PSG SIPP Limited was founded in 2008 by its board members out of the conviction that most providers in this industry come from the same mould and that things could, and should, be done better. That’s from things like being transparently fee-based, to the way in which clients retain control of their investments in our products. We deal with leading regional, national and international IFAs and other professional advisers to deliver smart, accessible SIPPs to those looking for control and value for money. On the other hand, we can also deal directly with those individuals, and also businesses whose investments or plans are sophisticated, or perhaps more complex. For as long as self-invested pensions have been around, our experts have been helping people, and their advisers, to make the most of the opportunities they present.

Just wanted to warn potential customers…
Just wanted to warn potential customers of my experience with PSG.
Started my pension transfer to PSG on 4th July 2022, and 8 months later still waiting for the funds to be fully transferred.
My partner transferred her pension to Vanguard and the rest to PlanOff for crypto investment since GBP is crashing it took 72 hours.
If you’re looking for a stress-free transfer, I would not recommend PSG.

Yet again I am making a negative…
Yet again I am making a negative review. This time I’ve take the decision to transfer out my SIPP because of their terrible failings in the management of my SIPP- I’ve been given an indication of a couple of months then several months - due to an admin backlog but they want to charge £525 plus VAT for the privilege. This is not on - it’s a simple sell and cash transfer that should take no more than 2-4 weeks - where are the pension guidelines for getting this completed in a timely fashion. Why should I pay for a service that takes a minimum of a couple of months with all the excuses under the sun.

I’m opting out and have been since…
I’m opting out and have been since January 23. I’m now into month 4 and I’m still no further forward.
It’s nearly impossible to get a clear concise set of instructions, I get emails from random employees who obviously can’t communicate with other staff members or in other words…. What a shocking bunch of inept people!!!!!!

A very unsatisfactory transfer out…
A very unsatisfactory transfer out process. Long delays and very few updates. After nearly a month, under the pretense of due diligence, they asked for documentation and signatures they already had. The whole thing took over 2 months which I guess may not be considered too bad. But the real issue is that we have not received any documentation from PSG detailing the process. I have asked repeatedly for a statement of transactions for the encashment of funds, and transfers from subsidiary accounts etc etc and have received deathly silence. I must have emailed 5 times over the last few weeks and have had no response whatsoever. How can a professional company act like this on a pension that is well over £300,000.00???

Frankly feeling fed up as a client…
Frankly feeling fed up as a client having calls constantly and not getting to speak to anyone - never had this problem before, only ever since the merger am I hitting my head against a brick wall. Today I get an email confirming my Octopus Portfolio transfer to another company has been completed - the first I have heard of this - will speak to the FCA on Monday as this doesn’t seem right that I’ve received no correspondence on this. Also have been chasing for my annual report for the last 3 months - now waiting on a valuation from the new portfolio managers of my SIPP as PSG has stated. I am totally nervous now about my SIPP as I rely on my funds from this as a drawdown. Someone have the decency to pick up the phone and speak to me

Incredibly slow and still waiting five months later
I started the transfer out process in May - it took six weeks for the discharge papers to be issued that were turned around in two days, and now - 4th October - I'm still waiting for the funds to be transferred despite multiple chasing from me and my current pension provider.
UPDATE: I have not received any documentation from PSG, nor have Hargreaves Lansdown in the last few weeks. The Due Diligence as completed in May - you have confirmed that already. Is this just another stalling tactic? Do you really want me to go to the FCA? I'm fed up calling you for an update that never arrives

Still Waiting
I placed the previous review with the hope that PSG would improve their performance and they would meet the response time stated above - still waiting.
i have made many more phone calls, received an email acknowledging my complaint - but still going round in circles and waiting for my money.

PSG customer service is awful and a disastrously slow to paying out.
PSG customer service is awful. They neither reply to emails nor simply acknowledge it. Their Payment process is disastrously slow within the modern financial system. The present day is characterised by fast payment, fast food, contactless and so on. Sorry to say PSG seems to be in the past. It takes almost a month to process a payment, that is maybe , when you don’t give them breathing space. I am forced to give this review because I am not only disappointed but also dissatisfied with their service. To this point of reviewing, no one has replied to my 2 emails sent regarding payment from my own Sipp- how awful that is - to say the least. I realised I am not the only one giving this kind of review . Several others have given similar reviews and this is unacceptable. I give a couple more days for my payment otherwise am out!

Abysmally slow
This company takes forever to pay your money out if you request a transfer to another provider. Do not consider using them if you want to be able to manage your own assets effectively.

Dreadful performance.
This fund has managed my money for almost 2years, its managed a return of just over 4% !!!!!! TOTAL.
Given the massive upturn in world markets, funds equities, ETF`s, property etc etc, it appears to me they must have been asleep at the wheel.
Really look elsewhere, dreadful performance.
