Kim, our tour guide did an excellent job of blending history, outdoors, and scenic experiences throughout our four day tour. This was my first bus tour and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our driver Duncan was awesome! He was very accommodating, helpful and very informative!

We had a wonderful 4 day tour with Kim! The scenery was beyond amazing! Kim was the icing on the cake! She was knowledgeable, entertaining, and flexible!

We were lucky to have Jack Z as a guide.

The tour was spectacular! Lyn was a superb guide; her knowledge of the history and geology of Scotland was exceptional. She also had a great sense of humour and played music along the way, which she had chosen specially for its significance.

Great one-day tour of Salisbury, the Jurassic Coast, and Glastonbury. Our driver Matt was a consummate professional; his commentary made the sights come alive and kept us entertained on the long drives between sights.

excellent tour and guide

It was the worst time I have ever had on a holiday in my life. It was just time spent in the car and on the road, without stopping anywhere special, without spending time anywhere, and without truly seeing any special places at all — just dozing off in the car. That was the summary of the tour.

I came to Edinburgh for 4 days, and because of this tour, one of my days was completely wasted, not to mention the money I paid and spent. It was the worst day I had in Edinburgh. I’m telling everyone not to choose this tour under any circumstances. I’m sorry, but my day, my time, and my money were wasted! I would never, ever choose it again.
Update after the company’s reply:

I would also like to add that the company’s reply does not reflect my actual experience. They mentioned “more time to explore key destinations in depth,” but in my case, there was no in-depth experience at the so-called key destinations. Most of the day felt like sitting in the car and briefly stopping, without enough meaningful time to actually explore or enjoy the places.

Another important point is that I did not see the Harry Potter train. This was one of the parts I was looking forward to, but the train did not pass that day / we did not get to see it, and this was not made clear enough beforehand. If I had known that such an important part of the experience would not happen, I would have reconsidered booking this tour.

So, unfortunately, I still feel that my day, time, and money were wasted. The reply from the company does not change my opinion, because the main issue was not simply the “balance of time,” but the lack of a real experience, lack of meaningful exploration, and the disappointment of not seeing what I expected from the tour.

As always, the organisation was spot on; the excellent driver was very friendly and told us lots of interesting and new things (we’d actually done this exact tour many years ago). My only criticism: I found the accommodation in York a bit on the pricey side for what was on offer. We’re already planning our tour for next year :)

Thank you so much for a wonderful day trip to Skye! Helen, our driver guide, was so lovely, friendly and patient with me, I had mobility issues, and she was very helpful! I was with a group of 7, we all enjoyed the tour and our time on Skye with Helen. I also loved the variety of Scottish music that she shared with us! I very much recommend this tour as THE way to see Skye!

On 18 May, we went on the 'Stonehenge and Cotswold Villages' tour, with Alan as our driver and guide. He kept us entertained throughout the trip by sharing all sorts of interesting facts about the places we visited. He clearly knows a lot about the history of the Cotswolds and current events. He was funny and managed the group well. His varied playlist was tailored to the nationalities of the participants and was great to listen to. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and wouldn't hesitate to take another one with Alan.
