I do not understand all the negative reviews. I have used them for many years with great service. I ordered cartridges last Sunday & got email to say sent out on the Monday. Received Thursday which is about right due to the slow post service lately. I have already used one of the new cartridges & it is working fine. I may not be getting the number of pages that Epson say their cartridges will print but who cares at £2.99p for an indibidual compatible one & got a set of 4 colours for £5.99p used to be £10.99p. To me it is a no brainer.

What a mistake. Clearly avoid in August as no-one seems to be around. Took over 3 weeks for delivery and no communication

Tried twice to order cartridges but without success. When the Sagepay window asks to confirm payment, system crashes, server not found. Hope you haven't taken my money!
After many years of good service I'm afraid it's goodbye Printcartridgedirect!

I've been trying off and on for over a week to order cartridges from the website. However nearly every link I click returns

The requested URL was not found on this server.

I phoned the company to report this and was told "some uses have encountered this but others haven't". I've tried different laptops and different browsers, to no avail. The company seem very complacent about this major software issue that will, if not corrected, will put them out of business!

I have seen all these negative reviews. I have used compatible cartridges with my Epson XP 305 printer from this company for years with no issues. Web site easy to use, easy to order, very prompt service, free delivery in the UK & a set of all colour cartridges for £10.99p at one sixth of Epson prices.
When you put the cartridges in the printer discourages you by saying"cartridge not recognised" just move indicator off the "discontinue use" by hitting the upward arrow to move up to continue using. Now & then the printer will say crtridges not recognised do you wish to continue. Printer sets it to "no" so just arrow up to "continue using".

I’ve used this company before and it’s been fine, however there was an issue with my last order and the customer service I received was shocking. I was being blamed for entering my delivery address incorrectly, when I had the order confirmation (which I sent them) with the correct address on. I understand there can be faults but they took no responsibility, gave no apology and told me I would have to just wait and see if the package had been returned to them. This is all after they had taken the money from my account. I finally spoke to someone on the phone who has ensured me it’s being posted to my address, but the level of customer service was so poor that I’m unlikely to use them again and wouldn’t recomend.

ordered ink it did not arrive they are not answering my Emails. It looks like I have wasted my money !!

I wasn't sure about buying compatible cartridges but was reassured by positive reviews about Print Cartridge Direct. I was pleased that the cartridges for my Advent printer arrived speedily. I didn't need to use them immediately but when I did need to change them it was because my daughter urgently needed to print out work for next day.

I put the cartridges in and they were not recognised, I took them out and tried again, tried turning the printer off, tried all sorts of different things which didn't work so sent email to customer services. They sent PDF file with list of things to try. Tried the one thing they suggested that I hadn't already tried and still couldn't get the printer to recognise the cartridges.

Customer services say that they will only replace/refund once they've had cartridges back and tested them. I'm not happy as I've not got a usable printer. I'm not a complete idiot, I know how to fit my printer cartridges - they simply don't work - I suspect the chip is to blame.

So much for the "no quibble money back" refund they refer to on the website.

You may be lucky and get cartridges that work, but if you don't then don't expect it to be easy sorting it out.
