards us and ensuring we had a great experience. Simon, the Cruise Director was great and very informative. The Captain gave clear and informative information sessions. I fully recommend a Sun Princess Cruise in the Mediterranean.
Sept 9 Alaskan Cruise
Sept 9, 26
I just wanted to acknowledge the public and Princess Cruise employers directly. My friend Kelsey and I went on the Princess Emerald, the first of September on an Alaskan cruise. We really had a fun time. The places, entertainment, views, and food were beyond my expectations. I want to mention the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our personal room attendant, Mr. Moore, was so accommodating, welcoming, and friendly. He made his specialty towel animals that we looked forward to every evening and always had a smile on his face even though he had to clean our room.
I also want to mention Precious at the front desk, very helpful in trying to retrieve some sunglasses that were lost.
Somil, at the jewelry store, was very helpful and no pressure; it was fun visiting with him.
Brent, that worked in the artist studio on board, was also knowledgeable and helpful! I didn't end up buying any art, but I wanted to because Brent was so nice!
Last but not least was our favorite waiter, Eugene. He waited on us at the international café every evening; it was our favorite place to go. Even though he was busy, he would take the time to get to know us and visit with us! I think he deserves a raise!!!!!
I would give the Emerald Princess a five-star review. Thank you so much for a memorable and unforgettable vacation!
I prefer 0 stars
Unfortunately the least I can give is one star. Boarded to find that we were not in an ADA room as booked. Guest services said he would review with management about what they could do to accommodate and get back to us. Did tell us it would take a while and we could wait in our stateroom and they would call us
The stateroom that we couldn't get into with the wheelchair? There's a plan. After waiting around for 2 hours a supervisor came up and asked if they could help. Explained that they were fully booked and wanted us to make the room work. We disembarked which was another chore. Oh and refund you have to email customer service and wait for them too look into it. Once they accept the cancellation another 10 days for money. Go from trip that has everything paid for to try and find something to do for our vacation now. Stay clear of this cruiseline
Not great
We have cruised on many cruise lines, this was our first time with Princess on Sun Pricness ship. The ship is hard to navigate, you have to go through room hall ways to get the main eating area and for the dining you have dead ends, it is very confusing. to. You think you are booking a 14 day or a 21 day cruise, but you are actually booking 2 or 3 - 7 day cruise, so every week the entertainment is exactly the same, same artists, same shows. It gets boring and there aren't really a lot of other options. The entertainment is good, but you don't want to keep seeing the same thing every day! New people come on every week and here goes the confusion all over again. We were not advised we were purchasing 2 - 7 day cruises, we were told it was a 14 day cruise where you would expect something different every day.
Travelling Crown Princess New York-…
We traveled from New York to Sydney on the "Crown Princess." You can tell the ship has been in service for 20 years; I think a modernization would be great. That aside, we had wonderful experiences with the crew and the places we visited. Some staff members go far above and beyond. It creates such a great atmosphere that you overlook the fact that the ship is "older." Everyone was constantly working to keep the ship in good condition. The app is too slow, though...
OMGoodness this was an amazing trip
OMGoodness this was an amazing trip. There were five (5) of us and all our first time on Princess. The ship may be older but it is updated, we were on the Coral Princess. The staff were amazing!!! So friendly and helpful no matter where you were on the ship. There is so much to do on the ship at all hours of the day, trust me you will not get bored. Ha. The food was really good and I think within our time for the week we ate at most of the places. The entertainment was good. We had the most amazing servers for our dining time, Tarwanto and Ardi were the very best. Wong at the customer service desk was so engaging and had us cracking up every time we stopped by. Our Stateroom attendant Cyrus took amazing care of us. Their use of the medallion was perfect and made navigating anything on the ship from purchases to getting on and off super easy and convenient. A cruise everyone said they would take again!!! #princesscruises, #cruises, #funcruises, #costcotravel

My favourite cruise line without a shadow of doubt. They just do it right for the average man who saves hard to have a great holiday. Am not rich or middle classed just an everyday working man who likes to be looked after and made to feel special on such a fantastic network of cruise ships. Thankyou Princess keep up the great work
Princess Cruises are one of the best.
Princess Cruises are one of the best cruise lines we have sailed with, we have sailed with them now three times and will be returning to them again the crew and staff are very friendly and professional the ships are spotless the food on board is very enjoyable and always a great choice. I would not hesitate to recommend Princess to friends and family thank you Princess for a most enjoyable cruise and hope to see you all again soon.
This was my first cruise and trip to…
This was my first cruise and trip to Alaska, though I am a Travel Advisor who has booked cruises with other lines. I chose Princess because it seemed ideal for an Alaskan itinerary, but unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives.
Our wait staff, event hosts, and cabin steward, Jerry, were wonderful, and dinner was very good. However, lunch and dessert often felt more like cafeteria food.
The biggest issue involved the Premier Package. Before sailing, I contacted Princess and upgraded three family members. Once onboard, we were told only one guest had been upgraded. Guest Services could not explain the discrepancy, and upgrading the other two guests would cost significantly more than the online price. When I requested clarification, Sylvia, the Guest Services manager, was dismissive and told us to “take it or leave it.” I was advocating for my clients, not being rude. We later learned others experienced similar issues.
Some ports felt rushed, and many passengers, including my husband and me, became ill. While several staff members were excellent, these problems significantly affected our vacation. I am unsure whether I would choose Princess again or recommend them to clients.
