As mentioned in many other reviews recently submitted for this Company, poor poor service, order not received, several emails sent & only one reply. Don’t waste your valuable time & money with this Company.

Don’t buy from them. Just don’t bother to risk and later end up in frustration. No delivery as promised and what I paid for. They not bothered to contact and inform. Feeling annoyed I didn’t checked on them in here to see how seriously bad they are..

Ordered size 6 Dr Martens and was sent a size 3. Very unhelpful lady has stated I will be charged the collection fee to return the wrong item. I simply did not order the wrong size and see they have form with this. avoid at all costs. Lady was very curt

Sent item but courier failed to deliver and then back up was to leave in local shop failed that also. Had to pay extra £5 to get delivered next day. Item arrived and were way way to small. Store not interested and said I ordered size 10 and they sent size 10. I have wore size 10 Dr. Martens since I was 16 and now 56 so these were either seconds or copies. Again store not really interested and I have to pay my own return.
I would avoid using if goods are this quality!

Ordered shoes on line, Monday pm, arrived Tuesday am,
Doc Martens, exactly as detailed.

Ordered a mop head, bucket and handle. Order arrived next day but no mop head. On enquiry was told out of stock (though not shown as such on site or my order confirmation). Chose an alternative having been assured it would fit the handle - on delivery it was obvious it did no fit. Returned the lot. Three weeks on, still waiting for a refund. Hopeless, incompetent, do not bother with them.

Workboots should be zero VAT rated but this firm charge you best buy somewhere else.

Sad experience - ordered £48 order so qualified for next day, four days later on we have no order, no responses to any emails and only an 0870 for Customer Service (think about that one and what message it says).

We've bought locally to cover this let down as we needed the items for a customer, what a bunch of robbers these people are.

Will not be using again.

impossible to reach them - spent countless hours on the phone waiting for someone to answer... their tracking service is entirely useless... all it shows is my name and my order... absolutely no info on shipping. Ordered mid-June, still nothing!!! Stay away... I think it's a scam company!!!

I wouldn’t purchase from “ByProtectDirect” if THEY paid me. I was watching an ad on TV and they had to insult all of us volunteer mask sewers in order to sell their flimsy masks. They said they were better than those home made masks that came from who knows where. They are shown throwing them away in the garbage. I’ll tell you where those home made masks came from, they came from the heart and were given away free after hours of work. If they can’t sell theirs through their own merit then they must not be worth much.

I too read the reviews but decided to take a punt on this company.
Again, just as others have mentioned, website showed the item, ( work polo tee shirt) as in stock.
Because of the cost of the polo shirt, I would have had to pay for shipping, so decided to get some value for my money and ordered a couple of add on items, ( a trowel and some rather expensive 50ml hand sanitiser).
I get a phone call two days later, polo tee shirt out of stock-but they had still shipped the add on items!!!
A phone call prior to dispatch would have been helpful.
Customer services were hit and miss.
First lady I spoke with was rather curt and abrasive,'..T&C's,T&C's..', just not interested.
Did eventually manage to get the items refunded, after speaking to an absolutely brilliant lady named Anita, who could not do enough to help rectify the situation. Protec need more staff like her.

I was a little anxious shopping with protec direct after reading the trustpilot reviews (having already placed an order), but my shopping experience was overwhelmingly positive. Free next day delivery by FedEx, exactly as advertised. Great prices. Everything came, and it was the exact item ordered in every case. Friendly personnel when you call. My only criticism is that the after-sales contact number maybe shouldn't be 087**. Many thanks from SWCR Ltd!

When we placed order it was showing clearly IN STOCK! After 3 days Ive called asking where is next day delivery and been told is out of stock!! Stay away and do not waste your time.

This was a very good company , but not now . I ordered a jacket from their website , but another item was delivered . They then proceeded to try to say it was the same specifications when the label clearly stated it wasn't ! Eventually they agreed to a refund , minus the original postage ! Never again ! Charlatans springs to mind as an apt description .Find another company to deal with and avoid this one .

I bougt some items and unfortunately ibhave to cancel them and order again after month i still didn't get my refund
I spend 10£ on phone calls also send lots of emails
5 days ago again i was sending email and again received email from them inform me manager will look on this
So till today its over the month and i didnt get my money back
Be honest that was my first and last time when i bought any items on this shop

Website displays all items as in stock and available for next day delivery (over £25). Have ordered products from their website to later be informed that the items are not in stock and will delivered in 1 week.

According to their customer service their website does not have live stock quantities, so there is a good chance that when you order from this site, the products you order wont be available for next day delivery.

A very misleading website and will definitely consider ordering from another supplier in the future.
