This is the worst dental clinic I’ll…

This is the worst dental clinic I’ll ever go.

I called for a braces removal and this people booked me in for consultation after I already did consultation because they want to get another money. So I came for the consultation only to spend just 1 minute and later said I need to book another day for the removal which I did…I was there a bit late which I called to let them know about. On getting there I was told I can’t do the removal that I can’t see the dentist .

I wasted so much time for 2 days after paying so much just to remove my braces and all they did was to waste my time.

They only know how to get money and don’t deliver. Very unprofessional people. I won’t recommend anyone going for any service.

Amanda Edge was my dentist

Amanda Edge was my dentist, I had two fillings done. First filling had sharp edges and irritates my tongue. Second filling, I have pain when I'm eating and tooth feels sensitive..I never had pain before the filling was done. Really bad work for over 400 pound bill. I was expecting better quality of work for paying that amount of money. I think she was running late for something more important than my teeth. If I was you, go to a cheaper dentist with a better ride in their work. Now I have to pay another dentist to correct her mess. I be going abroad to have my teeth done. Better price and better dentist. Maybe you should stick to doing Botox

extremely disappointing

The overall service has been extremely disappointing. I have made 2 complaints overall, my first complaint was made during my treatment and this was about the treatment plan I believed everything was included in my price, however it was made apparent to me by visiting the Queensway dental clinic for my tooth removal appointment that this was not the case. I made a formal complaint to Queensway orthodontic and the complaint was discussed to me by Dr Deeming to me whilst he was filing my teeth. He agreed the costs were not made clear to me and he will improve the documents going forward that they give to patients so they are aware of the extra costs however this is how it was left, I was not given a satisfactory outcome.
I have found almost all the dental staff to be rude and unprofessional, talking about other patients in front of me. The day I got my braces removed, I advised the dental nurse before getting my braces removed that I wasn’t happy with my bottom teeth, she took a look and stated they need filing, therefore thinking this is what she would have done, but she didn’t. Immediately after getting my braces removed I wasn’t shown my teeth in a mirror nor asked if I liked them I was hurried to put my mask on and vacate into the waiting room.
It was at this point I thought I was waiting to see Dr Deeming, however I got called into a room to see another dental staff she immediate greeted me with “don’t they look mint”, I replied I am yet to see my teeth, she seemed shocked and said ohhh take a look and pointed to the mirror up on the wall, I explained to her I wasn’t happy with them and that they haven’t been filed, I explained I thought I was waiting to see Dr Deeming, to which she replied no I am just here to take your after photos. She took alook at the notes and advised well he is in a meeting will probably do it on Monday when you come for your teeth whitening. She then took some after photos. (for noting I am still yet to receive a document with the before/after photos on, which Queensway post all over their social media).
This “probably do it Monday” wasn’t reassuring, so I made a call to the surgery upon leaving to make sure this was definitely going to get done on my Monday appointment. When I turned up to receive my tooth whitening kit the dental staff advised to pop the retainer into my mouth and was trying to explain to me how to do it, I replied “is it just like putting the invislaign in” her respionse was “oh did you have Invisalign?” again totally unprofessional. I am paying good money to receive this treatment, I would expect the staff to know what treatment I have had in order to obtain a satisfactory outcome for all future appointments. She clearly had not read my notes, which is when I told her I am also here to see Dr Deeming, she took a look at my notes and started asking down the airwaves for Dr Deeming to pay her room a visit.
Dr Deeming entered the room and asked what I wanted doing, I explained this was part of my treatment and I also explained to him about my bottom teeth and how I wasn’t happy with how they look. After 5 minutes of filing he had finally completed that part of my treatment however there was no handheld mirror for me to look at so I was told to look at my teeth in the mirror on the wall, which I did, I explained I was happy and he left.
When I got home I noticed one top tooth had been completely missed from the filing and is noticeably longer than the other teeth and nothing has been done to my bottom teeth. I contacted the surgery straight away on the 26th October 2020 to explain I was not happy, but with no response I contacted the surgery again on the 4th December 2020 to chase up what was happening with my and on the 7th December I received a voicemail stating the complaint team was still looking into it and they will be in touch. I am still waiting 3 months on.
Since talking to others about my dissatisfaction I have realised that several errors have also been made with my treatment. The retainer I have been given for my tooth whitening kit is incorrect, I should have been given a flexible resin retainer for the tooth whitening and I should have received my retainer I have to wear for bed the rest of my live, Instead I only received my final retainer as part of my treatment plan. However others who I have spoken to have both. I also was never advised to keep my tooth whitening kit in the fridge therefore this is probably not actually useable anymore.
I am from a customer service background myself and I expected much better and would be ashamed if I gave the lack of compassion I have experienced as a paying customer.
