AVOID AT ALL COST: HORRID EXPERIENCE
I bought a ticket on line with Promovols, received an acknowledgement of receipt and file number, but 30 hours later, no e-ticket. After several tries, I eventually got Promovols on the phone. I was asked to ring its e-ticketing handling agent, GoVoyages. After finally getting someone to answer the phone, I was informed me that the ticket was cancelled at the prerogative of the company. I asked how the company could not honour its sale and how it could fail to inform me immediately and was told to go and book myself another ticket (of course, probably at a different price too). I asked to speak to a manager, and was impolitely told there was no manager, no name, no number to ring, no recourse. I asked again for the name/contact details of a manager - to no avail - and for the name of the agent I was speaking to. In the end, the agent would only give me the general number of Promovols which I already had (and which had bounced me off to its handling agent) and she finally reluctantly gave me her first name only (Maude). She did a very very bad client service job: she just wanted to get rid of me and wasn't helpful at all. I then tried to ring Promovols 3 times after hanging up but could not get through and whilst doing that, got a standard message by e-mail (over 30 hours after the initial booking) saying that my flight reservation had been cancelled. At that point, I stopped: no point in wasting my energy. Needless to say that I have blacklisted both Promovols and their e-ticketing agent GoVoyages, who could not honour their sale, was unreliable, did not advise me immediately, and treated me / the client extremely impolitely and badly. Of course, I got my ticket from a more reliable source... and you can count on me to tell all those I know to avoid both Promovols and GoVoyages. I will never buy a ticket through Promovols and GoVoyages again.
