Loving the desk

Great, really great product. The star ding is because we had missing screws in some and too many in others. Had to wait a few more weeks to get the right screws they weren’t the kind found at a normal hardware store). Otherwise, really love the desk!

Arrived broken twice. Cancelled the order. Their customer service didn't seem to care.

Solo Rizer desk = amazing!

I ordered a Solo Rizer desk. There was some delivery confusion on the part of the delivery company, but Progressive Desk's customer services sorted it out immediately. Even with that the desk arrived on time.

The desk is fantastic, very sturdy and lovely finish (bamboo). I use it every day in both sitting and standing configurations and so far it has been amazing. I have used standing desks before in an office environment and this one is as good, looks better and is much cheaper... and by a Canadian company.

My only complaint, and it's not really a complaint since these things happen, is that the tabletop arrived very slightly damaged in a couple of places (two little dents). That said, it hasn't impacted my enjoyment of the desk.

The actuators worked. The controls didn't.

The actuators worked in an acceptable manor. The controls, on the other hand, did not work at all and there was little to no documentation available through the website or support. Had to return two control boxes and still don't have a solution from the company. I literally had to build and program my own controller. It seems like they are a reseller as opposed to a manufacturer, which is fine, but it limits the support they can provide.

10/19 Update - To clarify, my review stems from purchasing synchronizer boxes that were not functional. One arrived and provided a hall effect error code that could not be diagnosed by the tech support. A new unit was sent to replace the faulty box. The new unit was also exhibited the same fault. The staff I dealt with were extremely courteous and helpful, but the hardware I purchased was flawed.

Finally, the desk I have always dreamed of!

I love this desk! (Now that it is finally put together, that is.) The plusses predominate with Progressive (excuse the ultra-alliteration). The initial response to my queries about some of the specifics of cost, the right configuration, and specifications was quick and helpful. I was sent a link to spec details and illustrative drawings and given an email with an address to contact if I had further questions. My subsequent phone call was answered quickly by someone understandable (I'm 65 and have hearing loss). That representative was cordial, patient, knowledgeable, and matter-of-fact, and identified what would come with the desk and what would not, so I knew pretty well what to expect. When the desk and its parts arrived (five boxes with desk, frame, and accessories - and HEAVY), there were no surprises. The order was filled exactly as I intended. I originally back-ordered the desk about 2 months out, and the delivery came the week they originally stated it would.

The only criticism I have, and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because the directions are minimal and do not provide crucial guidance in how to measure and arrange the desk components to fit particular configurations. Not being experienced or adept at fitting things together spatially and making too many assumptions about how it would fit together, I had to re-do parts of the frame once and re-configure frame components almost completely after I realized the predrilled holes underneath the desk tops would not match up with how the frame was aligned. It wasn't that the directions were wrong, they were just too general for a layman like me, and I presume many people who work at a desk most of the day. Progressive should really have a few different detailed steps for how different configurations of the frame can be constructed.

The desk itself is beautiful and the surface very smooth. It works very well and can be programmed and re-programmed easily for 2 different heights. I am more than happy with it now that it is together and functioning. It was well-worth the cost, given the quality of the product and and the customer service, especially if you, like I, spend hours daily behind a desk.

UPS damaged the table lift package and…

UPS damaged the table lift package and had to be sent back twice so it was a literal nightmare actually getting the desk. The desk is great, I just wish I could have had everything on time and not weeks later than expected.
*This was not an issue with progressive desk, their customer service was very helpful. Carelessness seems to be a frequent problem with all shipping couriers right now for some reason.

I love my Progressive desk

I love my Progressive desk! I was starting a new job working from home and felt investing in a proper desk was a worthy investment. 5 months later I can tell you this desk was worth EVERY PENNY!! I love desk! My only regret is not having bought one sooner!

Bent Frame & Damaged Grommet !

I received my new desk and the frame was bent and the frame stickers were worn off. The frame looked used- I contacted the customer service number and sent multiple pictures and emails. Also the black grommet was used and had drill marks on the side. Customer Service Rep ( Stanfield) gave me 15% of on the frame and Progressive claimed it was shipping damage however the box was undamaged and the metal was bent. Also they shipped out a new Grommet to replace a used one that was sent to me. I did not expect all the major hassle with the desk and sending many pictures and emails. Personally when you purchase a high price desk from reputable company- I should not have been shipped out questionable items and not given any real discount for my time and hassle! Buyer beware when you unbox their items!

Satisfied Customer

Am very satisfied with the product and overall experience. Seems to be a good company and delivered a high quality product. The only reason I don't give them all 5 stars is the long delivery time and a few delivery dates along the way. I believe it took about 6 weeks. Perhaps the delay was a function of supply chain issues that seem to be increasing through the pandemic.
