Incredible food! I am dairy and gluten free due to life long IBS and often turn up to holidays and trips with a "snack bag". I haven't had to touch this because Julia and her amazing team kept me full with delightfully delicious and healthy dishes all weekend! And the cakes, just wow! You would never think they were free from either!

We used Julia to cater for us whilst renting a holiday cottage. She is lovely to deal with and all ran very smoothly.

The food was absolutely delicious. She accommodated dietary preferences effortlessly and made our holiday so much more relaxing and totally gourmet.

We would definitely recommend.

My Mum sadly died at the beginning of June. I contacted Julia and her team only a few days before the funeral, as I had managed to identify an outside space where a small number of close family and friends could gather.
Purple Plum managed to pull together a range of canapes and street style food very quickly. It was delivered on time and plated on lovely serving platters. The food tasted really good and was exceptionally good value.
Throughout, the communications were friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of catering or using them again if I should ever need to hold an event in the Norwich area.

Julia and her lovely team fed, watered and thoroughly spoilt us for our weekend yoga retreat at West Lexham. It was just wonderful food from a wide variety of breakfast choices first thing to help ourselves, through to a delicious hot meal in the evening. Brunch was the highlight with imaginative dishes suiting everyone's dietary needs. One guest said it was the most colourful meal she had ever eaten!
More importantly having (sometimes 3 of the team) Purple Plum with us didn't feel like imposters in the kitchen. They all chatted and put everyone at ease, explaining the dishes and refreshing drinks stations, responding to requests and questions like it was no bother at all.
I have already booked Julia and her team for my next retreat and will likely only look a Norfolk venues in future so she can do the food! Thoroughly recommend!

Julia and the rest of the Purple Plum staff catered one of my parent's dinner parties. The lamb was delicious and I heard the vegetarian option was amazing. The food was adventurous but uncontroversial and the service was impeccable!

I led a Yoga, Meditation and Healing Retreat at the lovely West Lexham Retreat Centre, and Julia of Purple Plum Catering took care of us beautifully. The food was delicious, unusual and as one particularly articulate participant and myself judged: elegant, contemporary, innovative and abundant. I especially enjoyed a beautiful sweet carrot and paprika soup as well as the lightest, most perfect Spanakopita.
Book Julia with confidence and just ask her to be present at all of the meals herself. Her staff are great but her presence is really the heart of the kitchen. Five stars indeed.

Julia and her team provided the catering for my recent yoga retreat at West Lexham and the food and service provided were fantastic from start to finish. Energy balls and cakes and tea for guests upon arrival, hearty yet nourishing and seasonal meals to fuel all the yoga and help us fight the frosty weather... there was even a breakfast lasagna which proved a major hit! We had a lot of dietary requirements to meet, along with a very last minute request, and Julia couldn't have been more accommodating. My only suggestion would be perhaps more fresh juices and salads due to nature of event, but I think given the season and cold weather the menu on offer was ideal.

Julia catered for a yoga retreat I revisited again and her food was one of the reasons additional to the yoga for going again.

Her vegetarian and vegan dishes were all delicious, warming and robust for a winter menu, made us all feel spoilt whilst keeping it all healthy. She even catered for my lactose intolerance with delicious alternatives. Service was professional yet warm and friendly. Highly recommended.

Julia and her amazing team (aka Purpleplum Catering) covered our recent celebration dinner (canapes and five courses) and catered for us the following night for a dinner party (two courses). Guests are still talking about the extensive and delicious menu Purpleplum provided us with. Julia was very patient with us as our plans and menu developed throughout the booking stage, offering her advice as a professional was a big help. The two nights where Purpleplum catered for us were flawless. Staff provided a polite and friendly service. Food was served hot, presented well and a talking point of the evening - it was that good! We will be using Purpleplum Catering in the future and we will highly recommend them to anyone we know.

Julia catered for my 50th birthday party, she dropped food to a Manor House we had rented for 20 people, hors d’oeuvres were fabulous, main course delicious. She was a joy to communicate with and it felt like the food was made with love!

Julia prepared nourishing and delicious food at a retreat I attended in Lymington. Breakfast lunch and dinner over 3 days. ALL of it was fabulous!!! Julia seems to have an intuitive approach to the food she puts together which I really appreciated. Paired with her fabulous nature and attitude I highly recommend Purpleplum Catering!!!

Purple Plum put on a lovely dinner for 14 in self-catered accommodation for a stag do. The food and service were great. They were able to come and start preparing whilst we were out during the day so that once we arrived back home all the food was laid out ready to go. It was all lovely too - all the lads really enjoyed it. If we're in the area again we'll definitely be back in touch. Thanks again!
