They did a great job sorting my van with MOT and repairs, good communication and quick enough, it needed a lot done. I gave only 4 stars because of the £1000 cost £750 was labour at £100/hour and I thought that was quite disproportionate against £250 worth of parts. But hey if thats the going rate!

Fitting the tyres are fine but I did
Not need brake /tyres/ sprins /exhaust checked .a small job takes 1 hour

Wed 14th Jan. took car to garage. Think it’s blower motor. Did something to car. Cost over £74.
Thursday. 15th Jan. yes, it’s the blower. Going to Cost over £700. Can’t do it till next Wed.
We’d. 21st Jan. Car in garage all day for blower, but no, not that. Needs another part.but expensive, so advised to get part myself on line. Managed to get one. Cost £140.
Thurs. 29th Jan. part arrived. Went to garage. They could do it then. Didn’t work. It was the blower, ‘again’
Can’t do it till next Wed. 4th Feb.
I honestly don’t think the mechanic knew what he was doing.
Fri. 30th Jan. garage rang. Can’t do car till Thurs. 5th Feb.
Thurs. 5th Feb. Car in garage nearly all day. Blower motor done and working. Cost over £700.
This job took over three weeks. Cost £780 paid to you plus the £140 I paid for the other part, which was non refundable. I am stuck with that now.
I think it is obvious,I won’t be using you again and could not recommend you to anyone.

Car battery flat would not start.
Rang Jemma at winsford protyre ,very helpful and a new battery was fitted 11.00am next day on my drive

Had discs/pads fitted all round alongside 2 track control arms and 2 shock absorbers and an MOT at the Winsford, Cheshire branch.
From enquiry, to dropping the car off, the reception experience with Steve and Gemma, the high quality work from the fast fit technicians (Andy and Charlie), to collecting the car, the whole experience was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Well done on excellent customer service.

I initially brought my car in for two new rear tyres, however the Tech - Charlie - noticed two of the existing alloys had cracks in them and were compromised. The garage happily held on to the tyres i'd bought until I figured out what to do next.

I decided to shell out on some nice aftermarket alloys and replace all four wheels on the car.
I rang protyre Winsford back spoke with Holly who was extremely professional yet friendly and she booked me back in promptly to get my new tyres fitted and replace old wheels for the new ones, and a brake fluid change.

When I came in to get all the work done they allowed me to have a quick chat with Charlie who was the tech working on my car again. I explained to Charlie that I don't doubt his work, but equally I was nervous about the brand new wheels being fitted especially as they were gloss black! Charlie kindly agreed to fit them without using the dreaded "rattle gun" and took extra care hand tightening them up etc! Safe to say Charlie gave my Beemer the VIP treatment, the car came out not a mark on the alloys extremely professional job, and it clearly showed that Charlie and Protyre Winsford care about their customers, the work they're doing and the vehicles.
Shout out to Gemma who was the receptionist on the day as well, and Stephen the manager. Clearly running a well oiled Garage.

Wonderful. Came in with a flat tyre after hitting debris on the road. In and out with a fresh tyre fitted in less than 25 minutes.

My Fiat Panda underwent an MOT test at the Winsford branch of Protyre Autocare on the 15 January 2026.

Test started on time, it passed without any issues and the free & comprehensive inspection report onlyenhanced my previous view of a very professional and well managed business. Winsford branch of Protyre will be my first choice when tyres & repairs may be required.

Great service, MOT failed but managed to carry out the repairs within the next few days even though they were incredibly busy.

Went for 2 tyres to be told upon collection that the car would fail its MOT, they clearly knew this was due in a few weeks, was told it needed new rear spring as it was broken, bought new springs and husband fitted however…. NOTHING wrong with old ones not broken at all, clearly trying to rip people off, when I questioned they suddenly couldn’t remember the car!

Started with a Google search. Phone call receptionist very professional and friendly. Comfortable waiting area clean and tidy. Appointment as arranged. Very happy
