Over Two Weeks and Still Pending Without Clarity
I am extremely disappointed with this background screening process.
My background check was initiated on March 11, and as of March 23, it remains incomplete due to an ongoing education verification. This has now been pending for over a week, despite me proactively providing requested documentation.
I was informed that the documents were received and are being verified. However, after contacting the institution directly, I was told that no verification request has been received.
Additionally, I was informed that my references had been contacted, which does not appear to be accurate based on my follow-up.
The lack of transparency, inconsistent communication, and unnecessary delays create avoidable stress for candidates. There is no clear explanation of what is being verified or why the process is taking this long.
Overall, this experience feels disorganized and inefficient, and does not respect candidates’ time.
