Gas stop working
Gas didn't work..lasted a week..seen other customers coming back while I wasVery disappointed with the service at Protyre.
I had my car’s air conditioning serviced/recharged by Protyre, but the AC stopped working again after only about a week. While I was there, I also saw other customers returning with similar problems, being told they would have to pay around £150 for further testing.
What I don't understand is why customers are being charged £150 when Protyre advertises a free air-conditioning check that can be booked online. If the AC has stopped working shortly after Protyre has carried out the work, I would expect them to properly investigate the problem, particularly if there may be a leak, rather than simply charging customers again.
The whole situation left me very uncomfortable, especially seeing other customers coming back with the same issue and being asked to pay again. I would like Protyre to explain exactly what the £150 charge is for and why the advertised free AC check cannot be used.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend using Protyre for air-conditioning work unless you are completely clear about what you are paying for and what happens if the AC stops working shortly afterwards.

From start to finish the experience was smooth and perfect. Buying the tyres was so easy and straightforward, I had all the information I needed in one place, was given a clear breakdown of what I was buying, what discounts were available and lots of options to suit my time for tyre fitting. Then on the day, the guys changing my tyres were brilliant, fast and true professionals. It was my first time ever getting my tyres fitted but it felt so smooth I can’t wait to do it again in a few years. Highly recommend.
