paid a holding deposit on the car - no refund
paid a holding deposit on the car. my financial situation changed and i no longer wanted to purchase the vehicle. he advised me the holding deposit was refundable and if i didn't wish to proceed it would be returned.
when i asked for this back they refused and his attitude was terrible.
i am taking it to trading standards.
lucky escape to paying him 6k if that's how they treat and speak to customers.

Quarmby Road Garage. Stay Away
I bought a car in late October 23. I only use for commuting to school runs. I have had the car just over 4.5 months, however the car has started to click badly I visited the garage to find the EGR Valve needs replacing. I paid for it to be fixed. To my surprise the EGR was blanked off to fool the computer in the car. I called the dealer to find he was not cooperative in anyway to help with the cost.
Please stay away from this garage quarmbyroadcarsales he's a crook...
