I doing my shopping as always for the past 35 yrs. In prencess auto specialy in dixie and mid way Mississauga before even they use to be in eglenton and dixie now im asking about one associate that is have a knowledge of the item i was looking for so started asking questions and in the process where interrupted by one customer impatiently asked even me and the tires associate explaining the difference on the tires i was looking for now because i kind as the inpatient customer to wait his turn like i did waited to. Now the customer kind agieteted so so i said to the customer he is helping the guy customer gave me a word i did not understand so i kind said to the customer he has to wait his like i did. So he got mad and now the associate doesn’t want to help me and i told the tire associates that can i talk to the team leader for a proper assistance now this associate instead of helping he pointed at me which direction i have to look for myself to find one team leader now when i spoke to the leader she just said ask the tire associate but i said to the team leader on duty the associate doesn’t want to help me so that’s why im looking for a duty team the way i always fixed any issues so i can move on my normal shopping this team leader is getting side with the tires associate even with further investigation the issue now there both ignoing me I don’t know what just happened no explanation from the team leader i just waiting here with out a further assistance and left with no help. Now is this how I should be treated as a good customer of princess auto as a loyal customer for more than 3 decades or more. Please kind help me I don’t want to stop shopping from my favourite stores for a long time because one team leader being biased. Thanks so much hope to hear from a higher management. Regars

Horrible place to deal with. Won’t ship products to store that are on sale if out of stock. Make you pay for shipping fees if you want to ship to house. Spending $400 and won’t help you out. Pathetic franchise.

problem with web site showing order details from past orders they keep saying they will fix it and have not done so after several weeks. \i have been a loyal customer for years and this is not the "royal service" we expect. For years customers could see pictures and info on items of past orders this is now broken and i am dissappointed in this age of tech that they do not have the ability or interest in customer service to fix it. \i have sent them feedback online and phoned customer service site is still broken

First time ordering from PA online store. Sent an email saying order has shipped, three days later send an email stating they cancelled part of the order. So don't order anything you need in a timely manner. go to another site that actually has stock when they sell it to you.

1 Star because they ship by worst dum ass company Purolator freight. My truck pallet was ship from Kingston and it was coming 1.5 hours from Kingston because I'm just outside from Ottawa. Why is it in Etobicoke and it sat there now being 3 businessdays and still there. Why is it in the GTA area when it's suppose to be coming to the Ottawa area. Is it because your owning company Canada Post is on strike? we play the let's piss off customers game. Never again Princess Auto and as a matter of fact I found it $100.00 cheaper than you and you charge me for the shipping I should have pick my own shipper better yet I will send it back once I get it some day eventually possibly in 2024 maybe, eat up the shipping cost you loose a sale and I buy a better one somewhere else $100.00 cheaper therefore I won't loose as much.

Princess Auto is an extreme in customer satisfaction. I love the range of products and "advertised" pricing; quality is decent, but can be hit and miss. What I hate: If I go in any store with a list of items I want, it is a tortuous hunt to find anything. Nothing appears in a rational location. Even the same type of items can be located in 4-5 different locations around the store. Want a hacksaw; check 4 places where saws might be located to find. Ask an associate - they have no clue either. Much of the pricing is a mystery, need to find an associate to price check half my cart because I'm unsure due to poorly or non marked pricing. Inventory is often unavailable, even 2 days into a new sales catalogue. The business model and products have potential, the ease of finding or receiving what you intended is nearly impossible.

I tried to order a pressure washer online at princess auto. They couldn’t do it that day. It took 4 day to finally get it ordered. The shipping method was terrible. I recieved it today 2 weeks and 3 days later. The box it was in was destroyed with the hose and things falling out the bottom. Then I discovered the invoice needed to be edited. I need my company added to the invoice for accounting purposes. They won’t do it. I ordered this for my company and it’s invoiced to me. I’m not trying to do anything underhanded. I just want my company name added to the invoice. Now after all the delays I have to pay for this out of my pocket. Rotten service!!!!!

I believe Princess Auto is poorly run are doing a bait & switch policy. Long story short, I had to replace thousands of dollars of tools that were stolen from me. I have had at least 3 representatives in different locations over a couple of years tell me that their tools of very good quality and all tools are guaranteed for life. That's the sucker's hook. Tools I have purchased only a few years ago are now discontinued. They want you to register your phone number to track your purchases so keeping your receipt is not necessary. When you try to return a broken tool it has been discontinued or replaced with a different model that looks exactly the same, down to the box. Then they tell you there no record of that purchase so the only thing they can offer is the last / lowest last sale price. A tool I paid about $26, they offer $12 or take your tool and get out. I have had this happen to me with both the power fist and titan tool lines. I also see huge reduction in tool inventory in both Brantford and London store locations. I would guess that if you bought any of those tools that are no longer on the shelf, the same policy would apply. I have bought a welder and thousands of dollars of hand tools, their system shows I've only ever purchased two small items. Unless it's a one time use tool, that you just need for that one little job, and you don't mind it has no value after you leave the store, I will never spend my money at the princess store. I can not express how disappointed I am in this Canadian based business .

On June 11th theypicked up my truck where pretty much on time which was good but that's where the last good thing happened. When they picked up the truck both the broker and driver where informed of a slow leak on the tire I was told no problem we will air it up before unloading. So its now June 24th the date was supposed to be at NOVA SOCITA I call repeatedly for 3 days NO RESPONSE on Thursday July 27th I get pictures of the truck saying it's fine but they show the hoods been damaged and the tire has been drove off the rim that they say I am now responsible for. I repeatedly call and .essayed from the 27th till July 5th no response they won't even tell me where the truck is. On July 10th I get a message that they where going to load it but couldn't because of the tire. I lose it and say why isn't that fixed and then get told it's my responsibility so I make 3 calls and have it fixed that day at a 400 cost to me. They still won't tell me where the truck is and they make the tire guy go through them to fix it then they dodge my calls till July 17th and then let me know I am responsible for shipping it the rest of the way and now are responsible for storage fees for the truck in Montreal but still won't give me the address. On July 20th I have a new driver to pick it up but they won't give me the adress and want payment before giving me any information. I had to call the RCMP and the lot and eventually got the truck released to another driver on July 26th
So they had my truck from June 11th till July 26th that's 55 days with almost no contact be very careful using these guys I will be seeing them in court for the costs I injured fixing the truck and recovering the truck from montreal

I had a positive experience recently. I purchased a generator recently. I had trouble with it? Called the store in Grand Prairie, spoke with a young store Associate, Aaron and he tried to help over the phone. I was able to return the generator next day for replacement . I did not have my receipt aand the lady was able to retrieve it from their system, got my replacement, Aaron came out and loaded my replacement generator. That simply was the best service

Over I really like Princess Auto. Definitely favorite especially because of their no-hassle return policy. This review is related to their own product review on their website. I always wondered why there are so few reviews for such a popular retailer. I discovered recently it’s because they don’t allow any critical or negative reviews - even the slightest ones on their website. I wrote one review for a product that was moderately critical and it never showed up on their website. I recently submitted a 3 star review for a mini excavator I paid $10,000 for. The purpose was to provide them and their customers an honest opinion of what I liked and disliked about it so prospective purchasers could make an informed buying decision. After a couple of days, I got this email from them:
“ Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!”
So what’s the point of sharing if honest reviews aren’t allowed??? I rely on reviews to make informed purchases. I would have expected more from Princess Auto
Stock Issues
Two issues: (1) Customer service desk, slow and seemingly uninterested with the customer and (2) Lack of stock, been there a number of times to purchase an item(s) from their flyer only to find they are consistently sold out and no more coming in.
