Ordered last Sunday
Ordered last Sunday, said it would be delivered within 2-3 days as they are working and delivering as usual. I understand what it is going on at the moment is difficult for businesses and delivery companies but when you pay so much for an order you would expect it to be delivered within the timeframe given. Still waiting on an update of when it will be delivered a week later.
Did not receive my order, terrible customer service
I ordered two items, one was the slender blend and the other was the protein shake. When it arrived I only received the protein shake. I contacted DHL to see if they had forgotten to drop the other item and they confirmed Protein world had only authorised one item to be delivered. I immediately made contact with protein world via their delivery email. I received no response. I sent several further emails, I made contact on Instagram and sent a message through their website. To date they have not responded or offered anything in the way of apology or explanation. Absolutely appalling customer service and I had to take out a case against them through PayPal. I would never order from this company again. I have noticed that numerous other reviews have had similar issues.
It’s far to sweet
It’s far to sweet all the flavours taste the same it’s like sticking your tongue in a bag of artificial sweetener. They need to make a range without the sweet taste leave it to the customers to add sweetener if they want to. Waste of money as un edible
Awful !! Never will order again
When I first ordered with you, I was told that the orders where ok no disruption. Then I was told there where stock issues, so I requested to cancel the order, which I was told it would be done so.
Next my order shows up on my door, which once again my order was not cancelled. I have been speaking To someone called Erica.
We then spoke on numerous occasions and I sent my order back due to there also being missing items in the box. I sent this back on the 14th April as stated I would in conversations.
I stayed that I checked the tracking on the 16th and my parcel had arrived, I then decided to wait and let things take its course.
It’s been so long I’ve misplaced the receipt now, I have my bank receipt stating I paid for the return by parcel force but I have misplaced the receipt.
I have contacted you on so many occasions I’m completely at my wits end with this now.
I am a NHS worker , I’m extremely stressed, I’m away from my family as i will not put them at risk, I have asked my partner to look for the receipt but he can’t find it.
I cannot believe the way in which this is being handled. £74 of my money and your going to keep it because you say you haven’t had it when I know it’s there.
Please understand, I simply cannot walk into my home after a shift and find the receipt like you keep asking, believe me the first thing I will be doing when I walk through that door is spending every minute with my daughter.
My partner isn’t working so I have to work to keep a roof over her head in this horrendous situation.
£74 is a lot of money in the current climate.
I will never order ever again and will be ensuring that I will let others know the way I’ve been treated.

This has made me so upset and angry I feel the need to vent my situation to you as you clearly have no idea.
Don’t waste your time or money!
Everything about my order has been bad. The waiting time, the quality of the products and everything tastes so artificial and too sweet. Really not nice to eat or drink and I feel I’ve wasted my money. Such a shame as I used to like Protein World. The ingredients likely have changed. I don’t understand how they get away with charging so much for products which most of the time contain more fat and carbohydrates than protein!

I used to go buy the vegan blend from my local health shop but since the CV19 outbreak I decided to buy directly online. Firstly they sent me the wrong item and I had to contact them to query it only to be told they would look into it. As I did not want the item they sent I wanted to return it but there was no return slip or invoice sent with the item. It turns out not only did I have to print the return slip and address label myself but I also had to pay for the return postage which I do not get refunded for. I feel it isn't good customer service to make someone pay to return an item which was sent in error by the company in the first place. I won't be ordering from them again and have now found a new product so they have lost a customer who used to buy their products regularly.
cant change flavour/cant cancel
I made a subscription order to give the protein shakes a go as I have heard so many good reviews. When I received the shake I wasn’t too happy with the flavour so I wanted an option to change it for my next subscription, however there was no option to do so which I didn’t think was right as surely I should be entitled to get whatever flavour I like as long as I still pay for the monthly subscription. After all I though that as I am new to the company and protein shakes in general I have no idea what flavours taste like what and would be suited to me. After this, I thought that it would be best to end my subscription if I couldn’t get this option but as I spoke to customer service they said I couldn’t until I had paid for two orders. This didn’t sit with me right as I am unhappy with a product so I should be able to get my money back as I no longer want to receive it. In the instant case I wanted to try another flavour which I again, didn’t get the option to do so.
If the option of not being able to change the type of flavour is unavailable to a customer who is willing to pay a monthly subscription fee then I wouldn’t recommend Protein World. I am not willing to pay the monthly fee for another month for a flavour that I no longer wish to use as this would be wasted and could have been used by another customer who wanted the flavour.

No customer service!
Ive never had a bad experience with protein world until recently.
I ordered 2 slender blend on the 26th March. Almost 4 weeks later I’m still awaiting my order. I emailed initially and was told it would be dispatched in the next few days. 2 weeks later, several emails and messages to the company later, still no reply and no parcel and I’m £46 out of pocket.
I understand we’re in challenging times and I’d usually be more than happy to wait, but when they’re still running promotions and updating their social media pages in order to attract more custom but are unable to get orders out of the door, it makes you question their motivation, business manifesto and customer service.

Been on the vanilla protein shake and it’s pretty good. I’ve been mixing coffee into my morning shake and fruits into the afternoon, while usually eating food for dinner. They’re pretty filling specially paired with the fat metabolizer, hunger busters and carb blockers. I haven’t noticed any change while taking the toner pills as I take them twice and day and workout pretty intensely.
I had a bad experience with the mug cake, it tasted horrible, dry and just unpleasant. They send me a new batch but sent me the same batch number so not even going to bother opening it. I just finished making the brownies and they are terrible. Almost choked because they were so dry. Not satisfied at all with the sweet treats. I’ve asked for a refund but like I said before they just sent me a new batch which was not new at all. Just the same as the first initial one they sent me.
Will continue to order the shakes but will not try anything else as I was not satisfied at all.

add coffee to make a much nicer flavour
Just started drinking the vanilla slender blend - seems like a good product to get in a decent amount of protein & nutrients whilst keeping calories low. Flavour is way too sweet for me on its own, even using unsweetened almond milk. Much nicer with an added shot of coffee, making an iced latte as breakfast, will be perfect throughout the summer months.

Slender Blend changed.. shame!
I started using the slender blend shakes at the end of January, bought vanilla, banana and strawberry flavours in Superdrug. Lost nearly a stone which is great so I decided to invest in some larger size packs direct.
The flavours have changed as well as the consistency, banana and strawberry are now 'milkshake' flavours, I find them overly sweet and watery, also bought the peanut flavour which I really don't like. Will persevere until used up but quite disappointed as I thought this was a product I could enjoy using to control my weight long term. The new flavours feel less filling too.

I lost well over 4 stone in 5/6 months on the slender blend shakes (chocolate) the taste did change between different containers I had.. which was weird. Great product to see quick weight loss! Consumed two shakes breakfast and lunch and then food for dinner, consuming roughly 1200 calories a day, averaged out a 2lb weight loss each week.

Brownies and Biscuits
Brownies and Biscuits are awful. So full of sweetener, fake taste, felt really sick after a bite. Could not get rid of the taste for ages! So surprised as the shakes and pancakes are fantastic!
DISGUSTING PRE WORKOUT.
I have been looking for a pre workout to have in the morning before my workouts and tried protein worlds in the summer berries flavour. It is EXTREMELY sweet and very sour it was honestly the worst thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. After 30 minutes I felt a very weird tingling sensation all over my body and it made me very uncomfortable and itchy throughout my workout. The sensation lasted hours. It obviously has way too much caffeine and they have used an excess amount of sweetener. I will never be using their pre workout again, such a waste of money.

Customer service virtually nonexistent
Placed and order and was told it would be with me in 2-4 business days and was told I would receive an email once my order was ready to be dispatched. 6 business days later I’ve heard nothing. Tried multiple times to ring their deliveries team which constantly goes to voicemail. My initial email was responded to quickly and I was told my order would be shipped that day or the next and was asked if I needed anymore help. I then asked for an estimated delivery and received no response and all subsequent emails have been ignored. Terrible customer service.
Do not order, they will take payments from you monthly
I made a one off purchase for some vitamins & the order didn’t arrive, 2 weeks later after sending a few emails I finally got a reply & my order.
One month later they have debited the money again from my bank account and sent me some more vitamins. I didn’t order these & again it has taken several emails to get a reply. This time telling me I signed up to a subscription!!! Oh no I didn’t!!!! Where is the proof? Where is the email to say I have joined a subscription? Con artists!!!
I have now been in touch with my bank to stop any future payments. Beware of using this company!

Awful customer help
Awful customer response and help. My package was never delivered and I have not received any updates from protein world. They did nothing to investigate how the parcel did not go to my house and offered no help. Would never recommend using them. I have been chasing them for 2 weeks and I am now out of pocket £20 with no outcome. Absolutely disgraceful.
