We were very disappointed with the two All Steak pies.
Two tiny pieces of beef and the rest gravy.
Gravy very tasty but where’s the meat. Come on Pukka sort this problem out or lose business.
We have forwarded a complaint to Pukka waiting for their response.

I bought 2 pukka chicken and mushroom pies and cooked them for myself and a friend. To say disappointed would be a understatement. There was no chicken or mushrooms in the pies. Just some discusting glop which is meant to resemble gravy. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!! you would be better off buying the supermarkets own brand

These are very nlce pies. Full of flavour. Only bought from Chip shop with Chips. Will try frozen pies as seen in supermarket. Hope they are as good...

Tried Pukka Pies for the first time and definitely the last
My wife and I settled down to what we thought would
be a tasty lunch, pie mash and peas, the mash and pea
s were great but the pie contained one very sinewy
Piece of meat which could not be chewed, the contents
Was mainly gravy which was ok and the crust was alright, very disappointed!

I bought a Pukka steak pie from Tesco 2 days ago.
The gravy was OK, but that's all.
The meat was negligible in amount and drowned by the gravy and included a piece of connective tissue with attached fat.
The meat/gravy mix occupied the bottom 3/4 inch of the pie casing; above that was empty space.
I doubt that the very small amount of meat was exceptional - their machines must be set carefully to deliver this into each pie.
Garbage, had one bite, then threw the rest away - the rats will love it.

Hardly any chicken - a couple of tiny pieces in loads of gelatinous "sauce", no veg or anything else in it. Will not buy again, ever.
Sometimes you do get what your pay for, this is true for pies (and sausages!)

Dreadful.... The pie was only 2 spoonfuls of meat, pastry was a bit on the thin side, hardly any gravy.
Beef pie.... What beef? Please dont say it was a fault on the production line!!!!
Never again Pukka.....

Used to love a Beef & Onion Pukka pie. I've had two in recent weeks and both have had inedible fat bits in them. So bad, you can't even chew it. I dread to think what part of the cow it is. Made me want to vomit! What's happened to the quality we all used to rely on?

The chicken and mushroom single pie I bought had a good crust but the filling was just a load of mushy slop. There was no discernable mushrooms and there was one tiny (5mm) piece of chicken.

I recently gave a Pukka Chicken and Mushroom pie a poor review saying that I would not buy another. However since talking to Pukka Pies about it I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and bought one for myself and one for my wife.We were surprised how much better they were than my original one, which must have been bad luck.So I hope this balances things out.I will definitely buy again.

Pastry was ok but as for the filling , it was non existent , 2 x 1cm cube of steak and rest was gravy
Would not recommend

Looks good on the packing.when I cut into to Chicken and bacon pie it look like pet food and only about 25% of contents compared to picture.

My favourite pie is a Steak & Kidney !
Usually buy Tesco's or other brands; thought I'd try Puka for a change. Don't know why as I haven't enjoyed this maker's products before.
Looked forward all day to my tea and when the time came I was so disappointed. Steak was tender but with absolutely no flavour of any kidney!
Went in the bin; money wasted. Never a Puka again!

We normally buy the standard size pie as they are perfect, wonderful pastry and lots of filling. We decided to try the family size chicken and mushroom pie and were very disappointed. There was hardly any filling. We counted three chunks of chicken and barely any sauce. Just a pile of pastry. Definitely do not recommend the family size pie

Bought two mincemeat and onion pukka pies. There was about a forkfull of filling absolutely awful. Tesco own pies have more filling and a lot cheaper. Will never buy pukka pies again.

Bought a chicken and mushroom pie for the first time today. I have never had Pukka pies before but was led to believe they were good.
What a disappointment. One minuscule piece of chicken and a tiny sliver of mushroom in a sticky liquid. The top pastry was fair but the rest was a gooey mess. Never again.

Bought a steak and ale pie for two without doubt the worst food I have ever tasted had to throw away more than half which ruined the remainder of the meal absolutely awful never again.
It's been a week since contacting reception at pukka pies as instructed to enable to take it forward, no word as yet.
Another week and a bit now with no further contact looks like vickie is AI so I will never in future purchase another item produced by this company

Pukka Microwavable Steak Pie are a disgrace. All pastry and not much filling and what filling there was, was very low quality.
Lots of fat, very little steak. A shame as their pies used to be the best in the chippies.
