Absolutely love the Zumba!! …
Absolutely love the Zumba classes run by Mary, she has so much energy! Theres a good mix of classes in the evenings which i enjoy and the trainers are great and very friendly. if there are issues with the timetables, we feel we can approach the manager and ask that they review the timings to suit the majority. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere at this gym.

All good mostly. A busy gym with a wide range of people using it, which is great. It's convenient and feels safe. Staff are friendly.
However, over represented by what appear to be insecure men. It's a public gym, if working out is so important to you, may be pay for something a bit more exclusive rather than getting territorial over equipment. Yesterday, one of them was using a piece of equipment just to balance his phone on so he could film himself. It felt like psychological man-spreading. Another, today, convincing himself that it's a legitimate work-out routine to rotate between three pieces of equipment at his whim, regardless if other people were using them. They can be identified by their over serious expressions, like they consider a sense of humour or social skills emasculating. Which, they're not of course, quite the opposite in fact.

We're afraid we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however, where possible, we ask that members share equipment between sets, to ensure that all members are able to get the most out of their workout. Although sometimes this isn't possible, we do ask that other members are taken into consideration when taking breaks between sets. To my standards
I have been happy with the service and professionalism since day 1. Classes are fantastic , energetic.
All PT are elite, I wouldn’t expect anything less.

No studio and no classes
I had been a member of pure gym at Charlton for the last 10 years I joined only because of the offer of more than 20 classes per week. The classes were fantastic, BUT, now they have closed the studio and CANCELLED all the classes, which has forced me and many other women who also only do classes to leave pure gym. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Highly recommended
Ease of access/ ability to attend gym at anytime of day dependent on my schedule. And, when I’m away from home, the available option to attend another gym local to where I might be staying. Wide variety of equipment and classes available. Gym is usually clean except for empty/half filled bottles or cans members leave lying about (no fault to gym staff here) and cleaning materials (sanitiser and wipes) for cleaning equipment after use always available. Love the reminders “don’t sweat it” etc in the walls clearly visible. Also love the women only section in my home gym. When I was a newby to the gym, the female only section was an absolute “God send”. It allowed me work out with other women in a space that allowed me to feel less self conscious and build my confidence.

DARTFORD - PURE GYM
I’ve genuinely enjoyed my time at PureGym Dartford. The gym is clean, well equipped and has a really welcoming atmosphere. As someone who was quite anxious about going to the gym, it has really helped build my confidence and become part of my routine.
The fitness classes are one of the best things about the gym and the majority of the instructors are brilliant — motivating, engaging and full of energy. A couple of instructors could improve slightly as they tend to demonstrate the exercise once and then don’t really participate or interact much afterwards, which changes the atmosphere of the class.
I also want to mention my PT, Wes, who has been fantastic. He is approachable, friendly, professional and really encouraging. He explains everything clearly, focuses on proper form and technique, and has made me feel comfortable and confident in the gym environment rather than intimidated by it. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience and I would definitely recommend the gym.

The gym is very clean and…
The gym is very clean and well-maintained, with excellent customer service from the staff. Free parking is a great added benefit, and the gym itself is spacious with a wide variety of equipment suitable for all types of workouts. I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to attend at any time, which makes it very convenient for different schedules. Overall, it is a great gym with a welcoming atmosphere.

Gents changing room ugh!
I recently wrote a review and got a reply about how they value feedback. Yet nothing was done.
I took careful note when I was the last weekend. Chewing gum on the changing floors, shower cubicles showing mould on the mastic seals, more lockers in use than men in the gym. This is just the things that are obvious to me. Oh, and still two urinals broken
Given that nothing was done, I cancelled my membership.

Really enjoying this gym- had a PT session with Abigel Lukas which was confidence building and motivating and in group classes she is really focussed on making sure exercises are done properly, while encouraging the group to work hard. Really recommend her!

Scammers
Scammers, suspended my account
I have contacted them about suspicious activity and they suspended my membership. Telling me to come during the day before 2pm to have a chat with them but will not take day off to talk about their mistake. Requested video call instead and since did not hear from them but money was taken obviously, now have to pay 10quid somewhere else to train as this scammers telling me my son is accessing gym during the day, he is 10 and he is at school during the day morons. Came few times to the gym to have a chat with them but obviously noone who know what is going on there. Just been told everyday 10-15 people comming with intention to train and instead discovering access denied and membership suspended. Do recommend find gym who care about customer and have staff there to help you of tou need them
Also always something not working, sometimes showers sometimes gym equipment...

If you were attending during staffed hours, and pressing the 'call for assistance' buzzer at the entrance of the gym and had no response, it may be that staff were completing duties not on the gym floor at the time of your visit or in a PT session where they cannot answer immediately, but aim to be with you as soon as they can. You can read about staffed hours and safety and security in the gym on our website for further information.
We would ask that you reach out directly to your gym management team via email, which can be located on your gyms home page to arrange a date and time suitable for you to attend the branch to discuss this further. A Mixed bag. They do somethings really well and other aspects are a mess. I am in Edinburgh and all the local staff are really nice and very friendly. I mainly used for Yoga and Pilates class which are £2 extra a class. The teachers were excellent.
All the issue I had were around the app and information. I would not get told when classes were cancelled or not running but would get told classes were not running when they were. Also I could not change my home gym. My actual home gym closed and I was automatically moved.
I understand the model is low cost but Sauna would make them so much better.

I’ve been training with Mr Karl Finch…
I’ve been training with Mr Karl Finch for the last three years and I honestly couldn’t recommend him more highly.
One of the biggest achievements for me has been consistency. Even though I still try to skip workouts or come up with excuses from time to time (haha), he has somehow managed to keep me on track and committed to my routine.
Thanks to his guidance, support and encouragement, I’ve successfully gained pure muscle mass and become stronger and more disciplined than ever before.
He is knowledgeable, motivating and genuinely cares about his clients’ progress. His dedication has made a huge difference to my fitness journey.
The facilities at PureGym Sheffield City Centre are also excellent, making it a great place to train.
