With Alan on the Stonehenge & Cotswold Villages tour

On 18 May, we went on the 'Stonehenge and Cotswold Villages' tour, with Alan as our driver and guide. He kept us entertained throughout the trip by sharing all sorts of interesting facts about the places we visited. He clearly knows a lot about the history of the Cotswolds and current events. He was funny and managed the group well. His varied playlist was tailored to the nationalities of the participants and was great to listen to. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and wouldn't hesitate to take another one with Alan.

Graham was awesome

Graham was awesome. So knowledgeable and interesting. I wish I was still there. However the hotel in Perth was less than comfortable. We were put in the handicap room that so small our luggage wouldn't even fit. There was no ELEVATOR. Our luggage was heavy and had to drag it upstairs.

An Unforgettable Highland Experience with Peter

Our 5 day tour with Rabbies was absolutely fantastic! Peter, our host, made the entire experience feel personal and genuine, it was less like being on a structured tour and more like having a knowledgeable friend show us around. His warmth and enthusiasm really set the tone for the day.

We saw so much of what makes the Highlands special, and every moment was memorable. The scenery was breathtaking, and Peter's local knowledge and passion for the region really shone through. While we didn't have quite enough time to tackle all the hikes we were excited about, that's honestly just giving us an excuse to come back!
If you're thinking about exploring the Highlands and want an authentic, friendly introduction to the region, I'd highly recommend booking with Rabbies. It's the perfect way to get a taste of what this incredible part of Scotland has to offer.

Can't wait to return and do those hikes properly!

When we got on the coach we had to sit…

When we got on the coach we had to sit in the 2nd back row. Unfortunately, this has restricted leg room - we are both not that tall (180cm) & the leg room was shocking. I moved to the single seat & sat slightly sideways. Luckily, the ladies in the back row swapped seats with us the next day & there was enough leg room, though it was a little bouncy.
The tour content & driver were very good, but the coach is not suitable for tall passengers.

Hi Jenni,

We appreciate that these mini-coaches might not be as roomy as other bigger coaches and we apologise for the discomfort.

Though, we're glad to hear that you appreciated the content and you guide as they are essential to our tours.

We have received your email as well and we will get back to you.

Best regards,
Camille

Rabbie’s does really great tours

Rabbie’s does really great tours. I love the small group size, and the staff really seem to admire working for the company, which really says something. The staff was friendly and informative. I would do another Rabbie’s tour any chance I get.

Outstanding experience with Billy

We had an excellent experience with our trip from Edinburgh to Inverness on 4/28, Inverness to Kirkwall on 4/29, Kirkwall to Ullapool on May 1 and Ullapool back to Edinburgh on May 2.

Our guide was Billy and in addition to his obvious love for and pride in Scotland, he was an excellent driver in that challenging Highlands terrain, a master storyteller (both on historic matters and folk tales) and all-around outstanding host. We could not have hoped for a better experience.

Alex was the key to our fun filled day

Alex was humorous, knowledgeable and just fun to be around. We had ample time at each of our tour stops. One of the best tours we had when in Scotland and would highly recommend to future guests. This was our first time booking with Rabbies and we will definitely use them again.

This was my first visit to Scotland

This was my first visit to Scotland, and I have to say that my experience with Rabbies was a big reason that I look forward to trips in the future. Our driver/Tour Guide (Tom) for the Speyside 3-Day Whisky tour did a fantastic job. He was knowledgeable and made us feel extremely welcome. Hotel accommodations made by Rabbies in Grantown-on-Spey were comfortable and convenient.

Nice short day trip.

Declan was a great driver and tour guide. Departure point and check in were very well organized. Nice place to meet as it was easy to find and walk to. I left off a star as we would have liked more time at Anstruther and St. Andrews and left off Falkland. Not much to see there or do. The deli was closed, The Bruce went out of business, not enough time to go through the palace. I do not think we would have anyhow for the cost of it. I was greatly surprised that we got to walk out and get a picture on the bridge at St. Andrews. Queensferry was a nice stop to end the tour.

This was presented as a romantic experience, turned out to be a solo experience.
We should have had the opportunity to reserve seating so my wife and I could sit together, enjoy the experience together.

Hi Darren,

We're sorry that you didn't have the experience you were expecting.

This was a full tour and we try our best to sit passengers of the same group together. We’re sorry to hear that this was not the case for you.

We advise the customers arrive early at the departure point to secure seats together.

Best regards,
Camille

Guided Tours Are The Way To Go

We recently did the 4-day Isle of Skye & The West Highlands tour with Rabbie's and had a great time! We were so glad we did not have to drive ourselves or research that portion of our trip. Our guide Kevin was great and shared a lot of interesting info along the way. We had Rabbie's book our accommodations for us and that was a seamless process. It was a pretty fast-paced tour so some of the stops felt a little rushed but we packed a lot in during the four days. It would have probably taken us at least one or two additional days to see that much on our own. We saw both the highlights of the area plus a few off the beaten path places and I was pleased with what all was included. The van was comfortable. I was worried about getting motion sickness on the curvy roads but did okay by sitting close to the front (with meds and sea bands). The other people on our tour were very nice. We were worried about the strict luggage requirements but had no issues with our bags being a couple inches bigger than the suggestions. Some people also had extra souvenir bags in addition to their personal bag.
