Very helpful and friendly

Did what we took the car in for, mended a puncture. Helpful team, efficient and the right price.

They were very accommodating, quick and thorough

I chose a tyre on the website that was in stock but didn't book it as I didn't know if I could get there the next day. When called in next day, the price quoted after they had fitted it, was £12 more than I had told them I'd seen it for. Seems the price if you call in is a lot more than buying online.
And the tyre they fitted wasn't exactly what they billed me for but a slightly older version. Not good business practice.

Edit: the area manager got back to me, apologised, explained the pricing difference and offered to change the tyre for the correct one I'd ordered (not necessary I said) so I'm happy to use the company again in the future.

I arrived without an appointment and was sorted out promptly for which I was grateful. The people were very kind and communicative. I had been a bit nervous about going to Protyre now it was not Huw Lewis. Nervous about getting a very big bill because Huw Lewis has changed to Protyre and is no longer a local family firm - I thought maybe they would say they had had to do this and that as a routine even though I didn't ask for it. (This has happened to me before with a franchise garage when I just wanted a bulb replacing). But actually the additional advice I was given about what I was likely to need next was useful and I think I will go back to get the tracking fixed with my next new tyre.

They were efficient, and rang me part way through to ask whether I'd like them to change two worn tyres while they were at it, which was helpful.

A pleasant and business-like process. I was not kept waiting significantly, and the MOT was done on time.
Collection and hand back also done pleasantly and effciently.

I was desperate for a tyre repair after a screw became embedded in it. I was travelling to meet friends to go abroad on holiday.....so a speedy repair was necessary. I was very impressed with the friendly efficient service given to me by Protyre Machllyneth and I would highly recommend them. This is the second time I have used this garage and I wouldn't go elsewhere now.

Tyre replacement happened as expected. Brake condition report was a welcome surprise.
