Trouble Sorters
My mini broke a coil spring. Having driven it home from North London to Kettering the following day I took it to Kettering Select-A-Tyre on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately they were closed so I left the car in their forecourt with my card and a short note. I had a critical hospital appointment on Monday morning which I was a bit stressed about. I called them at 8.20 a.m. (they open at 8.30 a.m.) and too my surprise Bobby answered the 'phone. He remembered me as Select-A-Tyre look after the tyres on all four of my vehicles. He sorted the situation out and asked me to call as soon as I was available, which was about 12.30 a.m. He gave me a quote for fixing things and had already ordered parts, knowing I trust him not to "screw me over". By 5 o'clock the car was sorted and now runs better than ever. A brilliant service.

This is an honest review...start wasn't great, no service with a smile...but I put it down to its they were just starting, getting themselves together. The service overall was good, definitely recommend as they went above and beyond and made some adjustments (which ended up costing more than expected!...goes to show the difference between reputable garages.

Timely remedial work for six-year-old Picanto to pass MOT
Protyre changed my front tyres. On a "health check", they identified that my rear brakes were worn. I had already been alerted to this and was worried that my car would fail a forthcoming MOT.
Protyre were able to change my brake pads and brake shoes in the same appointment. The car passed its MOT with no further attention needed, a few days later.
