If only I could give zero stars

If only I could give zero stars. Procosplay advertises that your delivery will arrive in 5-15 days. I ordered a month and a half in advance just in case and put in my event date. Procosplay completely disregarded my event date despite knowing about it for a month and a half. About a month in, I was worried there was no update on the processing and contacted them. They have not even started on my order but stated they would have it completed. About a week before my event date (again, which they knew about for a month and a half), I checked in again. Of course, they respond that they cannot meet delivery by my event date. You could have just let me know a month and half earlier if you knew you could not meet your customer's needs instead of keeping me hanging. At least I could have tried to get a costume through other means. Procosplay is not professional or to be trusted. I for sure will never order anything from them ever again.

My order has never been shipped

I paid for my order in 10th October, the item was stated as 'ready to ship' in their website but my order has never been shipped at all. I asked them about shipping date, and I was told in 15th October that it will be shipped within 2 days and my order's status shows that it has not been shipped yet. Since my home address is in the UK, I have no belief that my order will arrive in the right time.

I ordered my costume over three weeks…

I ordered my costume over three weeks ago, it was not tailored and it was an available size the event is October 23, I payed extra for shipping. I wrote them four emails, they responded 5 days later stating my order would make it and would be shipped today via fastest method. Today I get another email stating that unfortunately there was damage to my costume and has to be redone and to make other plans as it won’t make it on time. To make matters worse I have not heard back about getting refunded the whole amount. Down $200 with no costume for this huge event! Do not buy, false advertising and fraud!

This company is an absolute scam

This company is an absolute scam. I placed an order for a green lantern costume over 7 weeks ago, paid extra for tailored measurements and express shipping. They NEVER shipped the item. On their website, it clearly says that all items would be shipped in 1 to 3 weeks. After 5 weeks I reached out to the company to get a status update and they kept giving me the run around. "Tony" would always said things like "Hopefully we can ship it soon" or "sorry, we are really busy right now". After the last message, they stopped responding to my emails all together. "Alice" doesn't respond either. At the time that I am writing this review it has been 2 months with no contact and no shipment. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company for help. Please do not give this company your business, they are here to steal your money.

To make matters worse, because this company is based in China, you are not able to file a complaint with the BBB. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY AT ALL COST.

horrible

horrible, I ordered a cosplay over maybe 3 weeks ago and paid to get it here in 20-30 days. now I know it hasn't been the full amount of time but when I look up to see my order being tracked it says the email and package number is untraceable. so I'm pretty sure I just got scammed of $135 they don't have phone number that I am able to speak to a real person so I sent a email but even then I don't know if a real person will respond.

Order never came!

I ordered an Anakin Skywalker (ep 2) cosplay for my boyfriend for Comic-Con and I even paied extra for express shipping to ensure it got here in time (which my shipping dates for express we’re well early of my con dates) the costume never came, I never got a tracking number, and they stopped responding to my emails. It’s now officially two weeks after con and I still don’t have my costume.

*update* FINALLY heard from them after writing this review and they told me they didn’t even start the costume and that they can get it to us by Halloween, when I did express shipping for a September Comic-Con…
I did FINALLY get a refund after harassing them for a full month…

Scammed in a good way?

I have very mixed feelings about ProCosplay. I started off by not being sent any order confirmation or shipping information. After contacting them I was sent the shipping info. It was supposed to be coming from China but UPS said the shipping label was created in the US? Then I was sent an email from UPS saying my package from Amazon would be arriving. It was delivered at my door about 2 weeks after ordering it with the box beat up pretty badly. However, shipping was a lot faster than expected and all of the items were in their individual packaging apart from the box. The receipt in the box said "CosFantasy" and when I looked it up it is a shop on Amazon that sells the costume i bought for $20 more. I'm honestly just confused lol.

When I purchased the black widow costume followin my measurements are well within what the is on their website. When I received it I put it on it was waaay to small and short, couldn't even move properly, made my boobs looking like a dang pancake. It feels like extra small rather than small. I sent an email asking if I could have a medium before it ship out but been told the small one will fit better. That was wrong. I'm very disappointed, when I contacted them they keeps telling me to "Could you kindly please submit a message with the situation you mentioned through this link?" Which I did. I'll get the same request 3 times. I thought by ordering from you shouldn't be a problem at all, what a bummer.

Didn’t get the full outfit

I ordered a costume of Rengoku from Demon Slayer that came with a wig, a sword, and a costume. After waiting to get it, it finally arrives only the sword and NOTHING ELSE! I’m sad because I really needed this costume, and I dropped over $200 for it

Large size captain america winter soldier

I purchased my captain American winter soldier costume Large and my measurements are well within what the spectrum is on their website. I received it today and when I put it all on the top half was too short to tuck in. A lot of good money was spent with high expectations. Get custom size or don’t get one at all.

Part 1

Part one is about the website and reviews I've seen online as I have yet to receive my cosplay. All the YouTube videos (other than 2) have been extremely positive and have good results for quality, accuracy etc. The website and sizing were also very easy to operate. I've talked to a few cosplayers if they would recommend ProCosplay and they all have said yeah as they themselves have purchased multiple costumes from the site. I will write a part 2 once my Gotham Knights Robin is in but so far I have high hopes as my bestfriends batman, green arrow, and captain America were excellent aside from some floppy holsters and quiver.

Deadpool kids suit - A+ experience

I ordered a kids Deadpool costume on June 2 2021 and it arrived about a month later. It was my first purchase from this company and I’m extremely pleased with the product and quality. I measured my grandson for the fit and he was at the high end of measurements for a Small. The suit is very form-fitting but it looks excellent. But if for Halloween I would order size up. I’ll order more from here and the price was great for what I received! I have wonderful photos of my grandson in the suit but can’t see where to post them here.

Rude and judgmental

My last experience with procosplay has made me swear it off forever. I've ordered from here three times and I've only had one good experience (the only time I didn't do custom sizing). The second time I ordered I got multiple emails asking me again and again to remeasure because they said my body couldn't possibly be correct because my thigh measurement had to be wrong because it wasn't normal for my bigger size. It took a week for them to respond to me every time and they kept asking for photos asking me to prove my measurements. I had to threaten a refund just to get them to back off.

Now the third time I ordered from them I ordered a costume for Evie from descendants. A day after ordering I suddenly get an email stating they were running out of material and they couldn't make it in my size because I was to large I asked about the other evie costume and the mal costume until finally i just asked for the refund. They said they'd refund me but a week later and I still have not gotten any of my money back. The place really should have stated that they couldn't do custom after a specific size.

In both these cases I feel like this had everything to do with my weight and I felt majorly judged.

Please hear me out, we checked your measurements multiple times because it was a custom size, we wanted to make sure it will fit well. I understand it's a lot of trouble and very annoying. It has nothing to do with body judging. Same as the Evie costume, we double checked your measurements, but unfortunately, we couldn't be able to make it perfect. That's why we refused this order. We don't want to let you down if the costume couldn't fit well. Besides, we have the costume material cut in pieces already, and we adjust the size based on those cut material. This costume is not a new character, we couldn't find material suppliers at this time. This covid makes everything harder than ever, especially for business. Lots of suppliers close down, there are not much choices for us.

We are deeply sorry, hope you can get the costume sooner!

We make each costume according to different order, OTM service, usually we can fullfill most orders or at least email those we cant make, and customers can choose to switch other items or get a refund. There is no forced purchasing or tricks. Honest makes a great business. What's more, we are all going through this awful epidemic situation, everything gets worse, for each of us and every business. However, we will do our best to keep this company on gear and continue to provide better service!

I have ordered a ton of stuff from Procosplay, and while I may sometimes not get an email from the company itself about confirming my order, I pay via PayPal and I always get a confirmation that the payment was sent. Typically a week or three later, my order arrives. Pay attention to the size charts and go with your gut. I usually order according to my height and hip measurements. I have larger ribs than most due to having a tumor expanding them years back, but usually if I stick to these two measurements I get something that fits. If not, the customer service is kind and tries to work out exactly what the problem is and tries to find a solution for it, whether it be refund, discounted items, remaking the order, or a return. Designs of the cosplays are always on point. Shoes are a little tight, but it could be I just measured wrong or my feet are wider than most. All in all a good company and products.

Everything worked well when buying at…

Everything worked well when buying at Procosplay. For my own cosplay it was custom sized, and it was an almost perfect fit. For the cosplay for my niece I went with a size from the size chart. It fit her well. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that you dont really get a shipping status, and also when you log into the site again, your order is still "ongoing" even though you already received your outfits. Company is good, customer service is attentive and responsive, quality is alright compared to price. As a buyer you also need to keep in mind that it can take time to produce and ship, and as it is from China you need to check custom rules, as maybe you will have to pay customs. I did pay a little bit of customs but that is just how it is. I recommend this company. ...Beware of fake and copy company that calls themselves something similar to procosplay. Make sure you have the right company.

I ordered a costume from here. I never recieved an email confirmation with my order, which I thought was sus. I tried getting in contact with them several times asking for a confirmation email and then a refund, but never an answer. Eventually I had to file a dispute with Paypal and got a refund in my favor. My order was never fufilled. Do not place an order with these guys, they just steal your money.
