I purchased a Sony Concert 77 wireless mic system to use in my business. The system arrived with a foreign power lead and I had to purchase an adapter from Argos (PR eventually sent the right one).

The system stopped working after about 3 weeks use. Technical support from PR was non-existent, as they didn't know anything about the product (told me to phone Korg). Offered to fix it if I sent it back to them. PR didn't offer to pay the postage or supply me with an alternative system in the meantime - it was going to take over two weeks to repair and I would lose business as a consequence.

Ended up buying another system from a local company who assured me they would replace it if it broke within the first three months. PR should take note.

I will send the system back for repair, as PR haven't given me any other choice. Watch this space.....

Production-room has been a wonderful shop for any music-related products I needed. Their professionalism holds a high standard and the customer support is extraordinary. Also the price for my speakers was £300 less than all the other 'major' shops, in addition to 10-month no ARP option when you buy such expensive equipment. I recently ordered my first item from the Production Room and I found them to be fast, efficient and friendly. I received my item very quickly and even had a phone call off them to double check my address and to confirm that my item would be on it's way ASAP.

I'd be more than happy to use them again and look forward to future purchases from them.

Not only was I Mislead by the web video regarding software that was supposedly included with the unit, when I questioned the staff at the Production Room, they informed me that Korg had stopped supplying the software. A quick email to Korg and the software was on my doorstep the next day.

SO WHY COULDNT THE PRODUCTION ROOM DO THAT

I called up to ask about the stock of a subwoofer and the lady on the phone told me the product had actually been discontinued. The lady then gave me a great recommendation of a very good alternative subwoofer. I ordered it the next day, and recieved it a couple of days later. I also got a text message telling me the time it would be delivered and they were bang on! No complaints whatsoever!

I purchased some mics and the delivery was fast, I had an issue with one of the mics(personal taste) and it was replaced with different product within a matter of days usually this could take weeks at other stores. I highly recommend to anyone who needs music gear and needs it quick

I really value being able to go into a local store to try out gear before I buy it and every time I've paid Production Room a visit I've received helpful and professional advice without feeling any pressure to make a purchase. I have also found their online customer service to be excellent and received a reply to my query within a couple of hours.

All this combined with their price match guarantee will keep me coming back to Production Room for as long as I need new gear and my wallet will allow it. Thoroughly recommended all round.

I ordered online in mid January, unbeknown that it was out of stock. A few days later, Production room rang me up to say they it would be a couple of weeks because it was new and they hadn't received it yet. They still took my money for a product they'd never received themselves though.

Five weeks later, they apparently tried to send it. By this time I'd given up and had to buy the item elsewhere.

When I eventually rang them 8 weeks from the initial purchase to get my money back, they lied by saying it failed delivery 3 times. I had no call or note posted through my door. They also threatened me with deducting the 'delivery charges' from my refund.

It took a further two weeks and a reminder for them to refund the full amount.

Again, what a palaver.

After shopping around extensively I found Production Room to be the cheapest by far of all its competitors on the Tascam DR100 Mk2 portable recorder , not only that but the service was lightening quick. Ordered Sunday night delivered Tuesday morning.

i was looking around for pa50sd, korg advice me they are authorised sellers, called them on phone, friendly, fast dispach, 4 star is because my order had to come with a free gift but no gift was in the pack.

Great Customer service, and depth of knowledge across a wide range of products - from Roland Vdrums kits , all kinds of new and "exotic" synths to DAWs and studio-quality headphones.
Oh, and they made me loads of cups of coffee too. Bonus!

Wether your looking to buy dj gear or some serious production or performance gear these guys and girls are fantastic. Just drop in and have a chat with them. I never made to feel like a broke bum when I only purchased cables...nor did I feel pressured when I made drum machine purchase. They tend to have a lot of deals going on all the time and the staff will let you demo gear and leave you to it if you wish or give you a run through. Most of them have some form of music background which is great.

Finding a store in Leeds that supplied and had an Alesis DM10 drum kit in store proved nearly impossible. But the Production Room not only had them in, they guaranteed to match the best price in the U.K.

However, in the same week as I was looking to buy the kit, another music shop were offering a fully equipped bundle. This didn't phase the guys at Production Room. True to their word, not only did they match the bundle price they also provided better equipment with the bundle.

What more could I ask for? Oh yeah, even with the convenient parking right outside the front door, the sales staff helped me with it to the car!

A grade, 5 star service. Production Room is the only place I will shop for all my music needs now.

10 out of 10 for service and delivery. Always receive items next working day and they have price matched and beaten a price found elsewhere on 2 occasions for me.

As a Leeds College of Music student, and regular gigging musician (keyboard player) I was looking to broaden my musical horizons by buying some quality monitors to mix recordings with (and go in to a more producer style role). As soon as I entered the store I got a great vibe from the staff and the layout. I was greeted as I went in, but I wasn't treated like some easily fob-able beginner (which is a real gripe of mine when I normally enter music shops).
I was allowed to look round in my own time, and when I asked to hear some monitors the guy there even set me up three pairs of speakers to put against each other, and when I explained my needs to them they immediately pointed me in the direction of the best value, yet quality monitors - over the more fashionable lower quality ones I was looking at.
Needless to say I bought a pair of Yamaha HS50's that day, and I would buy all my other equipment from there, as this is a company that I truly feel I can trust in. Plus to top it off they offered me student discount, I didn't even need to ask.

I have had repeated purchases from Production Room - and they are now my favourite music tech supplier. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and whether you speak to them over the phone or in store - I have never felt pressurized into buying like some stores I use. The shop itself is a great place to get 'hands on' with gear and has a good friendly feel about it with lots of tech on display. The best music tech shop by far.

I have placed many orders with these guys, spoken to them on the phone spend a few grand here and there, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
they match the price you need with a service you just can't fault.

All of the guys know there stuff, nothing is too much effort, all my stuff turns up next day, Korg m3, Korg Kornos, sound modules software.

I haven't been to the store, but am planning to go there see if I can't get a free cuppa.....
