I was replacing a vegetable knife
I was replacing a vegetable knife. I asked the assistant where/how I should dispose of the unwanted knife. She advised that I could hand it in at my local Manned Police Staion or at the local tip, provided it had a blade acceptance policy. Great advice. Great service.

Fantastic customer service
I purchased a dinner set and then went back to buy a box of each item to have as spares Incase of any breakages. The young lady called her manager that was working in Basingstoke store and asked her to bring a box of pasta bowls over as I had already taken the last of the Bordon stock. So a very BIG Thank you to both staff they are a credit to the company and could teach the staff at John Lewis in Chichester how to deal with customers.

Salt and pepper mills
The ladies were very helpful in advising us regarding our purchase. They were happy to unpack the boxed item, to let us have a closer look, and discuss the products merits. With their help we purchased salt and pepper mills which are rechargeable and have proved to be superior to the ones we already have.
