Lies and bs, tells me they had bad weather in Richmond thats why the delay. I drove home though Richmond to my destination where the package was supposed to arrive and the weather was beautiful, just more Lies and games from these shipping companies no accountability yet the shipping rates have never been higher... do better

This is hands down the worst courier service experience I’ve ever had.
I paid extra for expedited delivery for a package that contained my passport—a critical and highly sensitive document. Despite this, over 3 days passed with no proper notifications, no clear tracking updates, and zero accountability.
To make things worse, Purolator completely ignored the pickup location I selected. I chose a location close to my home for convenience. Instead, they sent my package to a random location extremely far away, with no direct public transit access. This is beyond inconvenient—it’s careless and unacceptable, especially for such an important document.
I paid a premium expecting reliability and professionalism. What I got instead was poor communication, logistical incompetence, and total disregard for customer choice.
If this is how Purolator handles expedited shipments and passports, I genuinely don’t understand how they’re still in business. Save yourself the stress and money—do not use this service.

Delivery driver never rang the doorbell nor knocked on the door. They just left a note to pick up my package at some obscure location where I now have to pay for parking just to pop in to receive a package which should have been delivered properly. Some drivers are conscientious and are good, however, this delivery driver is/was the opposite. Totally unacceptable work ethic and at approximate rate of $31- $34 an hour. Wow!

They lie. My parcel has been moving around my neighborhood, and in fact passed by my home twice in the last 3 days. They say its delayed because of bad weather, yet there isn't any bad weather!!
Update: I emailed as asked, but was only told to sign up for notification and that the weather was bad? Frustrating brcause I've been chasing my parcel and getting different customer service reps telling me different things!

I'm only rating this a 1 star because I have to. I'd rate my most recent experience at best -10 stars if I could. I will first let it be known that I do believe that the customer service people tried. It's the delivery/transit/shipping aspect that ended up being awful. They lost my new smartphone. Luckily it wasn't one that I paid for up front. There are so many expletives and swear words that I could say about this company but I will refrain from doing that.
According to the tracking, it was on a delivery truck and it was supposed to be delivered Christmas eve. It wasn't. Okay. That's fine. I get it. It's Christmas eve. After that it basically got lost in transit/shipping back to the depot and magically disappeared. Based on advice from customer service, I had to go through the tracking/tracing department. That ended up being useless. I do think that they tried. They were pleasant to talk to. I eventually was e-mailed by that department and was told that they were giving up the search for my phone. In back and forth e-mail messaging, I was very harsh of Purolator and the process but not to the agent.
Purolators screw-up has caused me a lot of customer service grief and extra time with the cell provider that I will never get back. Even though I don't really need that time back but that's not the point. It was still a huge waste of time.
I'm now in limbo with the provider. No idea when their investigation and claims process will be complete to get me my new phone and all because Purolator was negligent in their shipping/delivery/tracking process. Absolutely useless. I speculate, but I do believe that the phone was stolen.
Either way when I now go to purchase something online in the future, I have to make sure that it's not shippied via Purolator. I have to contact the customer service department of the place that I'd like to make a purchase from to make sure it's not Purolator. Purolator can't be trusted. If that's who a company ships with, well I now have to make sure that I don't do business with that company.
I know that I shouldn't say this but I honestly don't care if Purolator goes out of business. I don't want to see employment losses but at the same time, I'm honestly finding it hard to care about Purolator. This whole event has been a nightmare in shipping. This is the perfect case study of what not to do as a company.

I would give NO stars if I could. Second time three weeks the lazy driver left a parcel outside in the wind and snow. I have a front sunroom with a clear sign that says leave packages inside. More and more companies are using the cheapest services they can. Had I arrived home a few hours later, my package would have blown away. There is also a porch pirate scam happening with many of these companies. They leave packages outside, then an unmarked van shows up ten minutes later...poof gone.

Package was never delivered. Now Purolator seems to be claiming they tried but couldn't deliver. I was here all day waiting, with NO contact from them. Their tracking doesn't show them coming anywhere near my address.

Store locator is totally out of date. Went to a drop off location for the store to say they don't do Purolator shipments anymore. Their drop off boxes don't work (I went to two of them both out of order/no power). My suggestions is to read the google reviews before you waste your time going to any location or call in advance and save yourself some time.

Very poor , plays important, garbage service. Unsure why shopping channel use this service when there are other services like Fed Ex. The Purolator got enough business , no need anymore income . Their garbage service includes leaving notes and not delivering the package . They are. It that important as they think they are not to take a picture where they leave the package like the other delivery services . They expect residence to sit at their door and take time off from work when they are scheduled to deliver . Not going to happen . Get your services sorted out .

I ordered a few sets of figs for my daughter on December 4th totalling around 300 dollars. Following the delivery assignments it stated it got to the Dartmouth facility Dec 9Th. A call two weeks later says it's very busy expect it in a week. After that constant calls. No return calls until today Jan 19th. When they finally told my daughter it has been lost. These people have no customer service whatsoever. They do not get back to you and they were awful to deal with. I never want to deal with them again.

Purolator can only be described as a consistently bad shipping courier. Late deliveries, terrible tracking, and poor to no communication. In my experience they are the absolute WORST shipping company. Hands down!

They came to deliver my package without any information. No call no buzzer did not leave any note so i can get to know they came to deliver and i missed it. It was my important package. Also i paid extra for that. They changed my tracking number without informing me and send back to sender. I haven't received any information regarding that. Its been a month haven't received my package and they are not helping me out there. Worst service ever.

Worst service I’ve had in my life, two of the packages I had ordered previously kept saying weather delay when it was bare and sunny day, then showed up either two or three days later saying the same thing, this one package I’m still waiting on has been saying weather delay for five days and is in my area. The weathers been five degrees plus and the roads are perfectly fine, I’ve called Purolator twice same thing every time that it was out for delivery and should come today, I even stated what if there’s another weather delay and still they said it would come and never showed. Hands down most disappointing service I’ve had it’s about to be the second week this coming Monday waiting for one package that’s been giving me a poor excuse, and the tracker app needs real time delivery.

Waiting for 2 parcels from Reitman's retailer. I got retailer's email that I will receive my order today, Jan.16. Purolator stopped scanning and updating thier website since Jan. 9! Called Purolator this a.m. and the customer service rep.was very kind to let me know the parcels are in Vancouver. How come there's no update on website? Still no delivery update. I was always satisfied in the past with Purolator's updates. Finally updated on Sunday a.m. "out for delivery" UPDATE: PARCELS WERE DELIVERED ON SUNDAY, JAN.18 @ 4:00 P.M.

I had an order from Michael's supposed to be delivered on the 5th of January. Tracking it it changed the day to the 7th then the 9th or 10th. Then the 12th. Every day something different. Then they want me to go pick it up in the far west end when I am disabled and have no way to get there. If I wanted to go get it I would have gone to michaels a couple miles from here to get it. Now every time I talk to purolator they tell me it will be delivered once they finish with some sort of sorting. It was on the truck a week ago to be delivered. They even sent me an email saying it would be delivered that day. Then they posted it would not be due to disruption in transit. If you value your items or parcels do not use this company. They are not trustworthy
