Great service

When my multi gym was delivered there were part's missing i then emailed Shelby from admin and she sorted it out for me promptly and now i can get the multi gym set up

Great aftercare!

I bought a weights machine from Costco and it arrived with some cosmetic damage. Shelby from PureTec was super helpful with arranging replacement parts really easily and without any hassle. Thank you!

Build advice

Bought a New Multi Gym from Argos I was really pleased with the product but had a doubt about how one of the parts was fitting, I messaged Pure Tec for advice and within hours received an answer to my query. Great service.

**DO NOT BUY** Marcy Fan Bike from PURETEC LTD

In Nov 24 I bought a Marcy Fan Bike through their trading partners Decathlon and since then trouble started with this bike, within the first month the bike became faulty I contacted the PureTec and sent them evidence, which they offered to replace the whole bike. I then received the replacement Dec 2024 and since then endless issues, all the joints come loose after every use, rattling sound everywhere, I continuously have to tighten the nuts and bolts, the console stops working even after putting brand new batteries in it. When contacted them about the console which is a key feature of the bike, they sent me a second-hand one with the post that it sits on, all scratched and paint pealing of, I sent evidence to which they apologised.
I was so fed when I had complained and asked if I could exchange it for a better one as a gesture of goodwill due to the on going issues they declined. Bare in mind this bike isn't cheap £279, and what a shoddy build, it's light in weight and doesn't feel robust or safe when using it. I then complained again today 15/04/2025 to which they replied saying they will send all the parts, at this point I am totally fed up with the bike. I am unable to use it without having to tighten the nuts and bolts all the time and no working console.

Awsone Customer Service

I recently purchased a 2nd hand MWM-988 Home Gym.

I had to contact PureTec as i required a replacement cable. Shelby Stewart picked up my initial enquiry & he response to my email was fantastic. From start to finish Shelby has been 100% in dealing with my enquiry & I'm glad to say the whole process took less just over 1 day from initial enquiry to delivery of my cable.

dreadful company customer service was…

dreadful company customer service was diabolical. we bought a cross trainer. After two days, the driving belt came off. 3rd day the bolt sealed unit came loose. We tightened it only had to have the same problem day after.
had to return what a carry on that was had to take parts that came separately put in box obviously detach then add base and wait on uplift. Got a second cross trainer after 15 minutes. The same bolt came off again. Asked Customer Servis to send someone out. apparently they don’t offer the service. So had to wait on a box being delivered for us to pack well what a box that was far too small flimsy. We had to take the whole cross trainer to bits to pack. We had to drag it down the stairs for uplift. My partner was hospitalised with a knee injury and was advised by physio in hospital to get cross trainer.
His knee was swollen with the effort. they refused.any form of compensation!! a very simple apology of a disinterested member of staff. we are still waiting on refund that’s 4 days now. it cost £500. !!! I can’t state enough that this company are unprofessional. in customer service. Also looking on line this is a common fault with cross trainer. i bought threw costco and not been impressed with the service they have given so far. but will be taking this up with my credit company. Do Not Buy !!!!

I had a part missing so spoken with Emma in customer services, she located the part and posted this to me. She was extremely helpful with a can do and will do attitude. I'm delighted with the Marcy gym equipment, its excellent. Fully recommended, thank you

Marcy ME709 spares don't exist

Although the lady was very polite when I called about a broken component inside my Marcy exercise bike, it turns out that Puretec have no channel for importing individual parts for these machines from China. So for the price of a 50p spring in the clutch mechanism the entire bike goes into landfill and a customer becomes a never-to-return customer who has to find another £250 for a new bike!

Chinese wisdom? Not going to save the planet at that rate!

Update: Contrary to what your reply states, I did not in fact attempt to make any claim under the warranty, which I made clear I knew did not apply right from the beginning. My enquiry was specifically to source a part which I was informed on several occasions was not available in the UK, namely the clutch spring pictured below, that only specific external parts are held. Please do not make me out to be dishonest on top of being unable to source the part!

Hello, sorry to hear you're disappointed with the service. Having spoken to the lady involved, the issue was not with the parts but because the order was in someone else's name, so the warranty was not with you. We can only deal with the person who bought the machine initially. You also told us that you had taken the machine apart to try and fix it, exposing internal parts. This also voids warranties, so regardless of who the warranty is with, it has now been voided. Sorry, we couldn't help further.

Amazing Customer Service

I am so impressed with the brilliant customer service I received from PureTec. My elliptical machine which I brought over 2 years ago from them and I use nearly everyday, unfortunately had a part break. Within 1 day I had a reply to my request for help and within a few days I had a replacement part and I was back on my machine. Thank you PureTec (especially Ana from Customer Services).

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

A fault developed on my strider's read-out display that couldn't be rectified easily as the instructions didn't give a 'return to factory settings' option. Contacted PureTec via their website where Ana - Customer Services - could not have been more helpful and, rather than faff about, arranged for a replacement unit to be sent out where Lisa - Warehouse Administrator - facilitated its dispatch; advised of 5-7 working days delivery. It arrived in 2 days. Couldn't be more pleased with the attitude displayed by Ana in particular and the overall service received from PureTec.

Incredibly helpful

Had to get in touch about a broken pulley a couple of years after owning the equipment. Was expecting a bit of a faff as I bought from Argos and PureTec were the party to contact. Zero fuss, incredibly helpful, parts sent out the next day. Ana in Customer Services - thank you!

I damaged the power supply and the…

I damaged the power supply and the control panel to my recumbent bike. I contacted Puretec simply to enquire about the possibility of getting replacement parts, not sure if it was still under warranty after nearly 18 months, and they were dispatched immediately without fuss or question. Very efficient and helpful customer service.

Poor quality 'Marcy' bikes.

I had a marcy bike for less than 2 years. It was replaced under the guarantee, with a later model. I have had this one for less than 6 months and it is already making crunching noises when I pedal.
A replacement does not come with a guarantee, so I have paid for a bike total usage 2years 6 months. I am very, very disappointed as I also had to pay both times for it to be assembled, and to pay for someone to take the broken one away.
I would be very reluctant to recommend this company's products

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!
AND THEIR SISTER COMPANY TOO (Exercise.co.uk)
Bought a recumbent bike... was delivered (finally) in a very heavily damaged and battered box. When pointed out to the courier (UPS) he shrugged his shoulders and walked off!
The box had been resealed several times, and on opening I found that the previous "owner" of the item had tried to assemble it and forced the screws into the frame at 45 degrees thus stripping thr thread out of the holes.
The cover of the pedal box had a deep gouge in it, right through the paintwork and into the cheap plastic underneath and large scratch though the paint too.
This was obviously an item that had been returned before, and then resold as new!
Have had a nightmare trying to get them to collect their rubbish, and am still waiting for a refund!
I am shocked that Argos are still using them as a third parth supplier and pointed this out to the customer service manager I finally managed to speak to.
Have ordered a replacement from a reliable company. Will not be using Argos again whilst they still use such unreliable and shockingly awful third party suppliers.
In all my experience is as follows....
1 - pay for goods
2 - receive 2nd hand damaged goods
3 - finally have damaged goods collected
4 - wait for refund
5 - buy elsewhere

A+ Customer Service From Bradley

A+ Customer Service From Bradley. The Pull down Cable snapped on my Marcy 4000 and it was replaced under warranty. I received a prompt reply to my email reporting the issue, followed by same day dispatch of the part. I wouldnt hesitate to use Puretec again and would / will recommend them.

Flawless service, genuinely

I had a faulty part which was integral to the operation of my equipment. Contacted and dealt with Bradley and within 2 days I have the replacement part here in my hand. Cannot fault the service at all. These guys obviously realise how important gym equipment is to people and have sorted it out with no hassle at all. Superb.

I purchased a home gym from Puretec a couple of years ago, original order was out of stock but they contacted me and offered and alternative product at no extra cost. The alternative product was an upgrade! Had a few issues with misinterpreting the delivery time as the one displayed on Amazon (the delivery service used is independent and varies by a couple of days) however once I was in contact with the correct people the delivery was arranged and on time. The multi gym itself has been in constant use since then, some parts have suffered wear and tear which to me is understandable. The team at Puretec has always supplied me with replacement parts within 5-7 working days of getting hold of them, which at times hasn't been instant but always resolved with good customer service once contact has been established. They have even improved some of the parts which wore down several times, this can be frustrating at the time although to me understandable given the versatility of the machine and the frequent stress it is under. Overall after a while of owning the product I'm extremely satisfied with it and it the long term the guys at Puretec have been more than helpful with replacement parts.
