No pressure
I had a slow puncture. And a damaged tyre.I saw 3 separate guys on 3 separate occasions. Each time they were fast to attend to me, polite, helpful, patient and did not pressure me. As a lady of a certain age, unusually, I did not feel patronised or stupid. I was treated with respect. And all of my visits were at anti social hours or just before closing. And on Easter Saturday. Thanks. Happy to use again.

Going The Extra Mile
At first it didn't look like I needed new tyres but then he checked the MOT records & found it was the age of the tyres & the cracks in the tyre groves that meant that the tyre needed replacing. Going the extra mile. Thank you. Also found a good price for me.

The company didn’t keep us updated with progress during the two days in the garage. We had our car booked in for a MOT as well as repair work but they failed to complete the MOT although the car was roadworthy. This was very inconvenient for us. There were insufficient staff at the end of the day and everything seemed chaotic

Absolutely brilliant customer service
Absolutely brilliant customer service. Highly recommend them for repairs & MOTs. The man on reception was super helpful. Will definitely go back to that branch for work moving forward.
Absolute disgrace do not go there.
I had an MOT moved from 11th due to their system error to 26th March at 14.30. I thought it would be a good idea to call at 09.45 just to check all was OK. I got through to their answerphone telling me that they were closed and would be open at 08.30. I left a message for them to call me to confirm that the appointment was still OK. No call back so I rang them at 13.37 and actually got through and spoke to one of the guys that works there and was told that the MOT tester has gone to the doctor but would be back to do the MOT as per the appointment.
I arrived at the garage at 14.15 no one to be seen on reception. Eventually a very scruffy guy appeared and looked surprised when I told him I was here for an MOT. He told me that the MOT tester was off sick and had not been in all day so they could not do the MOT. I told him that I had spoken to someone there and repeated what I was told by one of the other guys there. He told me that was impossible and denied anyone receiving my call and almost accused me of making it all up. I showed him proof of when I call them on both occasions. Needless to say I had a wasted journey, it was a waste of my time and a waste of very expensive diesel. I therefore asked for a refund there and then which I am still waiting for.

Good experience
Car was having a MOT. I was told how long it would take and was happy to wait in waiting room which was clean with drinks available.
I have been using this location regularly as I have always been happy with their service.
Car passed its MOT and I was also advised of things that would need sorting in the future.

Apart from an initial delay- MOT booked for2.30 but car wasnt taken into workshop until 5 past 3.
However MOT went well and very satisfied with the time that took and the price. All staff very friendly which is excellent.

This isn't the first time i have used these particular guys, they are always very helpful
MOT re-booked twice
My MOT was re-booked on the day it was due. When I turned up for the second appt, I waited 90 mins as they were running late on that day, then was told it was too late for it to be done & it needed to be re-booked again. My vehicle was then off the road waiting for the third appt as the MOT ran out that same day.
The person who re-booked this told me I would be refunded due to their poor customer service and someone would be in touch. Chased this up last week and was told it takes a longer for a response.
Protyre are normally excellent but this wasn't as good as usual.
