Superb customer service. I ordered a cone and a skein of the same yarn and was contacted immediately about dye lots. The shipment was prompt. The cotton pure yarn is great. I wish I had known I could have the skein wound. It was a little bit of a challenge without a winder.

Great, quality yarn! I ordered the Knitting Yarn DK Cone, and it was a great choice for the Cocoon Cardi pattern--no ends to weave in (except at the beginning and end)! I still have enough leftover to equal about two skeins of DK yarn, so I'm excited to use it for something else!

I've been a Purl Soho customer for years and have always appreciated the quality of their yarns and patterns, but my recent experience took my loyalty to a different level.

I've been knitting for over four decades but had some struggles with their Botanical Yoke Pullover. Back in 2020 I made the sweater using a yarn substitution I chose myself. It didn't go well and I had to frog the whole thing.

I chose to give it another go this year and, taking advantage of a sale, I used their recommended yarn substitute for the original pattern yarn, but ran into a row gauge mismatch that was going to require significant pattern modification to make it work. When I reached out to their customer service to ask about modifying the yoke, I expected generic advice or a polite deflection.

Instead, their Customer Service Manager, went to their design team directly to get me a specific, expert modification recommendation. Beyond that, she proactively offered a refund on the substitute yarn that wasn't working for me, sent a complimentary skein of the original pattern yarn so I could swatch and see whether that would solve the problem at its source, and included a generous gift card to apply toward the original yarn if I decided to switch.

This is what good customer service actually looks like: listening carefully, getting real expertise involved, and making a customer whole in a way that doesn't feel transactional. They turned what was becoming a frustrating experience into one I feel genuinely grateful for.

If you're hesitating to spend money on their yarn or patterns because of the price point, know that the support behind it is the real deal. They stand behind their products and their recommendations in a way that's increasingly rare. I just ordered enough of the original pattern yarn to complete my sweater, as it is working up nicely. I couldn't be more thrilled.

I recently ordered Purl Soho Dk Cone. Wow! I really like the cone. I can grab my needle’s and cone sit down and knit until my arms tire out. I will be buying the Purl Soho Cones for all my big projects.

The yarn I ordered came quickly. Shipping costs were reasonable. The yarn itself is exactly what I wanted, soft, and easy to knit.

I've ordered from Purl Soho a couple of times and I always get exactly what I expect, when I expect it. I feel like they make a lot of effort to represent colors accurately on their website and the quality of the yarn always lives up to the premium price. But this week their customer service really went above and beyond to help me out so I can finish a gift on time. So many of our commercial interactions are with big, soulless corporations these days, where you're lucky to get an automated response. You can imagine my surprise when I heard from an actual person! Zha Zha found what I was looking for, set it aside for me, and made sure I'd be able to receive it in time to finish the gift I'm working on. I really appreciate the excellent customer service! I will definitely be shopping with Purl Soho again in future.

The employees at Purl SoHo are amazing! I ran out of yarn that had been discontinued and they were able to check their stock and send me more of the same color. Now I am able to finish my sweater. I can't thank them enough!
